nothing even remotely glamorous going on here, got hair dye on and really need to do some reading but I can't help but wish I was going out tonight instead of being stuck in the flat yet again

libertychick · 04/10/2014 19:06

Count yourself lucky one. You could be with me - in IKEA Grin

It's great to hear all your value for money purchases.

Am looking very glamorous in an old boden jumper and Nike yoga pants watching strictly and eating cheese and biscuits. Don't envy you being in IKEA on a sat eve Lib although it's probably a pretty good time to go.

Have ordered a pair of ponyskin slipper shoes and will link if they fit.

MarshaBrady · 04/10/2014 20:09

Lib Ikea, you're brave!

Linus yes love E Alt style, for some reason my blazer makes me want the right style Alt boots.

Fedup probably a charity Yohji jacket for £

Texan welcome, amazing wedding outfits

I have been out enough lately, need a break. So I'm home tonight not doing much at all.

Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 20:16

Will fight linus and QueenC for Darcy's teal dress tonight you'll both love it...stunning...so me!!!

MarshaBrady · 04/10/2014 20:18

santamarianovella · 04/10/2014 20:45

queen hope dd is better today,

marsha gorgeous marant blazer, love the tartan scarf a lot, you beat me to it !

texan welcome, your dress sounds amazing! Wow, that's a piece of history there,

dry I'm on a mini fashion diet too, detoxing till the end of the month Wink

fedup good question, my cheapest things are mostly stuff I pick on holidays, I have a gladiator sandals bought from one of those stalls in Italy that make sandals for you on the spot, it cost like €40 ,not very cheap ,but its so well made and still looks great after wearing them every summer for the past 2 years, wish i bought more ,
also bought a petit bateau dress picked from the clearance rack for around €35 this summer and I've worn it over a dozen time, CPW must be down to nothing now,

shopafrolic · 04/10/2014 20:55

This time next week I could be confirmed as a Winter. Log fire blazing, Strictly on Sky+, wine poured. Lovely. Have great weekends all.

Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 21:08

Didn't realise how many SCD fans were on here. De brief tomorrow. I've always had a soft spot for Pasha, would love to rumba with him Wink

MarshaBrady · 04/10/2014 21:18

I wasn't going to watch it this time, but I wanted to see what you were all talking about. Some of the professional dancers are incredible.

Santa I know! I wore both today, it was chilly and so nice to have a/w all ready to go as it switches.

It was such an impulsive thing to do. I had a long meeting, felt a bit yuck. Got to Shoreditch early, sat outside Aime too hot asked for any summer type stuff. Half hour later, chilly bought scarf and blazer!

Shop big news awaits.

Oh I forgot the three I&I jumpers for £20 each. That was great fun that outnet clearance.

Fedupnagging · 04/10/2014 21:23

How good was that guy from Eastenders? Wow! Yes love Darcy's dress but she always looks gorgeous whatever she wears and much prefer Claudia with the heavy eyeliner.

Have decided to have a wander over to the Asos site - haven't looked for ages as always get fed up trawling through thousands of clothes but there are so e fab bargains apparently.

BrandyAlexander · 04/10/2014 21:30

Hello! Hello TexanSmile

Shop sounds lovely! I think the last week has just caught up with me. Dh has been working like a Trojan so we're both shattered. I think our weekend is a non-weekend.

I wore my 7 for all mankind jeans again today with my pink Abercrombie top. They are lovely jeans though I think 25 is slightly snug and 26 is too loose. V annoying!

I have a new lust. I want a long sleeved jumpsuit either in cream or black. Oh and petite as well.

BrandyAlexander · 04/10/2014 21:32

I have a confession.Blush I bought my annual Christmas decorating magazine today.BlushBlushBlush I have no idea why!

libertychick · 04/10/2014 21:45

Home from Ikea. I had DD with me too - bless her, she was an angel in a v v long queue for the checkout. Got home and got her to bed and then assembled what I went for - a decent office style chair. My back and neck have been so sore working in all the random parts of the house so I now have a proper little desk with a proper chair. I can almost hear my spine cheering.

Novice Christmas decorating magazine??? I have never even heard of such a thing. Where do you get them? I booked my Christmas theatre events for me and DD today - Stick Man in Leicester Sq, a local theatre xmas songs and carols session and Panto.

Glass of wine for me now then bed.

BrandyAlexander · 04/10/2014 21:58

Blimey you're brave!

I booked panto about 3 months agoBlush plus something at the Unicorn theatre. Didn't know about stick man, they love that book, so will check it out. Haven't booked a singalong yet but that's also on list.

this is the Christmas mag, I buy it plus the ideal home one and one other every year. Usually late November though!!

Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 22:06

Hasn't Shop seen Stickman?

Just bought this in burgundy to wear with black skinnies and leather skirt tucked in. Would rather it were silk but love the colour and style.

libertychick · 04/10/2014 22:14

Yes Shop took her DS to StickMan last year and it sounded great. DD loves the book too.

Dry for some reason links to the Mango site never work for me. Have you pinned it?

libertychick · 04/10/2014 22:15

Thanks for the magazine link Novice looks great. I'm quite excited about Christmas this year. I think DD is exactly the right age to absolutely love it Smile

BrandyAlexander · 04/10/2014 22:20

Lib, I got the magazine from M&S (where I had yet another frustrating clothing experience. A couple of things I quite liked. Nothing in my size and can't find it online.Hmm).

Dry, love love love that top!

Drywhiteplease · 04/10/2014 22:27
