QueenC I meant to say earlier that I think that dress is completely fab for you. Perfect - makes up for the skirt?.....

libertychick · 18/11/2014 21:20

Went back to look at your dress QueenC - was on phone earlier and couldn't see it. It's great. I really like the blue print version of it too.

BTW have you seen these block heeled glitter shoes in Next? You may have already - I haven't been keeping up well lately but I saw them in a Next advertisement today and immediately thought of you.

QueenCardigan · 18/11/2014 21:22

Ooh, I hadn't seen those. They're gorgeous!

libertychick · 18/11/2014 21:36

I think you need to get them enabler Smile

I really like this top but £98 for a viscose top???? Am I missing something? can you guess I am looking for things that might work with a flared leather skirt?? Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 18/11/2014 21:43

Yes get them QueenC! They're so you and the dress is too :)

Lib I noticed that leopard clutch on the Stories site the other day and thought it was a bargain! I love it in there. Can't wait for their sale.

Drywhiteplease · 18/11/2014 21:56

Hello all.......MU is sounding exciting. Wish I were coming. Definitely next time. Early doors cocktails Grin looking fwd to hearing about how it all goes.
Shop I only dye cotton and linen. Don't even consider dyeing anything mm.
QueenC I love a "dangerous" website ! Have bookmarked to look at later on.
I don't know what's wrong with me....I haven't bought any clothes for ages, I may have reached saturation point Grin after 40 odd years Shock

Today I saw a woman in a cream fake fur coat, she looked like a very large sheep, nearly wrote off my car Grin

Am currently mother if the year....went to New Look and bought Dd these high waisted party shorts so she doesn't show her pants and this check shirt and this belt , she loves them all. Cute that I get it right occasionally.

libertychick · 18/11/2014 22:01

Grin at the belt and the sheep Dry!!!

I'm feeling so Christmassy ....have been making Christmas mini bunting for my kitchen for the last 2 evenings. May last all week.

libertychick · 18/11/2014 22:13

You should do a lifestyle show dry. Real Housewives of Yorkshire - great Mum, great hostess, great cook, super organised for Christmas, perfect hair and never knowingly underdressed - I'd watch and run around telling everyone I know you Grin

Drywhiteplease · 18/11/2014 22:29

Bloody hell liberty you forgot....looks crap in the morning, shouts at teenaged kids a lot, has a "Monica's" cupboard, terrible driver, irresponsible with money, feeds own kids pizza when cooking posh food for guests...etc etc.......but thank you Smile

BrandyAlexander · 18/11/2014 22:39

Hello Voguettes! Just dropping in for a tired wave. Got home an hour ago. Took out dirty clothes. Airing suitcase overnight. Got clothes ready for next 3 days. Tomorrow, having breakfast with dcs in morning, take them to school then I am off back out of the country!

libertychick · 18/11/2014 22:56

See that all just makes you more believable and lovable Dry!!

Novice you poor love. Hope the next 3 days go well and really hope you can make the MU.

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 18/11/2014 23:02

Take care of yourself Novice

lib I love those shoes you linked for QueenC may have to go and have a look at them myself since the heel is quite low.....

I would watch a show about you too Dry and be very very jealous of your perfect hair

Feeling utterly rotten, have a stinking cold and a chesty cough, am dosed up on beechams and have loads of tissues covered in olbas oil to sniff delicately at.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 18/11/2014 23:08

God novice how do you do it? Hope you have a good night's sleep at least :) and yes really hope you can make it on Sat.

I have just dropped over £1k on potential bridesmaids dresses at the outnet. I think I need to go to bed!!!!! (and will link here sometime after they have been received, tried on and decided upon!)

MarshaBrady · 18/11/2014 23:11

Me too Novice.

Blair that's impressive.

Dry and Shop wish you were joining us.

Sleepwhenidie · 18/11/2014 23:18

Just before I go to sleep, if any of you fancy some new workout gear at bargain prices, Fabletics has an amazing offer on, I just got capris, a yoga bra and slouchy long sleeved tee for £26, free p&p. not sure how long the offer is on for but looks good Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 18/11/2014 23:19

Oh and if you want to set up a referral 'chain' (£10 voucher for friend referral) maybe we could pm between us Wink

Mominatrix · 19/11/2014 06:01

Morning everyone - been quite busy over the past couple days and need to catch up here.

Busy as I was, it certainly is nothing compared to novice!

Thanks for the heads up Sleep on Fabletics. Comes at a perfect time as my favourite running jacket has died, and I need another one. Checked out Sweaty betty and could not believe that a comparable one was about £150 Shock! A lesser one was still £100!

Sounds lovely dry - are they the paper chain short of bunting? I refuse to do anything Christmasy until next Friday - Christmas can wait until AFTER Thanksgiving. Weeelll, I did one very small Christmasy thing and purchased an adorable cloth advent calendar...back in July. Still, presents can wait - as can any decorations. I also really like the outfit you bought DD.

Yesterday was a Meetings day, so wore a Me&Em colour block thin merino jumper (black, camel, cream), JCrew metallic tweed pencil skirt, black colour way Hermes scarf (La Femme aux Semelles du Vent), pistchio and beige Hermes click-clack bracelets, black riding boots.

Today, more casual meetings, so I will wear Vanessa Bruno schoolgirl style pleated dress (navy and black with peter pan collar - can't find photo), OTK boots (better not rain!!!), chartreuse tailored wool Burberry coat (no nova checks to be seen on it), black geometric pattern Hermes enamel bracelet.

Will catch up later. Still fingers crossed for MU - will definitely be able to make it late, but still? about earlier.

bettykt · 19/11/2014 07:15

Morning,

Fabulous sounding outfits Mom tres stylish.

Novice hope the 3 days pass very quickly for you.

Sleep If I order something I'll pm you first. I need some new yoga stuff.

Lib sad but sensible about the Ted Baker dress 'tis lovely but if you can't envisage wearing it loads then it has to be returned.

QueenC loved the dress you bought earlier on.

LinusDKD · 19/11/2014 07:58

Morning!

Glorious day here, finally! Sunshine but very cold so my morning run was lovely.

What running jacket do you wear mom? I recently bought a very lightweight Nike one that you can fold up into a small ball but I think I'll need something a bit warmer for winter.

You have inspired me to wear my Hermès bangles today if I can find them Blush

sleep I still need to pay you for those Palomas! Can you please pm your bank account details? More money to spend on workout gear! Wink

Drywhiteplease · 19/11/2014 08:06

Bridesmaids' dresses sound exciting Blair, another thing to tick off your list.
Novice have a safe trip.
Sleep will have a peek at that website, could do with more cycle shorts ugg...did I really say that on MNV?
Mom alternate red felt (top stitched round the edge with cream embroidery thread, want that home made look) and red and white gingham triangles all roughly hand stitched onto a white ribbon with red embroidery thread. I sound so naff, like Kirstie what's her name? Grin Could buy it but 11m has cost me £12 to make and gives me something to justify watching rubbish on TV

OneLittleLady · 19/11/2014 08:59

Fab sounding outfits mom

Dry the bunting sounds really cute

I'm sat wrapped in my dressing gown feeling sorry for myself. Am going to read some chapters from my text books though so I won't waste the day entirely

MarshaBrady · 19/11/2014 09:28

I should really go on that site Sleep my running shorts are held up by a tied string.

Momin your outfit sounds so lovely.

Dry good one! Is your house finished? Just in time for the Christmas tree!

Linus that sounds really nice, grey here.

maradesbois · 19/11/2014 09:30

Morning,

Am at home enjoying an espresso with dh in a brief interlude between his Novice-like travel schedule. Need to do shred today as won't make it to gym, on level 2 now it's really difficult.

Btw good news, Novice is coming on Sat!

Sleep love the patterned leggings on that site, need some new workout stuff to keep me motivated.

Dry I did laugh this morning at your sheep woman! Very impressed with your bunting, just knew you would be a 'Christmas person' Smile. Had an idea to make a crib scene with ds using a cardboard box, toilet rolls, paint, glitter etc but not done anything about it yet.

Blair wow, that's a hefty amount. Can't wait for links in due course.

Lib I second Betty re TB dress, you did the sensible thing. The top you linked is really pretty but Anthro is very overpriced even in the US. Loads of mmf and not great quality even though the overall look of it is appealing.

Mom great outfits.

Need to go into town later so will be back if anything of interest to report.
