Had a busy but really inspiring day with some fashion students at the college where I did my course. I gave a talk on starting up your own business. I hate doing talks - literally had my heart thumping in my chest! But they were really sweet, attentive, took loads of notes and seemed genuinely interested and came to see me individually afterwards too.
I've finally made a decision on the Topshop cardigan - it's definitely a keeper. Wore it today with grey v neck tee (Gap) and khaki skinnies (Zara) & a skinny scarf & LOVE it. So snuggly.
Talking of Topshop...I received a message from them today on my Instagram account asking if they could reproduce an image of mine on the "gallery" page of their website. The image is actually a selfie! I was stupidly pleased although I have to say it is a real "Ab Fab" image 
so maybe they are taking the rise or using it as a cautionary tale?!
Lib that Vince shirt is beautiful - really lovely hue and I wish I was a size 6 because that IM dress would be winging it's way to me right now. I am working on a design for myself for a simple silk dress at the moment in my effort to build a "grown up" wardrobe and I think the IM dress has exactly the right kind of vibe.
Santa I get terribly weepy with my period (and usually have one very low mood day within a few days of being due on too). It's definitely got worse as I've got older (44 now). Have you tried anything like Evening Primrose or any other natural mood/hormone stabilisers? I haven't but am always interested to hear others experiences.
My fashion song...I have fond memories of The Clash' Should I Stay Or Should I Go and David Bowie's Rebel Rebel because I walked to both of those in college fashion shows. I also love "She's a Star" by James. The lyrics are about a woman who finally finds her own voice and let's her true energy shine through:
