Mine was £48 for a wash, trim and blow dry in Derby. Not particularly high end salon.

£23 for a wet cut in Oxfordshire. Local salon where hairdressers rent a chair.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/10/2014 13:35

38 for cut and blow dry, good salon, East Midlands.

minkah · 08/10/2014 13:37

£75.00 London

CardiffUniversityNetballTeam · 08/10/2014 13:37

£65 for a cut, blow and semi permanent colour glossing.
That's a discounted price because I go on a weekday between 9 and 5.
Berkshire

I'm feeling a little better now that the Southerners have turned up Wine. Get really grumpy at having to go to the hairdressers and fork out a load of money especially when you get home and have to tidy up the scraggy ends yourself

Keep on changing hairdressers for that reason.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/10/2014 13:56

I think 50 in London is good for London.

WolfieChunk · 08/10/2014 14:00

Full colour, haircut and blowdry. £5. Mates rates in Wales Smile

WolfieChunk · 08/10/2014 14:03

Oh and at a good salon (my hairdresser rents the chair)

PrincessOfChina · 08/10/2014 14:09

£110 for highlights, cut and blow dry in Birmingham at a well known brand salon.

I was chatting to my stylist about how they got paid as she's just been promoted and her prices went up. It turns out they get a % of the price depending on their level (stylist, director etc) but if they don't have customers one day their pay never drops below minimum wage.

plumnc · 08/10/2014 14:13

Around £110 for cut/blow/highlights good local salon, Outer London

nipersvest · 08/10/2014 14:26

i pay £22.50 for a dry trim with a senior stylist, east midlands.

FickleByNurture · 08/10/2014 14:37

magical - I have vv long hair which seems to affect the bill. I think it was a salon that was trying to be trendy rather than one that was posh IYSWIM

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 08/10/2014 14:37

I have a hair dresser who comes to the house and does just as good job as any salon I've been too. She charges £15 for me, dh and 2 toddlers. I give her £20 as it doesn't seem enough Grin

Quenelle · 08/10/2014 14:47

£22.50 for a wash, cut and blowdry. It's an independent out of the way salon in a Hertfordshire town centre.

I am so happy to have found it. I used to pay £35+ at the overpriced, trendy chain salon across the square, until they ballsed my hair up six months ago.

SinglePringle · 08/10/2014 14:50

£100 for full head tint, cut and blow dry. Mates rates. London.

RainyLion · 08/10/2014 14:52

£65 for cut, colour & blow dry. At home not salon. Bucks.

Fletchermoss · 08/10/2014 14:53

£48 for a full head of foils in a suburb of Manchester. That was with a 25% discount offer.
