Just clearing down my Watched Threads and realised that I've not seen one in Active Convos for ages, can't find one on the first 5 pages in topic.

Have they stopped? Summer is coming!

I had a white tee like that from M&S last year and it served me well. Have bought this www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Tops-T-shirts/Sleeveless-Tops/WA559/Womens-Shell-Top.html?NavGroupID=18 in the Ivory and the green - v handy for work.

www.zara.com/uk/en/its-mid-season/woman/high-waisted-pinstripe-trousers-c721010p2559501.html

Also, these arrived yesterday & are better than I thought. Although i will not be styling mine with a crop top!! Have purchased a long length slightly fitted boat neck tee from Zara that looks nice with these and will add a plain silver necklace and some silver or black pumps.

ElizabethHoover · 19/04/2015 15:59

its petite though, innit

ElizabethHoover · 19/04/2015 15:59

shell top too revealing for work

noddyholder · 19/04/2015 16:06

I have a couple of very ugly no wire marks bras that I love for comfort and make me look a lot smaller Just cross over very plain 2 in a pack for about a tenner.I hate underwire every single day!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/04/2015 16:52

Link please, Nod! :)

Have The White Company got anything in the not quite a white t-shirt line? It's the sort of thing they are usually pretty good at, but you'll probably need to size down a lot.

noddyholder · 19/04/2015 17:52

www.marksandspencer.com/2-pack-non-wired-crossover-a-e-bras/p/p21078931 take a bit of getting used to but when I wear these people always ask if I've lost weight!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/04/2015 18:42

Cheers, Noddy. I used to wear those years ago - will give them a try again.

margaritasbythesea · 20/04/2015 15:56

Remus - Meant to say minimising rather than flattening. The name is part of my retirement fantasy. It is also from Thelma and Louise - just sort of stuck with me.

Everyone seen M&S 20% off today?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/04/2015 19:30

Thanks, Margaritas.

I have never seen, 'Thelma and Louise.' Should I?

In other news, I wore my White Company grey cigarette trousers to work with heels, a silk shirt and a jacket and got wolf whistled at by one of the (female) secretaries. I think that might mean that they are a success! :)

Duty bound to update. Returned this zara broiderie top as mentioned up thread, said it was miles too small in M (usually 10-12). Turns out it was mid-sized, was really an xs. Tried in the S today. It fit well and v pretty. In case anyone was buying - check the size on the inside label.

Tried on the zara trees you linked Eliz. Nice. And belt is actually not bad irl.

lurkingaround · 21/04/2015 15:03

Ffs. Trews, not trees

ElizabethHoover · 21/04/2015 15:34

Have the black ones on today. With leopard.

Ooh, they're nice! Me likey, where from?

lurkingaround · 21/04/2015 16:07

Ooh very nice Eliz! Great with the leopard shoes. Fab.

Do you manage a full day in those shoes?

lurkingaround · 21/04/2015 16:14

Also pretty toes. Quelle couleur? Must do tonight, what with the good weather 'n' all.

ElizabethHoover · 21/04/2015 16:57

Shoes marks sale. Years ago. Had a strap i cut off. Yup whole day but not as comfy as others.

Trews Zara last year. Will link.
Toes Barry M gelly range in ... looks passion fruit. I go to. Vietnamese place. They shave the hard skin off. Confused

What have Zara got with midriffs atm?!

lurkingaround · 21/04/2015 17:09

I have v similar jacket in black. V nice on, lovely but I have had em, not much wear out of it. Hard to make an outfit with it. Can't fidure out why.

Trews are great.

Stevie77 · 21/04/2015 17:40

What's the fit like on the Zara trews? Are they for the long legged, like all their trousers? I

'm after a pair of slim ankle grazers like that, ones I tried on in Next were awful.

ElizabethHoover · 21/04/2015 17:44

They are def 7/8 rather than cropped. Slim on thigh, not too high waisted

lurkingaround · 21/04/2015 21:51

Someone linked to this Zara skirt up thread. Tried it on today, it's a good skirt on my pear shape, just above knee. They had it displayed with the top in the picture. They are completely different navys. Looked a bit odd. Skirt on the maybe list.

Also tried this top in navy and in the white. Liked it. Size S was teenchy on my arms. On my maybe list. Polyester, so won't be popular here.

And this poly top, thought it'd be handy. Also nice. i could barely get my hand thru the arm opening in size S. I must have mahoosive hands and have been blissfully ignorant of this fact all my life. Guffaw. Daft Zara sizes. Tried on a few other things too. Was looking for a pale jacket. Didn't find one.

ElizabethHoover · 21/04/2015 22:05

Love all three
