marsha the first present Dp bought me was Jonsi cd and a white chocolate polar bear

One I kinda love those first presents for their innocence. Can anyone else remember?

Cluedo is a brilliant gift Marsha, hope he got you the original one though and not the new one that's all about the footballer in the jacuzzi etc .

Dh used to buy me a cookie nearly every day when we first knew each other, eventually had to tell him to stop due to sugar overload but it was quite sweet.

Yes the original Mara . The new one sounds awful! I don't think we actually played it. Daily cookie sounds lovely too.

I was happy with a gift of a packet of crisps back then- ready salted, walkers of course.

And thinking about it I don't think dh has moved on that much! Gift-wise.

I have to own my expensive habit. Anyway am rambling. Need to try these MiH on at some point.

Oh now I feel a bit bad, I love the watch I have. Which was a gift. Ok really going now!

First gift I recall getting from DH was a very pretty turquoise and silver bracelet.

Fab night with fab friends. Drank fizz all night so feel suprisingly ok.

My first presents from dh included a Harry potter book and a cuddly toy (we'd only been together about 6 weeks) but by the Christmas he'd bought me a necklace which I still love.

The first turquoise box I received I wouldn't have cared if it was empty. I just love the box!

My first present from DH was a ladies gel saddle for me to put on his spare mountain bike...he had reintroduced me to cycling after 20yrs of not getting on a bike by persuading me to accompany him mountain biking - I must have liked him a lot! I moaned so much about the discomfort though that he ordered the saddle - ah the romance!

Sleep dp once ordered me some handwarmers and a hot water bottle as I m always moaning I'm cold. Never let it be said that romance is dead

First Christmas present DH bought me was a purple mulberry Roxanne tote. I was impressed. That said he had already proposed to me a month earlier (after 6 weeks) so I guess he knew I was a keeper! I'm pleased to say he has continued his success rate and judging by the Harvey Nichols delivery that came for him this week he's on course to repeat his success.

The first present DH bought me was a Tissot watch for my birthday. Which was a very generous present seeing as we'd only been together for 2.5 months at that point.

Unfortunately I didn't really like it and only wore it on and off to please him but I have kept it and DD can wear it when she's older.

Love these first presents.

MiH body con are going back. Too much con. Only jokes, they don't look great on.

I took your advice and packed Ralph Lauren slim fit black trousers (skinnies basically), j crew skinnies, 2 shirts (one white Thomas pink and the other pink Zara), a moschinno beige jacket and black hackwick cashmere sweater. I have packed Russell & Bromley ballerinas but am wearing RB bikers. Also wearing black j crew toothpick jeans (skinnies) with white company oatmeal coloured cashmere sweater. I am wearing my john Lewis wool coat which I have had for the last 2 winters and just adore unless winter won't end like in 2013 Packed cannily as I am just doing hand luggage as can't be bothered to wait at other end. Bling is a combo of turquoise and orange boxes

I cannot for the life of me remember what dh's first present to me was! I know I still have it as I am a sentimental hoarder and as well as all the presents have every card he has ever to written me and photos of every bouquet of flowers he's ever given me. It drives him nuts!

I sorted out receipts today . The amount of returns I do is crazy. I am debating a 'no internet shopping' NY resolution.

Hi everyone! Wow, I've had a great weekend. Visitors went really well. Mon the prawn starter with Asian pesto was even better than the scallops. Thank you so much x
Shop I only checked FB an hour or two ago.....your comments were hysterical even DH laughed. And...guess what? My FB campaign has worked and the beard has gone!!!!!!!!!!
liberty I've tried every way of applying foundation and recently bought a brush . Meh...back to using fingers.
Boxes.......I ADORE the beautiful Matches boxes and have all my proper jewellery stored lovingly in a big one.
DH's first Xmas present, bloody hell. he is great with technology and jewellery but goes horribly wrong with fashion. Needs direction.

Me too. I was such a mess by the end of it. Such a powerful film and really love him.

One other film has done that to me recently, Short Term 12. So sad.

I love Matches boxes too, and Lanvin ones, Liberty bags too and have a problem with throwing them out.

OMG if I banned internet shopping that would be like.....well the economy would suffer! however I have just done some rl shopping and bought dn birthday present. Need to use the internet now to get her other presents

I don't remember what dh first present was ,I do remember that 2 weeks after we seriously were dating, he got me a leather Gucci jacket, to replace an old one I lost, it was very thoughtful of him, and still have it, though i dont wear it anymore,but i can never ever give it away,

Leave it to Pierre herme to ruin a wholesome thing like the macaroon, I bought some from selfridges, and just had some really weird ones, pumpkin and corn with real corn WTF!!!! I maybe too mainstream but You won't find these weird combo in Laduree, they did a yummy pepper one last year,didn't check if they did them again this year,

And today I've seen one of those burberry wraps with initials, the initials made me they were LG!
