for novice. I don't think you own anything in this colour?

QueenCardigan · 14/09/2014 09:26

weird

QueenCardigan · 14/09/2014 09:28

more cute shoes

QueenCardigan · 14/09/2014 09:31

bin bag skirt anyone?

Drywhiteplease · 14/09/2014 09:43

Ahhhh QueenC that bin bag skirt reminds me of the ASOS leather skirt disaster. Love your Sunday morning links.
Right, next on leather skirt hit list:
mango
Reiss
Hobbs
Zara, looks a bit long
This time, however, I'm going retro and am going to actual SHOPS to try on rather than online because I just can't keep up with all of the returns.
Would love the Zara one to work as now fancy saving up for a chaise longue for my bedroom, as you do, so I can swoon and recline in dramatic fashion when I'm exhausted at choosing which pair of shoes to wear Grin

QueenCardigan · 14/09/2014 09:48

Fingers crossed dry. Chaise lounges are great. I want one too now!

Fedupnagging · 14/09/2014 10:04

Thanks for all those weird and wonderful links Queen

Hair looked fine last night. Not so the facial bruising that decided to come out several days after some rather painful dental treatment Hmm. Anyway, we had a lovely meal, lots of wine and laughed loads.

Our hotel is next to Harvey Nics so when dh finally stops snoring wakes up, that is where I intend to go.

I need silver or pewter shoes to go with a full length cocktail dress and can't find any that I like. Quite like these but too high.

Like the look but again too high and too ££ for shoes I probably won't wear very often.

Better heel height and good colour but not keen. I have looked for hours. Maybe I am being too fussy....

Fedupnagging · 14/09/2014 10:35

I thought you had already tried the Hobbs skirt Dry? Good luck with the next haul.

Wandering round the Zara site, I found some more gorgeous shoes but
Too high although love the style and would probably wear this style with trousers.

These would go, weirdly. Too high though.

Perfect colour but too high.

Think I need to lower, quite literally, my expectations! A 3" heel is the maximum height I can walk, dance get pissed in without falling over.

OneLittleLady · 14/09/2014 10:41

QueenC that absolutely looks like a bin bag! it's vile!

Dry chaise longue sounds good, Dp's mum has one in the room most used and it is always cleared for me to lounge prettily on when we go round Grin

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 12:41

That bin bag skirt and those broken shoes! I just need a top now. Wink

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 12:43

Fedup those shoes are pretty. I go for 8cm these days rather than 10cm and always check too.

I was out last night living it up and saw some really good style. Really good, not ott but individual and good. Just so, iykwim.

shopafrolic · 14/09/2014 13:02

You can't leave it there Marsha I need details - what did you wear? What did they wear?

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 14/09/2014 13:03

Details marsha don't leave us hanging!!

No style from me today, I'm in my star wars pjs and my hairs in a top knot. Just sorting out what I need to take with me tomorrow for enrollment, I'm so so nervous!

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 14:15

Hard to capture. Laid back luxe Wink - a red dress but not overly fitted, print, mixed up, good hair. Shop I wore skinnies, P Lim jumper and grey suede Rossis. But I really would love a dress. Something easy to wear but looks good.

One you'll be fine! Don't forget to have fun.

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 15:39

I've ordered the grey shearling-lined pistols eep.

I could happily buy just navy and grey stuff for a while. I'd like

  • grey skinnies
  • navy jumper
  • navy scarf
  • grey jumper

And maybe some tartan.

Sleepwhenidie · 14/09/2014 17:07

Ooh Marsha Envy re pistols...on my wish list. Along with a woolrich coat this winter....

Sleepwhenidie · 14/09/2014 17:08

One we will be thinking if you tomorrow, so exciting! I promise everyone else will be nervous too, you'll be fine ( and look great) Flowers

LinusDKD · 14/09/2014 18:01

Evening!

one good luck tomorrow! And yes, try to enjoy it!

queenc love those sparkly flats you linked but I prefer a more rounded toe. The dark colour is so versatile though.

marsha well done on the Pistols! I can't wait to wear my Colts again. I feel like I can kick some serious ass in them. Grin

dry how did your real life shopping go today? And the mixed camping?

I also remember sneaking out to meet boys when I went to summer camp but I was such a naive teen I really didn't get up to any naughty stuff.

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 18:14

Ha Linus me too, they are the best boot for that Grin

Sleep which woolrich coat? Sounds nice.

I have now ordered a navy acne jumper and navy acne scarf - as there's some 25% off codes on email for my-wardrobe if anyone is interested? Feel a bit lightheaded now, will link later!

So just the grey stuff, tartan, skirt, dress er and peacoat. Darn list is meant to be getting shorter.

herecomesthsun · 14/09/2014 18:28

can anyone advise please on a glam evening cover up? I am thinking faux fur possibly, in white or silver, over the shoulders but not too bulky?

Drywhiteplease · 14/09/2014 18:53

Here that was a sneaky arrival Grin ....welcome to MNV.....will have a ponder. Who are you? What do you like? Etc etc....

Meanwhile;

Linus RL shopping planned for next Saturday grrrr at working
Mixed sleepover....NEVER again! They never went to bed.....so why did I decide to go to Ikea eek on a Sunday horror with DH am I mad ? Obviously it ended in a big argument as big as the Cosco argument 6 years ago. DH does NOT do shopping. Luckily we're over it now Grin
Marsha nothing better than people watching on a night out....

OneLittleLady · 14/09/2014 18:56

I think I've decided on tomorrows outfit: Black ankle zip skinnies, black low heels faux suede ankle boots, green and black tartan jacket, McQueen scarf. Just don't know what top!

Drywhiteplease · 14/09/2014 19:02

Here
white knitted, not glam really
fluffy
Will try harder later

MarshaBrady · 14/09/2014 19:06

One your outfit is perfect.

Hi Here will have a look.

This is the acne jumper. But might go straight back if sleeves are odd like the pic

and acne scarf.

That's four navy or blue jumpers recently. I can definitely say I have got enough.

OneLittleLady · 14/09/2014 19:08

marsha do you think a raspberry pink shell top will be too much or should I stick with something in black or grey? If all else fails, it'll be my batman tee Grin
