Very busy week at work with lots of things to finish pre-Xmas. I received over 300 emails yesterday. It's 20 so far today!

However dh got some fantastic news. A bigger bonus than last year and he got promoted! I have been so tense about this and I am so relieved. If he hadn't got it he would have been devastated and it just would have been a crap Christmas. He did however get this look when he asked (as I was piling through my emails) if we were going to errrr celebrate last night. I want to go out for dinner tonight but tbh we are both so fed up of eating out as it' all we have done at work for weeks.

Well, I got some Helmut Lang leather leggings, suede Jimmy Choos, some lovely Agent P undies (chose those myself), some sparkly bracelets from DD, a sparkly Topshop dress from DS aaaand a Valentino bag.

Very spoilt! Kids much better so I'm off to Winter Wonderland to go skating with DH, before dinner and drinks

Also agree re exhausted dcs at this time of year. Think the first full term at school is so much for them to process and speeds up at the end with Christmas stuff. All great fun but time for a rest and some lie-ins. Ever hopeful regarding the latter.
