Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 22:31

santamarianovella · 04/10/2014 22:33

Oh Christmas is in the air!
I will miss Christmas in London, we will spend Christmas in Germany, still didnt look into any events for the dcs Blush,

liberty I went to get some things from ikea last week and was totally amazed by the new Hurdal cabinets, so rustic,so un ikea ,so Freakin amazing!

Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 22:36

nice clutch???leather too

OneLittleLady · 04/10/2014 22:38

I have already bought dozens of christmas presents Blush I have a big family!

My hair has got so long, i think it is meant to be due for a trim but I can't see any split ends and the layers are sitting fine so I might leave it a while yet, I'm glad I listened to my sister insisting I should grow it out from the inverted bob I had, it looks much softer and is a lot nicer to have the choice of styles with the length

bettykt · 04/10/2014 22:46

Lovely top Dry I'm looking for something similar to wear with my pleather shirt.

Liberty Ikea is a shop I really have to psyche myself up for. Although I put dc in the creche, they love it. I'm due a visit soon but the thought of it puts me off. Dc loves all things Julia Donaldson and saw The Gruffalo last year at the theatre.

Novice great magazine, some little shit kid in dc school said that Santa isn't real, announced it to the whole class, I could have lynched him Angry arghhh I think I've managed to convince otherwise but that seed has now been planted......

I bought my panto tickets in July Blush I have to otherwise by the time I get round to it they are all sold out or only have the crappy seat left.

Back to fashion new I've found my leopard print pointy flats here from Aldo they're quite cheap so I hope they are okay. I feel I'm turning into Bet Lynch with my love of leopard print. have stuck strictly to shoes and LV stole although I resisted putting this in my trolley when i popped in for a pint of milk Grin

Fedup my cheap H&M vests have a very low CPW I wear them a lot, rotated 5 of them this summer.

maradesbois · 04/10/2014 23:00

Evening,

Was just going to have a v quick browse through the thread but got drawn in with talk of vintage Dior couture, Stick Man and Christmas!

Texan wow and welcome.

Santa Germany does Christmas so well, the markets, decorations etc, you'll have a great time.

Liberty great to see you back.

Blair can't wait to hear how your dress appointments went.

Fedup tk maxx haul sounds great.

Marsha gorgeous Marant buys, so you & glad you got the right blazer.

Linus I laughed reading your outfit description of yesterday as I was almost identical, ts jeans, Ralph Lauren shirt with badge thing & suede tod's. Nothing wrong with a bit of preppy!

Sorry to anyone I missed, am still exhausted from my trip.

Took ds into town today, park and winter clothes shopping for him. Still about 26 degrees here in the afternoon, was boiling in my pistols.

AmberNectarine · 05/10/2014 07:39

Well, I bought my black pistols in a matches sample sale for £36. One of them needed resoling so that cost me a tenner but they were good as new otherwise! So they've been a pretty good investment...

Couple of buys to report these boots in dark cherry, channelling dry with these and awaiting the arrival of this little number.

QueenCardigan · 05/10/2014 08:01

Morning. I'm so tired hungover but I need to drag myself out of bed to get ready for church (brownies and beavers harvest festival). So I'm afraid there's no Sunday morning links but I will be back later to showcase your red carpet outfits.

It's been such a busy weekend with the dc birthday party and then I was out again last night. Wore my black wrap dress and tights as it felt so chilly.

Can't believe you're all talkng about Christmas! I can vaguely think about it now that I have the dc birthdays out of the way. So far they all still seem to believe in Father Christmas despite the eldest being 9 and 7.

Catch you laters.

shopafrolic · 05/10/2014 08:26

Morning all. No talk of Christmas allowed in our house till after my birthday!
Yes, StickMan last year was amazing. DS loved it.
We booked a Christmas Day out with Thomas yesterday. Lib your DD would love it? Shout if you want me to email you the link.
Absolutely freezing here.
Marsha for a minute I thought I'd missed the Outnet clearance and £20 cashmere Shock

LinusDKD · 05/10/2014 08:44

No Sunday morning links?!

Only kidding, I have been up for a while and have even been for a run.

I have been pinning some ideas for Christmas presents but haven't bought any yet. I think I'll buy some in NY as I like to get my shopping done waaay in advance.

santa Germany should be fun for Christmas, they take it nearly as seriously as the Brits. Wink

Stokey · 05/10/2014 08:56

I can't begin to think about Christmas yet, but we were taking about kids pantos yesterday. We've done Room on the Broom and Monkey Puzzle for the Julia D ones, both great. I think we're going for the Little Angel theatre this year, they do very cute puppet shows and Dd2 is nearly old enough.

Liberty do you work on a laptop at home? I was getting really bad back ache at the start of the year, and one thing that made a big difference was putting my laptop on a book to raise it to eye height and using a separate keyboard so you're not hunching over.

Love your burgundy boot buys Amber. I think I'd like some but non-suede, looking at my suede Addidas boots trashed yesterday in the rain.

Drywhiteplease · 05/10/2014 09:03

Chuckling at being channelled by anyone on MNV ...great way to start a Sunday still in bed, pjs, huge fleecy dressing gown, glasses, no make up, hair bit birds nest...I'm doing sexyGrin .....but give me an hour.

Betty show your cd the Polar Express bit scary in parts anyone who says FC doesn't exist obviously hasn't seen this bastards

Novice in many ways....I didn't mention my latest trip to Lakeland and v exciting Pampered Chef purchase DH was Hmm do we really need that?

Well....autumn has arrived. So:

Changing tan bag for black
Have purchased new dark burgundy nail varnish Friday night's grey is making me feel a bit grey really rate No7 gel look, lovely wide brush, goes on a dream, not too ££££, nice colours.
Am liking the ombré nails a lot
Have polished all leather boots
Have a few going out outfits sorted

I'm readyGrin

BrandyAlexander · 05/10/2014 09:22

Morning! It's 4 degrees this morning! Cashmere sweater I think when I eventually get up. Normally we are out of the house by now but taking it easy-ish this weekend as still quite tired. We have a family catch up today today which will be great but it's never brief!

Dry, I was doing the laundry last night and humming to myself as I paired up the socks using the Lakeland socksmate then put the Lakeland wash balls on top. As I finished my routine with the soap, vanish, softener and calgon I was strangely happy.Blush Not to mention my absolute new favourite purchase (this is joint with the Hermes watch!) bliss in between hoovers. Grin

AmberNectarine · 05/10/2014 09:27

I am under the duvet on the sofa wearing a band tee, leggings and socks with badgers on so neither of us is exactly the queen dry.

Drywhiteplease · 05/10/2014 09:28

Taking it easy Novice Shock you feeling ok?Grin
Love the sweeper. Ok,ok I know you're desperate to know Lakeland purchase makes cleaning wood floor a breeze Grin and another e cloth , you just can't have too many of those, incredible on granite work tops.

Confused should I be on "House cleaning" thread ?

Of course, like linus, I do all my house work wearing v expensive heels!

Off do do something sensible...have a good day all.

Fedupnagging · 05/10/2014 09:35

Ha ha Dry I am channelling you at the moment. #looking gorgeous!!

Queen, you have no idea idea how much I was looking forward to your links whilst slurping my coffee! Will be popping back later definitely. Hope you start to feel more human soon.

Am so Envy of you all booking Christmas pantomimes and plays with your dc's. We used to take our ds's to the theatre a lot and a panto every Christmas - usually Boxing Day but they are too old now and not interested.

Am impressed with the Mango links and really like the top Dry. Mango seemed to have upped their game lately. What is the quality like?

I went back to playing my sport last week after a year out due to injury (when I say play, I obviously mean run around a bit, laughing followed by the pub) and imagine my horror when I noticed a hole in my trainers Blush. So, I need a new pair of reasonably priced trainers. I do find buying trainers soooo boring.

Off to walk the dog and watch ds3 play football but it's a gorgeous morning so don't mind.

shopafrolic · 05/10/2014 10:02

Off to a steam railway museum today. Wearing GAP skinnies, vest (!), black crew neck GAP merino sweater and a pair of LKB flat knee high boots (not sure if they look dated).
Have a lovely day all x

Drywhiteplease · 05/10/2014 10:03

Fedup never bought from them before. Will report back. Trainer buying sucks, I agree apart from fashion trainers

AmberNectarine · 05/10/2014 10:18

When is the MU? 22? Have just realised I am running a 10k the next day. Won't stop me coming, I just may need to go a little easy on the fizz...

OneLittleLady · 05/10/2014 11:14

I am definitely the most glamorous of us all right now. Marvel Comics leggings, green vest top and a grey checked poncho Grin

i forgot about the MU, need to book train tickets!

QueenCardigan · 05/10/2014 13:45

I'm about to get changed into my swest pants and fleece and spend the afternoon on the sofa with my ipad. Just need to quickly choose some shoes and jewellery for your outfits....

libertychick · 05/10/2014 14:03

Yes 22nd Nov is MU Amber. We need to sort a venue...

QueenC I can't wait Smile

MarshaBrady · 05/10/2014 14:05
