What kind of shoes marsha? I'm by no means a 35, although I wish! Think of all the shoes I could get on sales! Very hard to find my size during sales,

Good luck bettyk

one really glad your first day wasa hit,

novice that's really strange, I've ordered many times from mytheresa with no issues, why not get it from the Chloe boutique or selfridges? Or matches ,at least you get to avoid shipping charges,

dry does this mean we have a winner?

queen poor thing,I hope she feels better,

Trends, I could only do the Valentino cape ,nope, nope to the rest.

Dh is away till sat,Sad but at least house is almost done, just one last delivery tomorrow, phew!
Hair appointment is on Thursday, hope its a good place,my hair really needs a trim, and on Friday I have a couple of hours to shopGrin Grin, its true what they say ,you get influenced by your saroundings,I had to schedule a shopping trip in advance and type it in my iPhone ,very organised, sehr deutsch Wink. first thing on my list is to check pistols, plaid shirt, blue shirt (for not so obvius double denim look) grey skinnies, and sweater,

The weather is really strange here, sometimes have no idea what to wear, cold in morning, and by noon it goes up to 20s and i feel hot, some days its cool, and the next not so much ,wish it would just be autum already.

MarshaBrady · 16/09/2014 11:37

Santa Gianvito Rossi grey suede heels - Linus perhaps your mil could get them!

MarshaBrady · 16/09/2014 11:38

Also weather is similar here, very hard to know what to wear. Had equipment cashmere on, but will have to change.

LinusDKD · 16/09/2014 11:40

Same weather here santa! 11 degrees in the morning and yesterday afternoon it was 30 degrees! Shock

I also make shopping lists on my Iphone, especially when I'm going into town. Maybe I have some German blood in me of maybe I'm just a boring listmaker. Wink

Talking about plaid shirts, I tried to find the APC one in London but no luck. They do have nice plaid shirts in the H&M men's section but I tried an XS and it was too big on me. Such a shame because the material and colours were lovely.

I also tried on a grey hoody (to wear after my run) in the teenage boys section at H&M on that same shopping trip, the shop assistants must have thought I was some weirdo.

But DS has the softest hoody from their children's range and the children and teenage boys range have plain colours with no logos, so I want to get one of those. They didn't have my size in store in the colour I wanted though.

queenc chicken pox suck! DS and DD had it within weeks of each other and the first few days were horrible. The anti-histamine the dr had prescribed really didn't work in the beginning.

Poor DD was only about 8 months old and was covered in them. Her scalp looked like she had leprosy as it was full of huge scabs Sad.

QueenCardigan · 16/09/2014 12:33

Annoyingly dd is asleep in the car which means I can't have a cheeky nap also. I'm enjoying a peaceful lunch of Brie and oatcakes though. What is it about being tired that makes you sooo hungry.

shop that trend link didn't work for me.

The weather is v annoying here too. A little chilly first thing but boiling by the afternoon school run. I'm getting changed most days.

shopafrolic · 16/09/2014 12:33

This Lulu Guiness Uniqlo sweatshirt is on it's way to me - along with this basic
Slippers have arrived - off to try

I got a fab plaid shirt in J Crew the other day, I have quite a lot now, have been my A/W staple for years. Nice to be on trend. Weather is irritating me too. No objection to hot or cold but both in one day is tedious. Am very casual today in grey marl tee, bleached ripped jeans, rose gold Gigis and navy Gucci bag. Would like a casual dress or two for A/W now I'm not working but I find casual dresses the absolute HARDEST. I'm fussy.

santamarianovella · 16/09/2014 13:03

linus it was so easier when i was in london ,everything was within walking distance, matches and selfridges were just down the road from where I lived, so would check stuff out before picking up the dcs from school. Where we live ATM is not far from downtown but I need to drive to some places and sometimes its a pain finding a parking, and shops are not in one area,so you have to think before deciding on what you want to get in one day,

There is a place here that stocks APC, so will check if they have the plaid shirt, I've seen it in a grey colour too,but the navy and black looks nicer,

I love the jcrew shirt you linked amber but don't think the colour is right for me,

navy coat for marshanot pea coat, but I think this style suits you most

Drywhiteplease · 16/09/2014 13:38

Boiling in our dress and opaques linus Sad

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/09/2014 13:39

I don't think I can do plaid/tartan... just not me. It is very on trend though and I love the colours of your jcrew shirt Amber.

Am wearing only Jcrew today, red cafe capri trousers and grey Tippi. Missing a statement necklace but I do feel a bit silly in them at work!

Very cool sweatshirt shop.

I love this Mango evening dress, if only they made it in cream I'd be ordering to try on.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/09/2014 13:43

Dry I have given myself a rule that I can't wear opaques until October! But then I am going away again at Oct half term so want the weather to stay nice anyway.

shopafrolic · 16/09/2014 14:16

Matches codes are soooo good! Why??? £100 off a £300 spend - it makes you want to buy even when you don't need to. Must resist.
My new slippers are actually very cool. Not sure on the sweaty feet factor as they are part wool and part acrylic but the additional sole for outdoor wear is very clever. slippers
I am meeting a stylist tomorrow for a chat. Might be asking DH for some time with her as part of my birthday gift (not till November but planning early). It's the first time I've found someone locally who looks as though I like their own personal style....

LinusDKD · 16/09/2014 14:18

Lol dry! I have just changed from ls tee and skinnies into my white Mango dress (shop has it in peach/orange)

Luckily I shaved my legs this morning. Wink. It is 28 degrees at the moment.

That is a gorgeous jumper shop! I really miss Uniqlo here. And Gap. And Topshop.

LinusDKD · 16/09/2014 14:21

I also got that Matches e-mail shop! Soo tempted to have a look this evening to see if there is something I 'need'. Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 16/09/2014 14:23

Hey shop - how are you feeling now?

I still haven't succumbed to opaques yet either (still fake tanning). Wore my cashmere sweater dress yesterday (it has short sleeves) with bare legs and bikers and loved it- felt sneakily sexy somehow Smile.

Santa I'm not surprised you are missing London - you were in shopping heaven where you lived!

Good luck Betty!

shopafrolic · 16/09/2014 14:28

Sleep getting there thanks. Just so tired all the time. Went to bed at 8.30pm last night! Another 10 days of ABs to go. not that I'm counting
Outfit sounds fab - I'm going to have to get changed now as am roasting in my GAP merino sweater and Paige boyfriend jeans.

QueenCardigan · 16/09/2014 14:31

shop that sounds good. Let us know how it goes. I'm November too and have planned my present from dh.

Really hot here but don't want to change into shorts as some bastard insect bit my leg on Saturday night and I've massively reacted to it. Best hidden under ankle length jeans.

That dress is lovely blair

Sleepwhenidie · 16/09/2014 14:40

10 days? Shock

OneLittleLady · 16/09/2014 15:53

I hate to admit this but I'm already wearing opaques. It's too cold first thing in the morning when I leave the flat for me not to. I get too cold otherwise. I haven't broken out the fleece lined tights yet though!

Fedupnagging · 16/09/2014 16:42

Am sooo behind on blogs, I'd not heard of bloglovin until your link earlier Shop. It's now downloaded and I will be adding some more blogs later. Amber, yours is already added.

Winter style - I love a thick bulky knit but need to be careful I am not swamped. Also, can get too hot hotflushes suck. Like a bit of animal print but not the boho chic. Oh and the 60's look is pretty good too.

I was going to ask you all yesterday what you are wearing ATM. It's too hot for boots but summer clothes don't feel quite right. I noticed a real mix when we were away at the weekend. It's hot here so have changed from trousers into a t shirt dress and havs.

Betty good luck with the interview. Was it Stokey who had an interview last week? If so, how did it go?

OneLittleLady · 16/09/2014 17:08

I've ordered some brogues. they are a mid grey/blue leather with some darker parts. they also came in nude but I don't think nude would work for me at all. Should arrive in store next week for me to try on, it might be that they are a bit too delicate for me but I do love them so I shall see and judge when I've tried them on.

fedup I'm also stuck with what to wear atm, it's pretty chilly when I first go out in the morning but warms up in the afternoon so I'm mostly wearing either skinnies, tee and blazer and scarf with converse or skirts/dresses, cardigans, opaques and either ballet flats or the converse again. At least I can take the blazer or cardigan off if it gets too warm int he afternoons

Sleepwhenidie · 16/09/2014 18:01

Dry - why does this dress instantly shout Dry to me?

shopafrolic · 16/09/2014 18:16

Yup 2.5 weeks of ABs in total I think (and this was the second type!)

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 16/09/2014 18:22

Sad - you poor thing. Are you taking probiotics too Hmm

MarshaBrady · 16/09/2014 18:25

Oh I love that Preen dress. Some one buy it! Grin Dry or Sleep

Santa that is lovely, I tried a Sessun too long peacoat in Liberty it wasn't right and I think I prefer the Marant type slouch coat. So yep I'm right with you.

Shop that is ages.

One they sound good.

My acne jumper and scarf are here, in a huge box and I haven't tried them yet. Need to try!
