My weakness is scarves - I have about 50 although do need to cull and knitwear. Have loads of jumpers and very few blouses/shirts.

Colour wise, like Marsha, I buy way too much blue and have done for about 12months. Think I need to find another colour - probably grey!

Fedupnagging · 28/09/2014 19:27

Aagh, forgot to say, love the dress and coat Topaz.

Crickey What, that is a huge amount of jeans! Oh and gorgeous bag.

Dry that is a fab clutch. Did Mara look at that a while back? I have a similar looking one - from Boden!

OneLittleLady · 28/09/2014 19:34

Tees, definitely tees and vests. I have three drawers full of them Blush i'm also partial to buying dresses

Lovely dress and coat topaz

LinusDKD · 28/09/2014 20:10

Tees for me too one, I just buy loads when I find a style that suit me.

I've got a Valorie dry (but of course) - a pink one. It is lovely - that colour looks fab for a night out!

WhattoWearNow · 28/09/2014 20:32

It's interesting hearing what everyone's weaknesses are. Imagine them all combined for a MNV wardrobe - I think we would have most garments covered!! Still it's made me realise I need to prune my jeans collection once again. Though I would love to know how many pairs Donna Ida has.....

QueenCardigan · 28/09/2014 20:50

Ooh, I'm having so much fun need to get a life. I've started secretly pinning our red carpet looks. All will be revealed next Sunday Grin. Im drooling over so many nice dresses although some of you (Amber, marsha, dry) have me stumped to as whether you'd go full length or buck the trend. Don't tell me though!

OneLittleLady · 28/09/2014 20:51

I'm excited to see what you come up with QueenC

Drywhiteplease · 28/09/2014 20:52

What...cheap crap Grin ESP shoes. My time on MNV is curing me of this and I'm now trying very hard to buy fewer quality items.

Well, I love my new Whistles courts (think they're called "French") and now need a couple of sleeveless tops to wear for evening, sparkly one would be fab, something like Amber and queenc's did Shop get it too? Coast one from last autumn I know it had sleeves

LinusDKD · 28/09/2014 20:54

Red carpet looks? Did I miss something queenc?

shopafrolic · 28/09/2014 21:19

Evening all. Fab family day out with my boys today, so much fun.
Have loved the £500 links - funny how hard it is to spend that on one item, when I could easily spend £1k on one IYSWIM
Good to see What.
In terms of weaknesses.... Ballet flats (when I rarely wear them), scarves, denim and red and white Bretons!

libertychick · 28/09/2014 21:20

Oh I can't wait to see them QueenC

My weakness is jumpers and silk shirts. And I am also buying lots of blue

shopafrolic · 28/09/2014 21:20

QueenC I CANNOT wait to see the red carpet looks you've picked for us. Love your links.

santamarianovella · 28/09/2014 21:25

I feel lost, who is going to the red carpet?

QueenCardigan · 28/09/2014 21:25

linus I struggled with the £500 limit this week so I've decided to go all out and dress up for the red carpet. I'll link everything next week.

QueenCardigan · 28/09/2014 21:27

We all are santa Grin. Next Sunday morning.

shop you're intriguing me too. Not sure yet what I can see you in on the red carpet....

LinusDKD · 28/09/2014 21:29

Oh I get it now queenc! Can't wait for the links.

Loved the shirt you linked this morning for me btw.

Make mine a Dior couture one queen no bling ,novice can have mine Grin
I really struggled with £500 limit, everything I like needed extra change from all of you Grin
My weakness is jackets and cashmere can never have enough,

We went apple picking today( loads of fun) and now I have two big boxes filled with apples, and I have no idea what to do with them even if I baked cakes and tarts, still have loads left,

LinusDKD · 28/09/2014 21:53

Apple sauce to freeze?

We also went apple picking last weekend and had lots of fun. Apples straight from the tree are just the best.

Bonsoir Voguettes,

What a day, my bloody Air France flight was cancelled so no champagne and other business class frivolity Sad. Was considering cancelling trip altogether as they couldn't change me to anything that suited then I decided no, have bought a red carpet worthy dress so am damn well going to the party! Managed to get another flight booked for tomorrow from local airport (coucou Linus Smile ) & economy ticket was surprisingly good value for last minute buy so upshot is I still have my few days away with dh, yay!

Dry love your black courts and the story of how you parted with one of them.

Liberty hope you're feeling better. My fantasy £500 would go on Chanel ballet flats in beige. Think they are about 450 so will donate my change to whoever it was who was after something ££££.

Whatto wow at the number of jeans. I love buying clutches, cpw is not great but love them. Have 3 in my suitcase for 3 nights away; new gold dvf envelope, wang prisma & black gucci pouch from years ago.

QueenC intrigued about your red carpet styling, can't wait!

maradesbois · 28/09/2014 22:09

Topaz forgot to say love the dress, think it will really suit your colouring.

Drywhiteplease · 28/09/2014 22:22

Tipaz I bought a Bella dress
Sat year,it's a great style, v flattering.....love yours think there are a few Bellas on MNV , is that another MNV staple

Ooooh Queenc can't wait for my dress.........think......you know me well now...........Hmm.... Won't give you any clues......but it's soooooo tempting.

Amber I think a pink Valorie would be incredible .

Mara hope you have a good trip

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 28/09/2014 22:44

No pressure QueenC but I'd love to see if you can find anything for me for the red carpet, as next Sunday will be the day after my first trying on of some floor length gowns Wink

Awks · 28/09/2014 22:45

I am beside myself today - been to Amsterdam for the weekend and spent most of yesterday looking for the perfect beanie hat for Winter. I know that is tragic but you know when you have time and know EXACTLY what you want? I found it here but it's in a lovely berry shade. And it comes in a little dustbag too - how cute is that?

Love your £500 links too - mine would be a tailored grey or navy wool/silk mix blazer, with a bright lining and made to measure. I know I could get one for £500 in Leeds and I'd wear it forever.

Sleepwhenidie · 29/09/2014 07:56

Like Santa my weakness is cashmere, especially grey Smile

£500 item...will look today. We've had a houseful of kids all weekend, my DNiece and nephew stayed while my DSis went to a wedding. It's going to seem very quiet at 9 when everyone leaves!
