Thanks all for advice/get well wishes for DS. We saw GP this morning and she feels it is a severe headache/migraine rather than anything else. She did a very thorough examination and got DS to talk about his pain etc. However, we are to go back if he still has pain on Thursday. She has increased the nurofen dosage too. He does seem happier today and said he felt better for the fresh air we had on the walk to GP so I'm feeling less concerned.
QueenC I received the MU message, thank you. Will reply properly shortly. About the lipstick thing - I'm the same as you with blue-ish lips. I'm in danger of receiving CPR from a well meaning passer-by if I don't wear lipstick.
Can I join a Lib/Dry Support group too please? I'm trying to break a habit of buying lots of tops/tees that I feel are missing from my wardrobe but never seem to wear them. I also am a sucker for a bargain but I think that is changing. I wandered around H&M on saturday and honestly didn't want to buy a thing - even the fringe bag that is making an appearance on lots of blogs at the moment didn't really say "buy me".
Amber I have a starting point for your jeans sizing blog post. I pulled out a pair of Citizens of Humanity Ada jeans this morning which I haven't worn in ages (I gained a stack of weight due to medication last year and am only just getting back into my real clothes, as opposed to the emergency weight gain stuff I bought). Anyway, said jeans are 29" waist so should fit given that I can comfortably fit a size 10. Not a chance. They were about 2" too small on the waist and that was after I literally dragged them over my thighs. Couldn't even begin to do the zip up. And yet, here I sit in MiH Paris jeans in a 28" and more than comfortable. So frustrating.
Cranagh love Velvet/Graham & Spencer especially their tees. Beautifully soft and on my wish list for the "buy less, choose well" approach I am trying to adopt. Also loving the All Saints cardigan. Dare I admit to having a merino navy cardigan in my wardrobe which is identical but which was advertised as a "waterfall" cardigan (hangs head in shame). I wear mine draped Vivienne Westwood style - using either a belt or a discreetly placed pin. You've inspired me and I'm now committed to digging it out and wearing with white skinnies once Spring is definitely here.
I'm lusting after IM jewellery on the Outnet today. Some really gorgeous pieces. Also loving this although I would wear it with white skinnies until I have tanned legs. I also think this is rather gorgeous too. I wore a lot of cream last summer with navy and a rich taupe.
