We're open for business! Everything from M&S to Manolo, Topshop to Tod's and H&M to Hermès. Wink

isn't it horrible? Cos is a bit try-hardy sometimes. It needs to chill a bit imho and remember that women and not ironing boards are buying the clothes.
Re the jacket it was quite fitted so might suit you but the sleeves fit me and I am 5'8 so they might well drown you.

Drywhiteplease · 29/09/2014 22:49

COS modes always look a bit droopy, miserable, pasty and like they need a good blow dry and a drink to me. A lot like Zara models too actually. Grin useful contribution

awks no chance the sleeves will be right on me then, I'm only 4' 11'' Blush i have tiny child length arms (shame about the wings on them though ahem)

Morning!

I am going to be contrary and say I like that Cos roll neck. The colour would be all wrong on me but I like the style. I can imagine it being worn with a tweed skirt in an Agatha Christie kind of way.

I had another look today at the pink Esprit sweatshirt in the shop and that one says 'muse' instead of 'hugs' like the grey one. Even more tempted now. Wink

Pretty dreary weather here today so I am wearing my Asos striped jumper, Jimmies and red patent Henrietta ballet flats.

They are so comfy I might have to order a black pair as my search for black flats is not going well. Bring back the rounded toe on flats please!

I keep wearing my a/w outfits regardless. I can't go back , I'm going to boil today. So warm.

Stokey · 30/09/2014 10:23

I know what you mean Marsha - I've gone halfway today, J-crew pencil, brogues thin tights, Gap silk shirt & Zara jacket, but am hot. I'd have felt naked without the jacket though, and can't go back to bare legs.

Can you link the Henrietta flats Linus? Would they work in winter? I'm still after the ideal flats but don't know what I want. It may be loafers...

I also don't mind the roll-neck though can't do that colour. I'm thinking midi-skirt and roll-neck could work?

Love your beanie Awks. I lost mine at the end of last winter - it had a bobble though Blush

AmberNectarine · 30/09/2014 10:59

dry, if it's my blog you're referring to, I've just posted.

LinusDKD · 30/09/2014 11:15

stokey these are the ballet flats but mine are red and I bought them half price last year (from AR I think)

They are really classic and not everyone's cup of tea but they just suit my feet.

Thanks Linus

French Sole ones are gorgeous and bargain for half price.

Morning! Jet lag nightmare.Hmm

It's hot here so have eked out a couple more wears of summer dresses at least!

I loved my travelling outfit. Pink t-shirt from Debenhams (think I wore to last MU?), white company cashmere jumper for when it got cold, children skinny leggings from Gap (so comfortable!!!) and my children RB quilted ballet flats.Grin They look like these ones but without the shiny leather bit on top. (Sorry Karbea just can't find the actual ones!!).

maradesbois · 30/09/2014 14:04

Afternoon,

Am v hot too Novice, 37 degrees outside here then aircon on full blast indoors. Can feel it making me ill already despite taking wraps everywhere to be donned and shredded accordingly.

Linus I agree with you re round-toed flats, have no desire for pointy ones either but think they are just a passing fad. R&B, repetto, pretty ballerinas are some brands that spring to mind. I have ferragamo black patent ones that are fab. Also my aunt had a lovely navy pair the other day that were from M&S surprisingly.

Have so much free time on my hands but not struggling to fill it, is a very welcome change. Been to see lots of contemporary art & have my eye on something I've liked for a few years. Just got price through from gallery & it's about what I estimate a Birkin costs so won't be coming home in my suitcase but may be one to save for.

Topazandpearl · 30/09/2014 20:05

I hope you recover from the jet lag quickly Novice. Your outfit sounds great.

I like those ballet flats Linus but I also like pointy ones.

I hope you are enjoying the rest Mara.

Had an email from Whistles to say my dress is oos Hmm so I have ordered the next size. They have said that will try for my size in store so fingers crossed that I get one that fits. The coat has been dispatched.

Drywhiteplease · 30/09/2014 20:05

Ooooh thanks Amber!!!
Jack Wills (I boycotted for ages because DD was obsessed a couple of years ago and I assumed it was over priced rip off) has actually got some good quality stuff. Great post.
