Have done hair and makeup, put on dress (leather and lace Vanessa Bruno), and threw some nail varnish on toes. Just waiting and hoping that DH and DS come back ON TIME!!!!

Linus - did not know that you lived so close to France. DUH!

Forgot to say, opened bottle of Champagne and am happily sipping away.

Finally on my way! got ready in 20 mins flat after friends left certainly not looking perfect I am wearing a dress which dh erm likes....he seems v pleased I am wearing my big black shapeless coat over it!

my dress has gold in it so 5 of my precious minutes were spent looking for gold jewellery.

I am in a cab on way to 70s themed 40th. I'm wearing a floor-length red polyester dress, with a cape shoulder bit and low neck line, it's very authentic. Got red and gold platforms in my bag and enormous hair, but bit worried it'll flatten out before I arrive.
Going out for dinner first but it's east London so no- one will bat an eyelid!

Have a prosecco for me, I'll probably be on the baby sham

I think my dressing gown may be as flammable as Stokey's outfit since it's bright red fleece (outfit sounds fab btw stokey)

My other Dsis and Dnephew and Dnieces are coming for an hour tomorrow, I've instructed that dsis is not to let the children try and kiss me, I don't want them catching whatever the heck this mutant bug I've got is!
