The EBay Joseph leggings in a size 10 have arrived - he bought them from My-W so they are perfect and fit. So now all I need to do is sell my size 12s for £400 or more and I'm sorted.....

So I'm out in an hour. Part of me is looking forward to going out as its been a loooong week but part of me wants to curl up in bed with a cup of tea. Do I go for comfort and wear jeans or glam it up a bit?

betty I just tried them on but didn't like them with my outfit and I want to wear a particular blouse as it goes with my nail polish and is long sleeved! So I m wearing navy blouse, black trousers, black fishnets pop sox (especially for you dry) and black heeled Mary janes.

Stuck on a freezing train platform so finally have time to do a Selfridges report.

this dress does not look as high necked as it does on the model. In fact the boobs were very much on display. Err no! Back it does. I think it would work on a Marsha or Shop who have long bodies.

Similarly this Michael Kors top felt a bit matronly. Didn't hang well. Back it goes!

This Dvf Bentley never arrived as it was sold out in my size.

The leather leggings were great if I was as tall as Marsha or Shop. Also they were a US 2 which Selfridges said were a uk 6. They were a little bit baggy up top. I think their mapping is wrong. It's gorgeous though so I am reluctant to let it go.

Finally, some good news!

I only got this because of Shop and it looks great on. Love it! It's quite thin though so only for spring time.

Complete and utter love. I never would have imagined getting a £380 scarf (at 50% discount) but it feels and looks amazing. Wearing it right now with all black out fit and the PS13 bag. I feel so chic. Also love the other scarf

So overall disappointing buys more than made up for by the gorgeous scarves!

Another pair of Joseph leathers have just sold on EBay for £300 - not feeling as comfortable now but even then mine would only have cost £317 and not £725 so ok really.

Morning! TeenDry's birthday sounds ace! Dh and I had planned to have a nice bottle of red or two last night but never happened as we arrived home to a not well dd and overnight ds feels all hot too. Hopefully it's just a couple of days.

Shop you influenced me to get the Michael Kors stripey top because I started looking at Bretons differently after the great Shop Breton hunt. I have a nice one from Primark which I realised I actually looked nice in, so I have worn a lot. You and mominatrix are also influenced me to get the leather leggings. She looked incredible in hers and it reminded me of how much I loved my leather jeans. I bought them in Argentina years ago but I was a size 10 then and a size 6 now so they're too baggy. She did say I could get them taken in, as the quality of the leather is excellent. They hang in my wardrobe forlornly because I can never bring myself to get rid of them. I thought of giving them to you then remembered they would be cropped trousers on you

Thanks again Liberty for the TKMaxx recommendation - I may have be spending some more time researching their stores this week. The lost time has paid off - a pair of J Brand skinnies for £17 - not that I need any more jeans..... But I think I may be a convert to premium denim at high street prices (could be a time consuming new hobby hunting them down)....
