That's a shame remus I might just try it anyway just in case, it's got good reviews. Although I fear yet another trip to the post office will be due!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/04/2015 22:20

Everything goes with denim though! I had cut-offs last year, for the first time since a teenager, but they were not v flattering.

BabyGanoush · 05/04/2015 22:29

Hush marseille shorts are nice

ElizabethHoover · 05/04/2015 22:33

Isn't it just another name for Tencel??

SwedishEdith · 05/04/2015 22:36

And I've no real idea what that is either.

Gosh people actually plan what to wear on school run! I just end up wearing what falls out of wardrobe firstBlush. Or work clothes. Then again most mums at DS school wear Islamic dress so no real competing...

RonaldMcDonald · 06/04/2015 00:43

Absolutely damn whomever put up the finery site
I could buy it all pretty much

Love the colour of the cos dress, perfect but wrong for my breasticles

WhereTheFuckIsMyFuckingCoat · 06/04/2015 07:55

Ok, have been watching thread with interest and actually bought a "school run" dress today. Maybe? I'm in aus so maybe slightly different, but does this cut the mustard?? (Please excuse honkin legs).

"Gosh people actually plan what to wear on school run!"

Read the earlier pages of the thread! This is longstanding MN slang, not an actual discussion of the school run.

" I just end up wearing what falls out of wardrobe"

Yes, getting nice, easy to wear things into your wardrobe so they are there, ready to fall out effortlessly is pretty much the point of the thread.

BallroomWithNoBalls · 06/04/2015 08:25

Remus I like River Island for denim shorts - just avoid the bum skimmers!

polyhymnia · 06/04/2015 08:30

Any views on the denim dress BabyGanoush posted? Quite fancy a denim dress.

GerbilsAteMyCat · 06/04/2015 08:32

I think the point of the 'school run' dress was that it was a dress you could throw on to pick the kids up after you had spent the afternoon in the garden wearing a swimsuit/shorts/whatever and then look instantly put together: ta dah.

GerbilsAteMyCat · 06/04/2015 08:33

I like the joules one, is there a joules code as it is super pricey.

polyhymnia · 06/04/2015 08:43

Who are these people who spend the afternoon in the garden? I always dropped off and occasionally picked up in my work clothes.

ElizabethHoover · 06/04/2015 08:45

They're called people on maternity leave. Or who don't work. Obv

a SCHOOL RUN DRESS- Easy to wear thrown on every day dress designed for warm English weather not polyester.

Not strappy iirc either. One you could wear popping to school or shop. Not beach wear

NB. this dress has never been found. Like unicorns or the holy grail or the perfect raincoat

School run coat is better. Unless in swimwear/shorts obviously

otherwise it covers a multitude.

NoPsipsinaChocolateOrange · 06/04/2015 08:54

I lovethis though. Toast
