It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Oh and meeting went really well Smile. I am really tired now though. All that nervous energy expended in worrying about it!!!

OneLittleLady · 02/03/2015 18:45

Ujjayi I'm echoing Amber too. I have also had viral meningitis and those exact same symptoms. It could well be a migraine but i would think it needs checking out. Hope he's feeling better soon whatever the outcome Thanks

yay for lib I knew it would go well for you Wine Thanks

I just realised tonight, I can do facetime now! I has macbook, will use. Means i can facetime my sister and dp to name a few

LinusDKD · 02/03/2015 19:25

Evening!

Glad my enabling was not in vain shop and mara! Wink

Love that Equipment shirt btw.

ujjayi I would be interested as well to have a look when you make that top.

I hope your DS feels better soon but I agree with everyone else, it's probably better to go and see a dr.

MarshaBrady · 02/03/2015 19:28

Evening lovely people.

Ujj hope all is ok with your ds, yes to seeking out a Dr.

Big wave to Bernice Smile You would look great in dungarees.

Mara love the equipment shirt.

I'm taking so long with flares that it may miss me by!

Ujjayi · 02/03/2015 19:29

Oh my gosh. Thank you for all advice on DS. I hadn't considered viral meningitis. He seems well in himself but just keeps getting these sudden bursts of pain. No temp etc. He had been feeling sick for a few days but I put that down to a mild bug. Once the headache started I assumed migraine as I get awful nausea & visual disturbance too. Will keep an eye on him overnight & see GP tomorrow if no improvement.

Thank you Smile

maradesbois · 02/03/2015 19:29

Brilliant that all went well Lib, lovely when the effort pays off. Btw don't know if you bought those short wide trousers/culottes but I read an article in Madame Figaro suggesting they should be styled with kitten heels and a trench resting nonchalantly over the shoulders. So there you go Wink.

maradesbois · 02/03/2015 19:30

Hope he's ok Ujj, it's horrible when they're ill Flowers.

shopafrolic · 02/03/2015 19:41

What the others said Ujjayi please get some further medical advice.
Lib how did it go??

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/03/2015 20:00

Hope your DS is better soon Ujjayi, it does sound worrying.

Thanks for all the well wishes... I haven't actually "lost" 9lbs, I had a couple of heavy drinking nights a week ago and was a few pounds heavier than usual. I've probably lost 5-6 lbs. It doesn't show though as I am completely untoned Blush Will see how I feel after dinner. It may be stress related but I don't think it's work stuff, that's ok.

Dry lol at the H&S sign... only you! Wink

Glad meetings went well Lib and novice!

libertychick · 02/03/2015 20:23

I still haven't bought the culottes Mara. Great styling tip - for someone who stands still and has their photo taken all day Grin. I'd be at risk of breaking an ankle in kitten heels and the coat would keep falling off my sloping shoulders and getting stepped on on the TubeGrin. I think if I do get them I'll wear with cream sweater and either pointy toe flats or brogues

Shop I have been very inspired by the blog you linked the other day, this one. Firstly I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her hair. I am growing mine out ATM so the curl is dropping out and I love her fringe, I may work towards getting mine to look like that. And second, she looks great with just 37 items of clothing. Food for thought. And third, I love that her guest bloggers are different body shapes to her, really shows how to look good at different sizes.

libertychick · 02/03/2015 20:25

Oh and sleep check out that blog I just mentioned for some white / cream jeans inspiration.

libertychick · 02/03/2015 20:44

And I love the Equipment floral shirt Mara gorgeous.

MarshaBrady · 02/03/2015 20:47

Lib so pleased the meeting went well. Fancy buying something nice, you deserve it Grin

shopafrolic · 02/03/2015 20:53

Sorry Lib I skim read and missed your 2nd post, glad the meeting went well xx

shopafrolic · 02/03/2015 20:54

I loved her blog too Lib but her wardrobe lacks colour which I guess makes that few pieces easier to work with.

maradesbois · 02/03/2015 21:10

Grin lib still think those trews need a heel though

AmberNectarine · 02/03/2015 21:10

I had no temp and felt nauseous for a few days before the headache started, so it is worth getting it checked out if no improvement tomorrow

libertychick · 02/03/2015 21:23

Mara I think you may be right about the heel and it may be why I haven't actually bought them yet. I'm not known for my restraint especially with H&M.

Marsha you are such an enabler! I have spent a lot over the last few weeks and may even have other things on the way that I haven't confessed to here Grin

libertychick · 02/03/2015 21:28

Yes her wardrobe does lack colour Shop. I don't think I could do 37 items but I like the idea of just having what you might wear for the next 3 months in the wardrobe and put the rest away. And then buy nothing until the 3 months is up, it feels like a good way to organise yourself. I'll give it a go when I get the current essay finished and will report in here on how many items I settle on.

Drywhiteplease · 02/03/2015 22:24

liberty you and I share the same problem Grin

libertychick · 02/03/2015 22:28

Is that the 'uncontrolled and frequently denied compulsive clothes shopping syndrome' Dry? Maybe we should set up a support group???? Grin

libertychick · 02/03/2015 22:37

Do you think that finding one elusive perfect top will solve all your problems?
Do you find your finger twitching uncontrollably when faced with a huge discount on the perfect jeans even though they are the wrong colour for you?
If you find one perfect item in a given shop do you decide that fate has decreed that you should buy several other items at the same time I mean hey, if one makes you happy what would 3 new things be like?
If the skirt is a fabulous that means you'd be insane not to buy it in 2 other colours, right??
Do you believe that if it costs less than £20 then it doesn't even really count as shopping??

If this is you, call LibDry support, we may not be able to do anything to help you change your behaviour but we will understand and you'll feel temporarily better knowing that people with even weaker impulse control exist

Blush, Blush, Blush

Drywhiteplease · 02/03/2015 23:12

Blush Blush Grin Blush

OneLittleLady · 02/03/2015 23:24

signing up for libDry support. I have almost zero impulse control when it comes to cheaper items of clothing. I know I shouldn't buy them, I know I don't need them, or the necklace too but I buy them anyway. I have at least weaned myself off buying things in colours that don't suit me just because I like it. I need to stop though and I have been almost true to my word and have only bought holiday clothes and just a few essentials since I made my vow not to shop for a while. I mean, for gods sake, I have FOUR, yes FOUR drawer fulls of tees and vests Blush Blush I need to save and buy better instead of blowing money on cheap stuff that ends up costing as much as the more expensive stuff by the time i'm done

QueenCardigan · 03/03/2015 07:50

Grin at libdry support. I'm not as bad as I used to be especially since I've banned myself from buying lipsticks and nail polishes. They're such a great way to get a cheap fix.
