All this talk of E Alt made me try on my Manolos with my skinny jeans just now, but it just doesn't work on me.

My heels are not pointy enough, or my jeans are wrong (I even tried cuffing the hem) or I am not thin enough.

I do like her look though, I wonder what jeans she wears. I don't think they are skinnies. Maybe you know santa

Your outfit sounds great one! I can't really do slogan tees or band tees but I was briefly tempted to try the I Marant sweater santa bought recently as they had a lovely blue version in my local dept store.

Although I see pins with skinnies and heels so often. I feel a bit mismatched when I do it.

But all I wear is skinnies atm so sometimes I have to do it.

I read WIT saying the silhouette is changing from skinny bottom half to wider on the bottom and fitted top. I will struggle!

I wore that kind of outfit on Christmas Eve last year at my parents: Sportmax skirt, black poloneck tee, black opaques and Jalouses.

Just tried my heels with my Jimmies after santa's suggestion and it does look better than the skinnies, but still not quite right.

No, I think she wears Baxters as seen here. More of a straight skinny.

I have some Baxters, but unfortunately I don't have her lovely long limbs although I may try pairing them with animal print heels

I think my Jimmies are pretty slim fit santa and I don't think I can size down more than the 26 I am wearing currently.

Will try them with my white Baxters tomorrow amber. If it works I might have to buy some more colours.

EA is great. She actually wears such simple stuff that on some would look terribly dull but on her just look so cool. I can't do skinny jean/heel combo either. I did it once and spent the whole night feeling totally wrong.

I can't imagine getting back to wide legs and tight tops but I guess it's been years since we dressed like that, that it must be due a revival. I've hung onto my gap 'sexy flare' though that with heels make my legs look amazing.

I quite often wear my Jimmies with my Florettes - think it looks ok
