won't be wearing anything special as DH away all weekend so just child entertaining activities on the cards!
Got my summer clothes down from the loft so going to have a good sort once DC in bed so that when/if it gets warm I'm good to go. Will also make me think about what I need rather than just buying random stuff I like.

new boots seem to be softening up slowly but nicely. Got a load of dry washing to put away and a drawer full of recently discovered tees to sort out. really don't feel like it though. I'm also waiting for a delivery of my new midi controller, I thought it would have been here by now

I can safely say I like ALOT of things on that Hush website!! I've seen quite a few shorts and dresses on there...incl that one you linked shop and that whole ensemble with that stripe tee

I liked my OOTD though it is pretty simple: black mother sweatshirt, cropped and frayed mini flares and white superstars.

I really like that Hush one shop, my kind of colours.

Nothing exciting planned for the weekend. Dc need new shoes. I have braced myself.

DM had a clear out recently and unearthed my old school uniform coat bought when I was 12. It is still too big!! she always bought stuff at least 3/4 sizes too big (bought dd1 a dress age 2-3 when we were still in hospital). The coat is actually quite nice, navy trench, below the knee, from Harrods so good quality. It is a bit big around the shoulders though. I am wondering whether to spend £12 getting it cleaned or throw it in the charity bag.

Forgot to link topshop utility trousers They arrived the other day. I really like them but they are a smidge too short, just about ankle grazer length without a turn up. I wish they did them in tall. Do we think they would look ok without a turn up?

Tonight we have friends over - spent the day slaving over a hot stove making various curries, bhajees etc. Think I will wear my new maxi dress here. Not had it taken up yet but can get away with the length indoors. Shoes will be silver wedges.

queen I quite like orange, but it's not a colour i would have wore BHoC, so I'm wondering if it's a bit emperor's new clothes. I checked my HoC swatch notes and it's a one star, good for jumpers etc, so the cardi I was wearing "should" have been perfect

maz I love sparkly and ott shoes. Infact I love anything sparkly, I'm a magpie.

dry be really careful how you wash and iron that top I had a very similar one in silk and never got the bits to lay properly after it was washed

shop I love black tie, but we've not been to one in ages either. Funnily enough I think the last one was at dh president club trip in Monte Carlo.
shop the holiday was a nice break, but the hotel wasn't really us, so wouldn't go back.

Do hush clothes come up as big as their pjs which are huge.

Picked up the Next jumpsuit and it's fab, the first jumpsuit I've tried that actually really flattering. Will be great dressed up or casual on holiday or if it ever stops raining/gets warm here!

Just back from a work drinks .....prosecco at 4.30!!! Proud of myself because I drank loads of water and prosecco recon my head should be ok tomorrow it's taken this long for me to learn

Has anyone seem a nice light tan blazers? I left mine on the plane and after dh shouted at pretty much everyone I decided not to pursue it it was only from banana republic and very old but very useful.

I meant beige rather than light tan.

Oh bugger, think I may have had too much wine! Got to take ds3 to school tomorrow for 9am-hope we don't forget to wake up!
