Loving that Sunday Box idea. I'm always threatening to take dc toys to the charity shop.

I love all the LKB shoes the high ones and the flats equally but the colour of Shops ones are divine. What will you wear them with?

Ellis wow a real life ballerina. Sorry to hear your career was cut short, must have been really hard to take.

Muddling lovely to see you back on here, are you pleased with your diagnosis? Cue lots of shopping in London this weekend. Where will you start?

Linus dinner sounds delicious.

Novice that sounds tough re: dh having to work the weekend. Hope your time off manages to go as planned.

Topaz a new house how exciting. I love moving and would move more often but dh is not so keen. I'm always looking on RM suggesting places but he's really digging his heels in. There's nothing wrong with our place it's just that I get bored after a few years and like the idea of starting a new project.

LinusDKD · 31/03/2015 21:49

justa the DC aren't really too fussy but DD is 2, so contractually obliged to be difficult and DS likes to complain about everything. And I mean everything!

betty I look at our real estate websites every few months, just to see if I see anything nice Wink

justasecond · 31/03/2015 22:01

Grin Linus one day you will look back on it all with fondness. I was clearing out some old stuff earlier today and came across a cardigan and hello kitty dress dd2 (now 8) was wedded to when she was 3. She refused to wear anything else for ages and the poor dress and cardi were so worn out and raggedy with a hole she had cut in the dress. I used to have to wash them overnight so she could wear the next day.

Betty I bought the shoes to go with the Karen Millen dress DH bought me for holiday (on Pin) but will also wear them with navy chinos and a white tee, or pink cashmere sweater. I think they'll work with jeans too.

Sunday box would work a treat with my teenaged DS .......all rugby kit could go, imagine the panic on match days Grin

Fashion conundrum .:
Off out on Friday with my DSises need to pack tomorrow never been to the restaurant before, DSis 1 says it's not dressy, v ralaxed, jeans....but she never wears jeans Hmm.... We have never been out just us, because of distance, I want to make an effort. Am thinking black slim leg trs, black crew neck boxy fine knit, discrete necklace with a nice heel might be safe? WWYD

Cranagh · 31/03/2015 23:00

Dinner sounds delicious, Linus. My children would not eat that w/o major whining though.

I love your LKB shoes Shop.

I'm tempted to get another pair of those shorts, Betty. But am moving to Ireland in July so probably should buy a good raincoat instead.Grin

Cranagh · 31/03/2015 23:01

Sounds like a perfect outfit, Dry.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 01/04/2015 07:20

Im happy with the result betty i think because they were colours i liked but didnt have the confidence to have tried them especially the raspberry red and the green shades.
Shopping wise nothing really planned over the last few months put on a stone due to stress and not being well but hoping to go to uniqulo at least. Its also a chance to relax and catch up with DH after ge was away for 3 weeks.

LinusDKD · 01/04/2015 07:24

Morning!

Brrr cold here, we even had a bit of hail this morning.

OOTT is Mrs. Yawn from Boringsville today so I won't even bother writing it down.

That outfit sounds great dry! I might steal your idea about just having dinner with DSis when she's here in September.

Interesting article shop. Seems established online retailers feel the competition as well.

one how was breakfast? Have you bought any Minnie ears yet? I bet they would suit you.

Can't wait to try those shorts betty and cranagh!

As a pear shorts are usually tricky, even now I've lost about 14 kg. Anything clingy is a nono.

QueenCardigan · 01/04/2015 07:51

betty I hate moving and intend staying here forever. topaz very exciting though.
dry that outfit sounds great. Coukd you also pack a couple of extra things just in case you change your mind?
My chin is erupting into teenage spots Sad

Ellisisland · 01/04/2015 07:52

Haha Just I've had 2 kids since I was a dancer so any elegance and there wasn't a lot there tbh has long gone Grin

mudding was in uniqlo yesterday and they had some nice stuff in. i got a shirt and some jeans.

The weather is just bizarre at the moment. Really high winds but bright sunshine with the occasional hail stones Confused

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2015 08:50

I'm having a morning just for me...off to the gym, followed by manicure and massage, can't wait, Dh gave me a voucher for Christmas.

santamarianovella · 01/04/2015 09:14

Morning,!
dry, your outfit sounds perfect, enjoy your beauty session,

I hate moving too, we moved twice since we came here , and I was on the verge of going insane, its hellish!

That's very interesting shop it was all over the news yesterday, but TBH, I don't know, NAP is well established, but to merge with yoox just for the sake of E dominance is just absurd, sometimes staying small is good,

Going out for late breakfast with my mum, wearing BC navy sweater, bC grey jeans, and coat, its still so cold here, Sad, its April and it was snowing this morning Sad, and now its raining Sad,

shopafrolic · 01/04/2015 09:32

Freezing here. Am about to have my pre holiday pedicure. Means I will have to do school pick up in my flip flops. Brrrr

Feeling righteous this morning - went for a run last night, arms and abs session this morning and now eating overnight oatmeal for breakfast. Going to buy one of these bikinis so I need to be in shape - nowhere to hide!

Bought this skirt yesterday which will be nice for summer, I hope.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2015 09:50

Brr Shop!

Novice same role as before but with more of a social / digital angle. Thought it would be good to fill that gap as it gets more in demand. Hopefully an advantage for future contracts or agency roles.

Linus that dinner sounds very yummy.

I'm surprised at Yoox and NaP. I wonder how it will all work.

Nothing interesting here, the dc have moved into that part of the holidays where they play the funniest games together for hours.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2015 09:51

Like those Amber

shopafrolic · 01/04/2015 11:02

Toes done - she used Vinylux polish so should be dry in two hours for shoes which is good. Back tomorrow for waxing :(
Not sure how the Yoox thing works vs The Outnet - will be interesting to see.
Fire at Bicester Village today - so the whole place is closed. Imagine the £££ losses Shock

OP posts:
AmberNectarine · 01/04/2015 11:11

Mine are doing that too Marsha lots of role play - DD gives DS the funniest names. Today he's Marco, the other day he was Gideon!

maradesbois · 01/04/2015 11:37

Morning!

Shock at Bicester fire Shop. Just looked it up, nobody seems to have been injured but am surprised there were so many shoppers there before 9am on a weekday.

Linus I would happily have eaten your dcs share of that yummy-sounding dinner last night! Ds is a mix of pretty adventurous eg loves strong cheese like Munster, epoisses but also really difficult eg won't eat sauce of any description even tomato sauce on pasta.

Novice Sad Sad at dh having to work all Easter weekend. What a shame. Can empathise as am at the end of my tether with dh's schedule, so glad we've got a week away together coming up even though as soon as we land tomorrow we have to go to his office for a conference call Hmm.

No fashion news, I spent a lot last month so reining it in. OOTD is navy dress with orange spots. Was £14 in gap sale a couple of years ago but has been mistaken for Marni on more than one occasion.

Betty am addicted to RM, Zoopla etc too. Need to stop comparing what the price of a house in London can buy elsewhere eg a castle in Scotland, villa on the Côte d'Azur...

shopafrolic · 01/04/2015 11:50

Blair you would be proud of me! I have a spreadsheet for holiday packing :)
Well done Boden for best April Fool's Day spoof so far.

I look at rightmove everyday without fail! I look in the area we live in and the one I'd like to live in.

I slumped back into my bad ways this morning. But at least I got dressed! I went to work this morning and I'm cleaning now, so I'm wearing black coh jeans, three black tops, a lo ng sleeve t shirt one from dorothy Perkins, a thermal one from Nike and another Nike top. I also wore my short grey uggs but tbh I felt pretty I'll so I don't think my uggs would make me feel any worse!

I'm still not feeling myself but feel 100% better than I did!

Karbea · 01/04/2015 13:09

Maybe they'll be some good bargains at Bicester tmr if they smell of fire looking on the bright side
