Mine was £48 for a wash, trim and blow dry in Derby. Not particularly high end salon.

eastpoint I'd be really interested in inowing who does it if you're happy with it. I pay that locally and really hate what they've done to my hair.
Is yours long, layered?

Whippet81 · 08/10/2014 21:22

£30 West Midlands celebrity chain - I use a level 1 stylist - goes up to £45 with director.

rockpink · 08/10/2014 21:24

KaeKae try the touch of silver shampoo and conditioner, works wonders.
I paid £35 for a half head highlight colour, perfectly done, gorgeous girl runs her own salon above a gym. North East.

NapoleonsNose · 08/10/2014 21:37

Too tight to pay for a cut and blow dry so always have a dry cut (every 8 weeks) and I pay £23 plus I leave a £2 tip. I think a cut and blow dry is £38 and a restyle an extra fiver in top. This is in Cornwall.

Mintyy · 08/10/2014 21:45

How awesome your life is Eastpoint!

fluffydressinggown · 08/10/2014 21:47

£33 Yorkshire

KittyB52 · 08/10/2014 21:47

Had my hair cut today, £54 for a cut and blow dry in Cheshire. I love the salon, the stylists are all glamorous young things clad in black Grin but they are very friendly, and I am always pleased with my haircut.

Solaia · 08/10/2014 22:02

Minkah it was good thanks! Was for a special occasion and was at Richard Ward in Sloane Square. To get Richard himself is £300 and a six-week wait...

Solaia · 08/10/2014 22:05

Ps I actually didn't tip at all as had no cash with me but the person next to me tipped the hair washer (so not even the actual hair dresser!) a tenner. I would have happily washed her hair for £10. No idea what she tipped the hairdresser! It was all a bit showy offy though

FickleByNurture · 08/10/2014 22:10

Did nobody notice that someone spent £375? petitdonkey was the one that made me Shock

MajesticWhine · 08/10/2014 22:16

I think around £75 for a cut and blow dry in London. I normally spend £40, but just wandered into some fancy-pants salon.

MirandaWest · 08/10/2014 22:17

£30 for cut and blow dry in a village in Yorkshire.

polyhymnia · 08/10/2014 22:21

Same as petitdonkey.

NotMNRoyalty · 08/10/2014 22:28

Very Posh London hairdressers
10 for dye including lowlights and highlights
10 for a cut
10 tip

It was done by a trainee. Wink She took ages but the result was excellent. I got treated as well as any customer and the trainee was well supervised.

foxdongle · 08/10/2014 22:31

East midlands- highlights cut and blow dry £40. She does a fab job of it too.
My friend gets the same for £25, but it's half an hour drive and £5 parking-I cba.

polyhymnia · 08/10/2014 22:31

Central London

MindReader · 08/10/2014 22:35

£9 for a wet cut.
£19 for wash cut and blowdry.

Scotland.

MollyBdenum · 08/10/2014 22:36

£6.20 for a restyle (collar bone length a line messy bob) at a training salon. It took two and a half hours, though.

motherofluvlies · 08/10/2014 22:42

motherofluvlies · 08/10/2014 22:43

Forgot to say colchester Essex

ilovevenice · 08/10/2014 23:53

£19 + £3 tip yesterday for wash, trim and blow dry in - wait for it - Kensington!
[My hair is long and straight and very straightforward]

itsbetterthanabox · 09/10/2014 00:27

I had a wash, restyle cut and finish for £35. If I get a wash, normal cut/trim and finish it's which I usually do it's £25 and fringe trims are free.
It's a nice salon in Hampshire I go to. I see the cheapest stylist. If I saw the more expensive stylists it would be loads!

singaporeswing · 09/10/2014 04:54

Equivalent of 46 quid at an expat salon in Singapore for a cut and blowdry.
