Still in bed here! There was a 3rd venue?! Nicely done Grin

maradesbois · 23/11/2014 10:51

Morning!

Having a (2nd) espresso in bed before going to get train home. I walked home, got back just after 2.00. Didn't expect to be out so late but always the sign of a good night when you don't notice the time pass. Was fab to see everyone, will be back later with more thoughts once I've come round properly.

And it's still raining.

maradesbois · 23/11/2014 10:54

Blair 3rd venue was tea/coffee and a great idea Sleep?

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 10:57

Blair luckily one that didn't serve alcohol!

Mara did you get drenched walking home? I can't remember if you had an umbrella.

I actually got the bus home! Many people asleep or laughing at the back. Took ages but then I still had the taxi money in my bag which made me feel good. I thought where we are was so well-priced, such a good pick Id definitely go again.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/11/2014 11:11

That does sound like a very good idea Wink

I got wet walking home, no lift from the onesie wearing taxi driver. It was worth it for having no rain up til then though!

bettykt · 23/11/2014 11:17

Still in bed here too. Dc packed off to soft play and I have the house to myself. Bliss.

OneLittleLady · 23/11/2014 11:27

MU sounds fab, so sorry to have missed it! Everyone's outfits soun super stylish

Still ill here, really just not getting any better though I am following all the advice for home treatment. i think the bugs this year have kicked things up a notch in terms of how bad they make you feel and for how long!

maradesbois · 23/11/2014 12:04

Marsha I had umbrella, only meant to walk to somewhere easier to get cab but then was already nearly half way so carried on. It's a nice walk. Feels good to still have the cab money as you said.

Sleepwhenidie · 23/11/2014 12:11

Well...I for one certainly ended the night much less glamorously that I started! I left at 1.30am and there was not a cab/uber/hails to be found in the downpour..I ended up on the night bus very damp and bedraggled in my fake fur, no hood or umbrella Sad. My phone died while I was typing a summary of the evening on the bus and it got home at 2.20am. 50 minutes to travel 2 miles has to be some kind of record Confused. On the bright side I think it acted as a hangover reduction exercise as I feel fine this morning.

Everyone looked gorgeous, Mara in lovely Chanel, Blair beautiful and elegant in the Zarita, Novice you must wear red more often, looked amazing, Betty I loved the bag and scarf and you look at least 10 years younger than you are, quite a feat with triplets Shock! Amber lovely to meet you at last, so pretty and petite, loved the necklace. Marsha fabulous in Lanvin and Rossis (good move bringing flats for the rainWink). Lib looking lovely in that dress, great colour on you. We raised a glass to absent friends....

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 12:21

Oh Sleep what a wet pita.

Here's mine:

Sleep looked stunning in the new jumpsuit.
Novice amazing in the red Kors dress.
Betty you looked lovely and yes to so fresh with triplets!
liberty very pretty in the dress.
Blair a knockout in the lace Zarita, you're going to be such a beautiful bride btw
QueenC very pretty in winter blue
Amber gorgeous in very chic black and rockstuds
Mara gorgeous in Chanel and with swishy hair.

I have a cold today, probably why I felt a bit out of it energy-wise last night now I think about it.

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 12:24

Typing that made me realise there were quite a few of us. Those that couldn't make it, you have to come to next one!

And big Thanks to Sleep and Mara for organising and choosing great venues

Sleepwhenidie · 23/11/2014 12:27

Oh sorry, I forgot Queen Blush! You looked beautiful and I'm very sorry for the absence of wine to go with Abba at Bar Italia Grin maybe you are a bit glad this morning though!

QueenCardigan · 23/11/2014 13:23

Phew, finally home after a rainy drive home. Poor visibility and a couple of near misses neither of which were my fault.

Fab night. Thank you to lib for providing b&b. My round up is...
lib gorgeous blue dress and I love the dvf
blair gorgeous in the zarita and loved hearing about the wedding plans
betty great to meet you, loved the Bentley and you've got me thinking about wanting the r&b bag again
sleep fabulous jumpsuit and glittery shoes
novice fabulous in red
marsha gorgeous lanvin
mara fabulous Chanel jacket
amber great to meet you, you are very pretty and I loved the fur.

Being dragged out soon when I all I want to do is go back to bed.

QueenCardigan · 23/11/2014 13:25

We discussed next mu for blairs vogue hen do. I did put out some dates ages ago and I don't think we managed one when we could all do. blair why don't you pick a date that suits you and we'll all try and be there...

OneLittleLady · 23/11/2014 13:28

QuennC and Blair I could do most weekends through Jan and Feb for a hen do meet up but definitely can't do much through March as I have gigs planned plus I fly to Orlando at the end of March. Put out some dates and I will definitely be there if I can Smile

maradesbois · 23/11/2014 13:55

Ok, am not going to do a full fashion roundup, everyone looked fab as has been said. A few memories though:

QueenC to Marsha on admiration of coat/scarf 'that's what high st smells like' Grin.

Great chat with lib about tk maxx love and the shopping habits of north vs south.

Novice towards the end casually remarking that some bling seemed to be missing from her wrist. Said bling safely retrieved from floor.

Blair great wedding chat and yy to 'hen' mu beforehand if possible. And no bespoke suit for the onesie-wearer!

I admired Sleep's London girl ability to wear fake fur, plunging jumpsuit and party shoes without looking the slightest bit ott.

Great to meet Amber & her fab rockstuds and the lovely Betty who seemed most bemused at actually being referred to by her mn moniker!

All the absent Voguettes were much missed. Love the glass toast pic.

Nearly home, this train is slow. Can't wait to curl up on sofa with ds and watch a film.

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 14:37

Lol I had no idea what QueenC was doing or saying Grin

Yes to Blair's hen do, voguette style.

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 14:47

I just thought it was some random scarf waving thing.

What month? Linus I don't suppose you are in London at some point?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 23/11/2014 15:06

Lol at novice dropping some bling on floor! Glad it was noticed!

Sorry to hear about the cold Marsha, I am feeling delicate but luckily not ill. Just had a bacon and egg sandwich with hash browns and black pudding on the side which helped.

Love everyone's round ups!

For next MU/hen do, at the moment I can make any weekend in Feb/March. In Jan I can't do the 10th (having style day!) and probably not the 17th as I have menu tasting on the 18th. I definitely want to do it and am so pleased that everyone else does, so if we can get it booked in, then other hen do and whatever else will just have to fit around it as they aren't organised yet :)

MarshaBrady · 23/11/2014 15:17

Thanks Smile and fab!

So dates, I'm easy.

OneLittleLady · 23/11/2014 15:46

10th of Jan is 2 days before my birthday so there's a good chance I'll be in LDN that weekend anyway if anyone is around for a mini MU coffee date/birthday shopping? Otherwise, I think I'm free any time in Jan, I've nothing in my diary as yet, I just had a look

LinusDKD · 23/11/2014 16:36

Evening!

Sounds like you all had a lovely time at the MU. And novice dropping your bracelet on the floor Shock

Not sure when I'll be in London next year. I probably will come over at some point but at the moment I have no idea when.

I wore one of my old Me&Em dresses from last year today as I wanted something different from skinnies but still comfortable.

LinusDKD · 23/11/2014 16:39

And betty, triplets?

How old are they?

Drywhiteplease · 23/11/2014 17:27

Betty's got triplets Shock? How did I miss that one!!!
Oh, I wish I'd been there, sounded fab.
January is out for me but feb/ March free apart from half term week need plenty of warning but I'll be there may beg a bed

shopafrolic · 23/11/2014 17:41

Feb / March easier for me as shooting season is over.
Dry you're always welcome here unless London is easier
