Santa I'll get the odd comment, he really doesn't like the Lanvin boots for eg. Confused but your dh sounds personally affronted by the Chloe's. Harsh indeed!

OneLittleLady · 21/09/2014 19:48

Oh dear, very harsh santa

Have finally got home after an hour's delay. Just enough time to get the washing in, get showered and relax before bed as tomorrow is the start of uni lessons! I hope I don't look too cliche with my spiderman notebook Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 19:49

Although perhaps he was being funny (trying)

The thing dh hated most was the slippers I bought from NaP, can't remember brand, he went on about those for a day too

Drywhiteplease · 21/09/2014 19:56

Wow he really didn't like them! I missed the link...were they really that bad? You seem to have great taste, I'm Confused....can you link again Santa?

santamarianovella · 21/09/2014 20:01

I know!! He could have said " look,s, you want my opinion they are not great on you" or something!

But to be fair I did tell him please say the first thing that comes to your mind!

I'm wearing them to bed tonight! Wink

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 20:03

Lol! Excellent Grin

Drywhiteplease · 21/09/2014 20:04

Grin Santa.....I actually dare you to do that!

LinusDKD · 21/09/2014 20:08

Ha! I bet that if you just wear them and nothing else he'll soon change his mind. Wink

shopafrolic · 21/09/2014 20:16

I didn't really like them either. Sorry :(

SantaShock your dh is v cheeky! I tried in the bikers earlier and dh said as I was putting them "I didn't realise you had a motorbike outside" but then the sarky sod admitted they looked goodHmm

santamarianovella · 21/09/2014 20:24

novice dh likes my choo bikers too,

He wants sexy shoes will get the Saint Laurent Western ,

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 20:26

I'd be buying a Saint Laurent a/w wardrobe, you know to help him get over it.

santamarianovella · 21/09/2014 20:29

Way a head of you, marsha in fact I've developed a sudden lust for that gorgeous Saint Laurent blazer you linked, think it will look good with the boots,

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 20:31

Oh man my perfect blazer Grin you should definitely.

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 20:31

And it would look incredible with the boots.

santamarianovella · 21/09/2014 20:36

Blazer and boots worth over 3k, don't think that will go down well with him, he might actually find the loafers incredibly appealing if i get them Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 20:39

Actual laugh at that Grin

BrandyAlexander · 21/09/2014 20:40

GrinGrin You go girl!

LinusDKD · 21/09/2014 20:40

DH used to hate bikers and pulled a face when I tried on my Choo bikers in the shop but now he does like them.

BrandyAlexander · 21/09/2014 20:49

Actually it's bonus time soon (for both of us) which means dh will start getting agitated the minute I spend any of it. I have actually found a solution to calm him down which I think works - our bank does an automatic overnight sweep to and from our savings account. So I put a very large amount in the savings account and maintained the current account at £1000 constantly so it's now too complicated for him to get emotional about.Grin

OneLittleLady · 21/09/2014 20:59

Dp is usually quite kind about my fashion choices but will say, nicely, if he really doesn't like something.

bit scared about starting lessons proper tomorrow, that said though, we have an easy timetable for the first year so I don't think I'll get overloaded or anything so long as I pace myself and my work. Seem to be making some friends already as well which is nice and unexpected too Smile

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2014 21:11

Novice you've gotta get a bonus treat, any ideas? We can help if not Wink

One of course! I remember the friends I made in a course very fondly, we had a blast as all we did was go to the pub and talk about art. Was fab. I'm sure you will have a great time.

bettykt · 21/09/2014 21:31

Santa aw I hope you're not too hurt by dh's comments, I think you need to buy something ultra ultra ultra expensive to cheer yourself up Grin

Novice you sure is crafty, I like your style Grin any plans on what you're looking to buy?< lives vicariously through other people's spending.>

BrandyAlexander · 21/09/2014 21:37

Marsha, Betty, I only have a few ideas....the grey Chloe Paraty and I quite fancy a Celine Nano. I haven't given up on Linus' Burberry link but haven't had time to look.

Last years bonus all went on the house so this year it's all mine! Well not quite. Dh will only stop knitting if we repay a chuck of mortgage, do the pension and isa plus the kids plus rainy day and pay for next years holidays. I will also quietly top up the savings account again.Wink At which point he will grudgingly admit that I can treat myself without a financial meltdown.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 21/09/2014 21:43

Just asked DP if he can think of anything I wear which he hates. He couldn't think of anything (but there have definitely been comments). santa I suppose at least he's helped you make up your mind about the loafers.. I wouldn't wear them myself but I did think they were cool.

One hope you enjoy tomorrow, you've been waiting for it so long and you really deserve it :)

novice you at least need to get the paraty Wink
