I've got that exact hat Awks. And the grey version as well. I do get cold ears.

My £500 item is Stuart Weitzman OTKs - a snip at £435 . I'm actually going to hit the button on them this week - YAY!

santamarianovella · 29/09/2014 10:04

maradesbois · 29/09/2014 10:14

On way to airport. Wearing new ts Leigh dark indigo skinnies, white I&I tee, new kew stripey cashmere jumper, cobalt tod's & Birkin.

Last night I nearly clicked on some burgundy Acne colts on MW with the WIT 25% off but sat on hands. Need to save plus am heading to a shopping Mecca.

Awks love the hat, looks so soft.

santamarianovella · 29/09/2014 14:15

cutest little bag ever

Karbea · 29/09/2014 18:54

Do you think those kind of beanie hats suit everyone? I've only ever worn them skiing of for fireworks, so never invested in a nice one. I'd really like one, but fear I'd look stupid. As I'm petite I always worry I'll look like a 40 year old child :/

LinusDKD · 29/09/2014 19:22

Mmm, beanie hats are difficult for me as well, especially when I have my hair in a ponytail. I look a bit like an egg. Sad

Now that we have a Cos store I will have a look at their scarves as I remember lusting after one last winter when some MNVoguettes bought one.

That little Chloé bag is gorgeous santa and I love those denim shorts.

mara hope you have a great time despite the flight woes.

No fashion news from me as I am trying to be good and not buy anything before I go to NY. I am saving myself for a big shopping spree over there...

I did try on an IM Etoile slogan sweater (Revolution) a couple of dags ago but whilst the colour was lovely, I was not convinced the style suited me.

I did see a nice one at Esprit today which was a lot less £££ but I didn't try it on. Will try and find a link.

Awks · 29/09/2014 21:35

Being a beanie hat expert I can explain. It's all in the length of the beanie :) The hat needs to be able to be turned over at the brim AND stand up a bit at the peak - so it looks like a bobble hat, sans bobble. It also has to be loose.

If the beanie is tight and short then you look like someone who works in a hand car wash.

Drywhiteplease · 29/09/2014 21:41

Grin Awks so that's the secret! I always look like a hamster.
I love a beret, think they look so chic with a bob, I have one but have never had the guts to wear it in public.
I can do occasion hats, and love them a lot, but struggle with casual hats.

Awks · 29/09/2014 21:47

Drywhite, I'm sure you don't at all and you should just wear the beret. Next time it's cold just say fuckit and put it on your head, bet it looks great.

Linus that sweatshirt is lovely, wish it was in stronger colours, a plum or something.

Karbea · 29/09/2014 21:51

I'm the same, happy to wear them at weddings etc. I'd love to wear more hats.
Although I've much bigger holes in my wardrobe to worry about really.

OneLittleLady · 29/09/2014 21:55

I love wearing hats, slouchy ones, beanies, silly animal hats. I look good in cloche hats especially but other people have said I look good in every hat they've ever seen me in. I do like hats

Awks · 29/09/2014 21:57

Cos is a very bizarre shop though I think. Full of stuff no one would EVER buy, I can imagine them all in a massive warehouse somewhere, discussing where all the polyester orange stuff will sell best.

It's like olives - I know it's quite cool to like olives yes still I don't really like them.

Awks · 29/09/2014 21:59

I mean man alive

Awks · 29/09/2014 22:03

Tried this on at the weekend and haven't made my mind up. Does anyone have an opinion?

OneLittleLady · 29/09/2014 22:17

that roll neck is awful Awks i like the jacket you've tried though, might go have a nosey and see if our RI has it, just to try on though i suspect that one might not be quite fitted enough in the waist and have sleeves that are much too long for me
