Shop not sure, can you get someone to do it? I remember seeing a sign at a drycleaner once.

I am trying to decide whether I should highlight my hair again at Aveda. I'm getting it cut on Thursday and nearly all the highlighted ends will be gone, I haven't for so long.

QueenCardigan · 18/11/2014 12:04

shop as one says, the more natural the fabric, the better it will take the dye IME. If it's got polyester in it may go patchy. Also the stitching will not dye. Do the khaki trousers not work if you wear them with a jewel coloured top. I've always quite liked khaki trousers with bright colours.

I forgot to say that my gorgeous, stylish friend had on a lovely dress at the weekend. I tried it on and it looked great so I've ordered it. Will link in a minute...

QueenCardigan · 18/11/2014 12:07

dress. It's a dangerous website as there's lots I like on there. I will wear this on my anniversary weekend with block heeled Mary Janes and a necklace to jazz it up a bit.

shop why aren't you coming to mu...? Sad

AmberNectarine · 18/11/2014 12:42

Ladies, I've done a stupid thing - I am double booked for MU night! My friend is moving to Australia and it's her leaving do - what time are people meeting for MU, don't have to be there til 8 so could maybe pop by for quick drink?

MarshaBrady · 18/11/2014 17:13

I just checked Mara's lovely pm with all the details and it's at 8.30pm

But on that note is anyone turing up early nearby?

MarshaBrady · 18/11/2014 17:13

turning up early

Sleepwhenidie · 18/11/2014 17:17

Mara and I are definitely turning up early for a cocktail or two around the corner Marsha Smile - did we agree a time Confused? I can be there from about 7pm?

Shop SadSadSad you aren't coming...

MarshaBrady · 18/11/2014 17:22

Great Sleep I'm up for that, for sure. I always go out early these days! 7pm is good for me, how about you Mara?

Shop Sad, Amber of course you're welcome to join us early?

Sleepwhenidie · 18/11/2014 17:30

As long as we don't have to tip you into a cab at 9pm Marsha Wink Grin!

Sleepwhenidie · 18/11/2014 17:31

Although to be fair, the time we did have to do that we started on the prosecco at about 1pm Grin!

MarshaBrady · 18/11/2014 17:31

Haha I'll last longer than that by half an hour I'm sure Grin

If I'm going out I'm skipping the bed time routine!

libertychick · 18/11/2014 17:31

I'd like to do cocktails at 7pm too! That means QueenC has to as well Wink

maradesbois · 18/11/2014 18:49

Hello, I'll send another pm round tomorrow about the cocktail meeting place but 7pm is great for me too Smile.

shopafrolic · 18/11/2014 19:59

Sounds like you'll all have a great night x

libertychick · 18/11/2014 20:39

I had a browse around & Other Stories today between meetings.

I bought this sweater I think it's something you would like Shop.

This skirt in both the blue and the silver is gorgeous. Didn't look quite right on me unfortunately.

This jumper looks fantastic but I didn't like the feel of it on. Bit too much MMF.

This faux fur leopard print clutch is great. I'm kicking myself slightly for not just buying it! I had my sensible head on and kept telling myself I wouldn't use it much - but it's only £19 Confused

And - I returned the Ted Baker dress!!! If I kept it I would wear it on Saturday and then I have no other occasion for it in the foreseeable future Sad. Had a quick glance around JL and LOVED this flared leather skirt. I tried it on and the pockets are set a bit too far back and they don't lie completely flat. If I did get it I'd have to get a tailor to sew them up I think....was v v tempted though. Actually I liked a lot of the Somerset by Alice Temperley stuff - on my sales watch list.

Finally tried Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt - it's fantastic. I find it hard to find perfume I really love but this is great. Will definitely be buying it.

QueenCardigan · 18/11/2014 20:54

I'll be there at 7! I had a quick trying on session this evening. It'll deginitely be the navy blouse/black trousers or an old black dress that I always feel great in.

Shame about the Ted baker liberty but you were never quite sure. I like the temperley skirt but seems a lot to pay to then pay extra to get altered?

QueenCardigan · 18/11/2014 21:00

Tried this skirt on today whilst returning the other but whilst it fitted well I didn't really like the pale colour underneath the lace.

libertychick · 18/11/2014 21:05

That's why I didn't just go for it QueenC Smile. And I haven't had a leather item altered before so I'm not sure how it would turn out.

I'm going to wear my TK Maxx bargain dress from a few weeks ago (which I forgot to pin) and the new Hobbs heels.
