Actually I can't let anyone near my face, still a mess with the mossie bites . My eye was so bad this morning it had almost closed with the swelling so DH persuaded me to take some steroids (he is prescribed them for use with another condition). They did the trick with the swelling and it's all gone down a lot but still itchy. Just back home so will go to the pharmacy first thing for the strongest antihistamine I can get. Flight was delayed by about 40 mins, then we had a similar wait for the bags so it has been a long day.

I promise this will be my last moaning post but I have just measured the bite behind my knee and it comes in at 5cm x 4cm - I'm a freak!

Ouch lib are you sure you shouldn't see a doctor if you've had such a severe reaction, I really think you ought to if you don't improve by the end of tomorrow. worried about you lovey

Thanks for the present ideas, we're all wi-fi'ed up on the speaker front as DH is a bit of a music geek but nice jumper and Japanese whiskey sound good. He's 39 and very practical, reads a lot but has a kindle. I guess the trouble with all of us is you just tend to buy what you want for yourself so never need anything. I'm also thinking of artwork Shop but think we should probably choose together

Morning all. Feeling much better today. Lashings of sudocream, some anti histamine from the back of the medicine cupboard and a night sleep have worked wonders.

at your quiet day dry. Today I have to sort out a lot of presents, write cards, unpack, do washing, put up tree, decorate, sort invites to DD birthday party and finish an essay and a presentation (gulp). Wish me luck.
