santamarianovella · 19/09/2014 17:15

This Chloe jacket is beyond gorgeous ,pic doesn't show the colours right, similar to the one I have, but I think this is more wow

I think my pistols look on on me - can be seen here, not a great shot but you get the idea. Maybe I'm deluded but I only paid £36 for them (have I mentioned that...?)

MarshaBrady · 19/09/2014 17:29

lol Amber.

They do look great.

I just rang dh in a panic about the boots. He says they look good and to keep them.

MarshaBrady · 19/09/2014 17:30

Santa that jacket looks incredible

shopafrolic · 19/09/2014 17:35

Marsha you're taller than me. I think they looked fab on you.....

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 19/09/2014 17:36

Keep them
Santa that is stunning.

MarshaBrady · 19/09/2014 17:40

Shop thanks, maybe it feels more pronounced when I look in the mirror, as they look fab on everyone else.

And aren't you a smidge taller? Grin

MarshaBrady · 19/09/2014 17:40

Or perhaps the same

santamarianovella · 19/09/2014 17:55

marsha , shop, amber you all look incredible in pistols, I now feel bad for saying it, Sad but I honestly was talking about myself, as you can see from the pic of the rockstuds, my feet are not my best feature, they are big for my size and height!

Karbea · 19/09/2014 17:55

Argh can't believe there was a Temperley sale in London, I was so close by today. Mind you at least I didn't end up spending anything!

santa I love those rock stud shoes, I sooooo want a pair.

marsha I'm tiny and I hope think my Pistols look ok on me. Maybe I will get a different boot then, when I get round to replacing them.

fedup I've a leather skirt in cream very similar to that, but I've worn it maybe twice, I never know what to wear it with :(

And shoe boots, never know what to wear them with either :/

shopafrolic · 19/09/2014 18:01

Marsha didn't we do a back to back measure at the last MU - I was so drunk by then I cannot remember the result or perhaps I imagined it all?

Drywhiteplease · 19/09/2014 18:04

Marsha it has! and I think it's love! but have lost confidence in my leather skirt judgement, so waiting for some honest feedback from friends Smile
Will report back if I decide to let the skirt move into my wardrobe !

BrandyAlexander · 19/09/2014 18:10

Hello! Okay so i was going to post asking if anyone knew who i was trying to welcome Blush. Having scrolled back to Monday, I now realise that it was here. Should there be a sticky at the top of the thread warning new posters that if they join just before i have been out having bubbles, they will have random ramblings from me?! Blush

Love Santa's shoes just love them.

steel&nuance=11 This is my new watch that i was wittering on about last night.

These are the shoes that i will never ever wear again!

AmberNectarine · 19/09/2014 18:20

I wanted to wear my rockstuds today but they need rubber soles on them really, the leather has worn away at the toes after 2 wears!

Karbea · 19/09/2014 18:29

I hate that about shoes, annoying!
But that reminded me of this cobbler, just I case anyone didn't know about them and need anything fixed.
They did a great job of fixing a pair of Jimmy Choo boots that I sliced a piece of leather off of.

Drywhiteplease · 19/09/2014 18:37

Amber that's bad

AmberNectarine · 19/09/2014 18:38

Happens to all my leather soled shoes - maybe I walk oddly? I always get them straight down the cobblers for rubber soling.

santamarianovella · 19/09/2014 18:52

Just to clear things pistols are bad on me,and me only,..now repeat after me,they only look bad on santa good Wink anyone reading this and happen to own pistols I'm sure you look fab in them,

Now back to chatting,

betty Flowers well done,

dry the skirt really looks great on you, keep it

shop fab shopping,

novice the watch is beautiful, but the padlock can get annoying sometimes, but I think its a classic piece, that your daughter would love to own someday, provided you don't lose it like the gucci watch! Grin

I did get the APC mike shirt, did size up as I wanted a loose fit,
So chambray shirt is crossed off my list,

Also got the marant sweatshirt,

Bought grey le skinny frame jeans, they need serious breaking in,super tight, but it looked good with the sweatshirt,

Did get a sweater similar tothis

but in plum and bit heavier, and dear god, either the one I got was mis priced, or its another style because I paid almost half the price to what is shown on harrods,

Also bought a pair of leather skinny leggings in black cant find a link, similar to marant ones, but fraction of the price, very nice thick leather, good replacement for the old ones I had ,

I'm now having this panicky guilty feeling about these loafers, they looked good, and as soon as I reached home I tried them with few things I have and they work well, but I'm feeling they are too much, what do you all think?
Should I return them and keep the refund for the chess boots?

Karbea · 19/09/2014 18:59

The loafers are lovely and look comfy (getting old), but light grey and suede would frighten me.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/09/2014 19:09

Wow santa, that's quite a haul! I like the loafers, think they'll look great with skinnies, but it depends whether you think you'll get good wear out of them before winter arrives.

Re pistols, I think everyone thinks their feet look long/big in them at first, but you soon get used to them. Also how often do you go around looking at other people's feet and thinking they have clown feet? (Hopefully never, which means no one's doing it to you!)

santamarianovella · 19/09/2014 19:15

You are probably right karbea ,but the people at the store were very nice to me ,they even gave me %15 off for my first shop with them,I know its like signing a contract with lucifer, but I got the sweatshirt, jeans and loafers on promotion, its absolutely rude to return it Wink .... But no, you have a point, these are the chess boots by the way,

blair it looks nice, and temeperly dresses are so exquisite Its hard to look wrong in them

Karbea · 19/09/2014 19:20

They are brilliant, but does the ankle bit look as wide in real life?
I popped into Matches today on marylebone high street, luckily I couldn't find a black blazer.

LinusDKD · 19/09/2014 19:21

santa that is some serious shopping!

LOVE the loafers and I have touched that sweater so many times in the shops but always walked away as the neckline probably wouldn't suit me.

I really like that Chloé jacket but I prefer yours. Oh and did you see that check APC shirt by any chance?

marsha keep the Pistols, they are perfect for you!

awks I so wish I could do a fringe but I had one when I was 18 and I looked like a chipmunk on steroids. It just doesn't suit my face.

one hope you are having a fab time in London.

shop I tried the ripped Leighs only once and looked like an idiot so I'll stick to the plain ones.

novice gorgeous watch!

My shopping trip was cut short by the terrible weather but I did buy a lovely winter coat at Jacadi for DD and a breton at Cos for myself.

Drywhiteplease · 19/09/2014 19:23
