lovely links mom

novice your outfit sounds utterly fab today, shame about the trains though

linus yay about the paiges

to anyone I've missed

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2014 17:44

I bet One Sad

Momin love those links, I would get the Giambattista Valli if I could.

Linus great news on the leggings.

Blair do you see anything at Matches?

Shop incredible shoes! What a great buy.

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2014 17:46

Sleep I love that Theyskens' Theory dress, but it would be too short on me.

AmberNectarine · 11/11/2014 18:18

No idea what I'll wear to MU. Will do usual trick and wing it on the day.

shopafrolic · 11/11/2014 18:40

I'm with you Amber. I"m going out for drinks with the girls on Friday night, and one of my friend's has just asked me what I'll be wearing - I haven't even considered it yet! Hmm
One hugs for you

LinusDKD · 11/11/2014 19:02

Evening!

blair I got the same Matches code and am very tempted by a DvF dress but I have really no need for it and I still have some Xmas presents to buy so I have to be good.

I showed DH the Paige pleather leggings and he was very impressed Wink

DS started rubbing his hands all over the leggings again when I had put them on to show DH. Hmm

betty I think I'll wear them casual and dressed up but I'll have to play around a bit as this is a bit out of my comfort zone.

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2014 19:09

I'm not sure what I'm wearing to the mu. Does anyone have inside info on the venue, ie the type of stuff people wear?

I am really looking forward to it though!

AmberNectarine · 11/11/2014 19:13

I should just say now that I have a big night out the night before MU, so I may be slightly frail. Hair of the dog should sort me out though.

Sleepwhenidie · 11/11/2014 19:31

Anything goes at the venue we have tables at Marsha, jeans or a cocktail dress, wouldn't stand out Grin

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2014 19:44

Excellent thanks Sleep. I might try and go for something other than skinnies as I wear them so much.

QueenCardigan · 11/11/2014 20:33

amber don't you have a 10k the next day too? I can't believe it's next week!

blair f21 are my faves.

Dh is home. I gave him the best welcome Wink.

Impressed with barbour as my hat arrived this morning. It's love.

Drywhiteplease · 11/11/2014 20:51

Evening all!
I'm having a dress week. Wore Linus's C and P striped yesterday, love it. Today, an old chocolate brown knitted InWear favourite, both with black opaques and my AOS black slippers. Simples!
Went to Whistles looking a wreck in gym kit under enormous padded coat, but I was wearing a fierce lippy Grin and ordered this
Saw this and thought if Blair
Saw this styles with a leather pencil skirt......IT'S LOVE! Darn!

Drywhiteplease · 11/11/2014 20:58

hee hee any one want to look like a yak? Grin Confused Hmm

AmberNectarine · 11/11/2014 21:00

I do QueenC, though will play that by ear due to ongoing foot issues. My DH is out on the razz. I've got my onesie on. Safe to say he will not be receiving a similar welcome.

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2014 21:04

amber feel no shame for the onesie, I am in one of mine too, my polar bear one which has little felt claws on the feet Grin

I really ought to be doing some revision but i've had a crappy day and just can't concentrate on it so i'm drinking tea otherwise known as my lifeblood and mnetting, i haven't even got the energy to bring my own pretty links to the party Sad

AmberNectarine · 11/11/2014 23:01

Mine is a tabby cat. Meow.

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2014 23:04

I really want a black bear onesie but can't find one oh and I'd like a batman one too don't want much do i

I should be going to bed since I have to get up at six but..I am a student and aren't we meant to stay up late and roll in bleary eyed and yawning?!

LinusDKD · 12/11/2014 07:51

Morning!

Wow that is an interesting coat dry. Even the model looks pissed off she has to wear it.

Can I have a mini M&S rant? I finally found a nice onesie that wasn't 100% polyester and whilst it was low stock I decided to order it online.

But when I wanted to check out and had put in my cc details it said it was OOS! Angry

So now I need to stalk their website to see if it comes back in stock again.

Sort out your website M&S, sort it out!

Sleepwhenidie · 12/11/2014 08:03

Yuk what a vile morning, dark and pouring with rain. Incredibly tempted to go back to bed once kids are at school! Dry I can totally see you in that lace cropped top, lovely. £1,500 to look like a yak is quite steep isn't it - any takers for a sweepstake as to how low the price might get? Think they may have gone a bit too edgy (and ££) for Whistles market with that one.

One how are you this morning?

Fedupnagging · 12/11/2014 08:08

Morning all
Having a quick catchup with a coffee before I get up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence re the jacket. I have decided not to ebay it and see how I go. Maybe will wear today with jeans to Aldi.

Blair like everyone else! I like the Next and Forever 21 earrings. Am pretty sure I used to wear giant chandelier earrings back in the day!

Mom I really like your links last night especially the going out top. I may order it.

Queen perfect skirt for you. What will you style it with?

Dry fab bag. perfect to liven up a black outfit.

Enjoyed reading all your lists of wants. Mine is

Underwear (will wait for sales)
Socks (boring)
Poloneck jumper
Another going out blouse
Dress or skirt to dress up or down
Smart black trousers maybe pleather

I had my eye on this skirt and went to order it last night but my size is oos. Should have bought it when I saw it in store but may have just left a wine bar at the time so not thinking straight.

OneLittleLady · 12/11/2014 08:10

I'm...okay, thanks Sleep just not quite sure how I feel and generally still a bit low anyway after being ill

that yak jacket is...well...interesting and I can't really imagine anyone looking less than chubby in it as it's so bulky

Stokey · 12/11/2014 09:52

I really like that skirt Fedup. I was after something similar last year from BR and made the mistake of waiting for the sales, by which time it had sold out. And I think wearing your jacket with jeans to Aldi is a great plan, I actually prefer faux fur downstyled.

Hope you're OK One, tough times. Like the idea of a bear onesie Grin

I just found a load of winter clothes at the back of my wardrobe put away from last year. There were 3 wool/tweed mini skirts and some velvet trousers and black jeans. Feels like a clothes bonus.

Our kettle broke last night though so have to go to Westfield this morning to buy a new one, and may just continue my parka/coat hunt while there.

Do you know you can get smart kettles now? Crazy - you can use your wifi from bed to start it boiling.

(sorry stream of consciousness ramble, this is the problem with not working!)

Sleepwhenidie · 12/11/2014 10:12

One, take care of yourself, cocoon in your onesie, rest, eat well. It's a bit of a weird time of year for lots of people, must be even more so for you with the anniversary, DP being so far away and getting ill on top of that Sad. You'll get through it Flowers.

shopafrolic · 12/11/2014 10:57

Morning all - rotten day weather wise so am starting to do a bit of Christmas shopping. I've just ordered some of these jewellery transfer kits as i think they're really pretty. By The Lanes An extra pack might have fallen in to the basket for me so I may be transferred up when I come to the MU :)

Love it when you find stuff you still like Stokey - like finding £10 in your pocket.
Loving everyone's lists of things they need (but it's making mine longer!)

MarshaBrady · 12/11/2014 11:26

Stokey I'm always in favour of a ramble Grin

I need to go out, it is pouring, should have gone earlier!
