It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

I was going to say the same thing QueenC - cherish CBeebies while you can, soon it will be Spongebob and Gravity Falls Hmm. I feel sorry for DS2m he's missed out on so much CBeebies Sad.

Cranagh · 04/03/2015 11:40

Justa, I need that cardigan in grey too. It's perfect, not too long, not too short, not too waterfall! Love All Saints atm.

Did an hour's spin just now and felt dizzy towards the end. I think I'm having blueberry withdrawals, Dry!

I would definitely go midweek to Bicester rather than a Sat, if possible, Shop.

I have worn black to a wedding (pre HOC diagnosis of course Wink), I think it is fine. I tsk tsk to myself if someone other than the bride wears white though!

Cranagh · 04/03/2015 11:42

DD2 never really got to watch In the Night Garden and so on, it's all Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb etc here.

LinusDKD · 04/03/2015 12:08

Ok, I have started my wardrobe clear-out.

First impressions: I really used to be into Polo Ralph Lauren and Gant polo shirts and Velvet knot twist tops and dresses Hmm

LinusDKD · 04/03/2015 12:15

Ha amber, look what I found!

I used to wear these milkmaid stylee on my head on the beach. or wrapped around my sunburned knees after I forgot to put sunscreen on them

Morning,

Feeling chipper after a good long run. You'll get back into it Linus, I was very admiring of your determination to go out on the cold, dark mornings. Am a fair weather outside runner only, don't mind cold but like it to be sunny.

And yy to wearing black dress to wedding, ignore your dm etc, times have changed! Dh's auntie was Shock at ours because female guests mainly wore summery dresses, not skirt suit and hat.

Dry what is your WBD costume?

Just collected my Equipment shirt from Dhl depot, sign of too much shopping that am on first name terms with the man now Blush. Love your Equipment one too Cranagh.

Stokey looking forward to meeting you at mu, don't worry about dressing up, I'll be casual too Smile.

One how do I do the adblocker on iPad?

Lib I don't know that programme but can safely say you don't look like great aunt anyone! I much prefer a bit of beebies to bloody minecraft or fascination with random YouTube clips of children playing with their toys, why would you rather watch this than play with your own toys??!!

AmberNectarine · 04/03/2015 12:44

Very Saint Laurent Linus

OneLittleLady · 04/03/2015 13:47

mara I'm not sure exactly on an ipad, adblocker is an add on to your browser. I'd google and i'm sure the info will be easily found. Adblocker is one of the best if you can get it for the ipad

Drywhiteplease · 04/03/2015 15:26

Stokey started last night with episode 1, agree about Claire's outfit, thought I could copy for work but always find white cotton shirts looke bulky under sweaters.
Mara Queen oh Hearts, WITH wig Grin!!!!!!!!

QueenCardigan · 04/03/2015 15:51

We must have photos dry.
stokey thanks for your pm. Looking forward to meeting you. I'll be casual too although I'm hoping to wear heeled boots if I think they will be comfortable enough.

Remember I asked about make up the other week? I got 2 samples of minerals powder from Lily lilo but they're not great for me despite lots of raving on another thread. If anyone wants to try them pm me. Today I went and got some samples of stuff from Chanel, laura mercier and bobbi brown so looking forward to trying those.

Fedupnagging · 04/03/2015 17:09

Linus I had a good rummage in New Look but couldn't see your top.

The only skinny flares I found today were these in a lighter denim. They were super flattering on the tummy but far too long. It's not worth getting them taken up as most of the 'flare' will disappear. However, I am definitely going to look for a pair of skinny flares in a petite range.

Am hoping to start watching s3 of HOC tonight; can't wait. We gave up on Indian summer but have started Breaking Bad which is brilliant.

Boden order has arrived; will try on later.

Stokey · 04/03/2015 17:48

I went on a mammoth flare trying on mission today Fed up. The M&S ones were really long on me too and not quite flared enough. H&M have gone 70s mad with enormous flares that had the front pockets which I liked but were a bit too full on. They've got loads of authentic feeling 70s material and browns for the autumns.
The ones that fitted best were Next of all places but mid rise so I kept pulling them up. I have a feeling I may have an old Diesel pair in the loft so will look for those before investing.

I think I saw your top too Linus. It felt nice, t- shirty.

Thanks for reassurance Mara & QueenC, not sure what I'll end up in!

LinusDKD · 04/03/2015 18:45

Thanks for looking fedup!

So the fabric felt nice stokey? I am tempted to order it.

My wardrobe clearout is not quite finished yet but I already have three binbags full to give to charity.

I could have been a bit stricter I suspect but it's hard to get rid of some stuff (cashmere in my case)

Some of my old work dresses brought back so many memories, it seems a lifetime ago I had an office job and conversations with adults. Wink

How did it go today amber?

Drywhiteplease · 04/03/2015 19:04

Told you I had a delivery day feeling this morning!!!!!

Linus Jimmies are here. How do yours feel? Not sure if I'm imagining it, but mine feel a tiny big bigger Hmm

And I'm a sheep, am getting quite an adidas trainer collection. these Stan Smiths arrived. The description says synthetic uppers noticed after ordering, was all set to return but the actual label says leather. So if anyone has size 5.5 or smaller these are £20 cheaper. if you like dark fushia too

Cranagh keep it up. I drank loads of sugar free squash just to get a sweet fix. Also manic eating of sugar free jelly Grin can't look at the stuff now

Drywhiteplease · 04/03/2015 19:06

Think I'm done for spring, I was supposed to be not spending Sad

LinusDKD · 04/03/2015 19:12

No Jimmies here I'm afraid. Sad

Can you compare the fabric content of both pairs to see whether one has my elasthane? My first pair was a much tougher fabric (maybe even 100% cotton) than all my subsequent pairs.

I have been tempted by Stan Smiths but I wear trainers only ocasionally for non-sporty purposes and I still have some Superga (not quite the same thing, I know) that can serve for that purpose. I never quit took the plunge with NB's either.

DH wants to watch Lucy tonight but I'm not a big fan of Scarlett Johanson nor Sci-Fi.

LinusDKD · 04/03/2015 19:23

More elasthane not my elasthane!

Drywhiteplease · 04/03/2015 19:39

Fabric content is identical linus I keep trying them on.....they're a bit darker which is good. Have laid them on my old pair and size seems the same. Perhaps it's just me. PM on it's way.
Stokey episode 2 coming up Smile

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/03/2015 19:41

queenC have pm'ed, sorry it's a bit late!

Amber hope it went well today.

I had a day off today for my first dress fitting. Both my sisters came with me and it was lovely. Then we spent the rest of the day shopping :) I swear everything in the shops this season is either autumnal colours (khaki or mustard) or summer (pastels). Nevertheless I managed to spend:
Acne skinnies - to collect on Fri as I'm getting them adjusted by Selfridges. Whoever said they run small was right, luckily I remembered!
River Island denim skirt v stretchy, got an 8 woooo
and a Uniqlo cream pussy bow blouse, nice fabric and only £20.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/03/2015 20:08

And I wouldn't mind a wedding guest showing up in black (would be disappointed from a fashion pov as I love spring colours!), but my sisters are under instruction to "accidentally" spill red wine on anyone who wears white Grin jokes

MarshaBrady · 04/03/2015 20:17

haha yes. I quite liked the person who wore black, mostly because the dress was amazing. But I was not that impressed with the person who wore white, especially as mine was 'blush'!

QueenCardigan · 04/03/2015 20:22

I agree that everything seems to be autumn colours. I guess they fit well with the 70s trend. If it continues I can't see me buying much this summer.

Hello everyone! Hours and hours of play, bath and stories with the dcs and dc2 still excited so won't go to bed. i am so exhausted!

santamarianovella · 04/03/2015 20:42

Evening lovelies,

Dear lord ! what fashion crimes you've committed in my absence, Wink ,

Had a crazy, time and mind consuming couple of weeks, glad it's over and I can finally relax,

I didn't get a chance to read the previous thread and its impossible to do a proper recap of the current one,I'll just begin from here,

dry fab trainers,

fedup we won't be able to watch HOC 3 here Sad,dh and I are obsessed with it, can't wait to be able to purchase it from iTunes,

Don't mind black, in weddings,

I haven't bought anything since December, planing to do some shopping on Friday, although, I don't know what I need, feel like my brain is blank and I'm only capable of picturing fabric samples, and millwork Confused.

OneLittleLady · 04/03/2015 20:42

all the autumn colours in stores are what's putting me off buying anything, none of it suits me, I look grey, dull and dowdy in any shade of brown or mustard (exception made for my chewbacca dressing gown but I don't need to be stylish when i'm ready for bed!)

Migraine has finally lifted after getting two over two nights and so I finally managed to get a shower so feel slightly more human again
