I have no social life at all. I haven't been on a night out, any kind of night out, since last christmas no one invites me to anything now because I can't /don't drink. The only time I have been out past 9pm is when Dp has either taken me to the cinema or we've gone for something to eat or when i've been at A&E but I don't think that counts

one I've not been out in awhile either. I've only recently stopped drinking so hopefully that won't mean I get invited out even less!

Karbea and One I have loads of friends who don't drink, (and gave up myself for a v limited time ),doesn't stop me inviting them out.

Morning all

Fair to say I feel sligjtly jaded this morning, but I had a fun night. Woke up in last night's clothes which probably gives you an idea of how the night panned out... Still, am spending this evening cemented to the sofa for X factor and Strictly catch up marathon.

Morning, got home at 2am and dh's snoring woke me at 6am . Still, had a fab time last night. Four course meal and lots of dancing means I didn't drink much so no hangover. very sore feet though

One, I am really sorry you are feeling like that. I think it says more about your so called friends than you. I too have friends who don't drink and it's not a problem at all. I think you will definitely make new friends at uni who will like you just as you are.

Queen hasn't put in an appearance yet with her Sunday morning links so guess she had a good time last night too!

Woken up with an awful headache which means I've overslept again, really need to invest in an alarm clock I don't actually sleep through! the one on my digital radio and the one on my phone, I just sleep straight through them. When it comes to getting up for uni, I have to rely on either DP or family members to call me until I answer I never used to sleep this heavily so I think it's all the medications combined that do it

I will look into one of those, thanks liberty I'm alright and don't get the headaches if wake up at the right time but if I oversleep even a little, I get the worst headaches and it takes hours for them to clear. No painkiller shifts them either, it's like being in a fog, if that makes any sense?

I had wondered how you all know what suits each other, you have meet ups, that's really nice.
I get headaches if I sleep in late too. I have to be up early every day apart from Sundays, so I sleep in late (9am today) but then feel like I've jet lag on a Monday when I have to get up at 5:20 :/
I'm seriously lusting after some leather trousers, although I guess they might be a bit old hat when I finally can do some shopping, which ones are good? I've some shiny faux leather look leggings from American apparel from years back, which I'll definitely be digging out on the meantime.

Ciao bellas, I lost you for a while. I am in Bologna (in the sunshine, denim shorts, Greek sandals, Wang vest and a scarf). Having a cheeky weekend away with DH. Too many cocktails last night so we are recovering with coffee on a little roof terrace, so peaceful . It's s v stylish city. Managed not to shop yesterday though it was very tempting! (Shopping with DH not much fun however).

Oh I envy you a bit one - I wake if a sparrow lands on my neighbours' roof! Not the headache though. Since I had meningitis last year I get some real bastard headaches (and no, not just when I am hungover).

Sleep! have missed you being around! weekend break sounds lovely. I am recovering slowly, ear is still hugely painful which Im not sure it should be by now but I am at the doctors again this week so will ask them to take another look at it then. It's that wonderful time of the year where I always get ill!!

Oh One I'm sorry you are still suffering and the headache on top - how miserable. I'm going to pm you tomorrow about supplements that may help your immunity a bit. Also I haven't forgotten setting up that meeting.

I never knew amazon delivered on Sundays but my parcel that I missed yesterday has just arrived! He told me they deliver every day except Christmas day which is good to know as I have loads of stuff to order for Christmas

Sorry for the disappointment. I did try but the cut and paste problem was driving me insane. I need to pinch dh ipad again. Unfortunately we're just about to head out and enjoy the nice weather.

Good night last night at friends but my back is killing me after walking there and back in heels. I need some new black flats. If anyone has seen anything nice for evenings out with a round toe (nothing pointy please) then let me know.
