I do think it's a bit of a travesty that non Brits who pay tax can't vote while Brits living abroad paying nothing can. I was trying to explain voting day to the girls this morning, the eldest told me she thought I should run the country and asked when she would be prime minister.

Off for drinks in Shoreditch tonight - tempted to break out the flares but not sure what shoes to wear. It's too cold for toes out I think.

Made a dash to Next at lunch and saw this jumpsuit which looked nice for summer holidays but they didn't have my size so have ordered in. I actually went in to look for these silver pumps to bridge the gap until it's warm enough to get some silver sandals. They didn't have any so have ordered in, but a 3 week wait.
Hope those having bad days/weeks start to see an improvement, I'm having a shocker of a week work wise, already have too much grey (covered by dirty blonde highlights) and seem to have started a bout of possibly 'age related' insomnia so not feeling my best!

Love those stripy sundresses Shop, I'd buy one if I could guarentee sunshine in Norfolk this summer.

Ok. Got that out of my system. Kids are driving me mad love them really and can't wait to get them into bed and crack open the Sauvignon and chill. Even if dh does cancel pil he feels guilty about it as his mum struggles with dad (dementia) but its an 8h round trip.

No fashion news. I'm currently covered in pizza from dd and my nails have chipped badly. Also the eyebrows need some serious tweezing!!

Grey cashmere Theory sweater (thanks Lib) semi tucked into Paige Jimmies (thanks Linus), with Jigsaw red suede heels (found by Amber) - knickers and red suede Jigsaw clutch all my own work (and bright red lips).

shop I love stripes but those Uniqlo ones are not 'even' enough for my taste. That probably doesn't make sense but I like stripes in only two colours and of the same width.

The Balenciaga flats arrived today. I haven't been able to try them on properly with the DC at home but I'll give them a try tomorrow.

Hello. Sorry I have been MIA - am avoiding the shops / blogs / clothes sites as part of my shopping ban and I am in a really busy work phase.

Shop great sign you are wearing the sweater already. I had a little pang as I packed it up, it's so lovely but I am glad it's gone to a good home

Evening Mnvers, on the way home. I went for the green Cos midi skirt, dark green silky top tucked in with leather jacket, opaques and pointy black and white flats. I felt good although everyone else was in skinnies and tops. DH started 2 hours before me and didn't eat so is now passed out.

Bit depressed about the exit polls, I'm worried about what the NHS and state schools will look like after another 5 years of this government.

Had a lovely day yesterday - went to visit the Dressing Room for a blogger event, then went for a run. Bought a T-Bags dress which I really love - now just need to create an excuse to wear it. Actually it could be worn casually if this weather will just improve!
