There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

Lovely bag novice I hope you DFil is okay

BrandyAlexander · 06/09/2014 22:37

Oooh I absolutely love that watch! I have a version of it (can't remember who by) but I really want steel&nuance=8 this one and had a first attempt at hinting to dh that this would be lovely for Xmas. Must say that your link is making me twitchy!Grin

OneLittleLady · 06/09/2014 22:41

Awks that's a nice watch, does it come with any other colour strap? I'm looking for a watch but I don't wear any shade of brown at all (i look dowdy in brown, it's all too true)

libertychick · 06/09/2014 22:42

awks the sizing is generous. I got the 12 and they fit well even though I am definitely veering into 14 ATM. The waist is very high and low crotch so if they were too big they could look a bit clownish I think.

BrandyAlexander · 06/09/2014 22:47

Thanks One. Maybe I am just being paranoid (I really hope so). And dh (nor dfil!) doesn't "do" talking about these things so I am just quietly worrying.

santamarianovella · 06/09/2014 22:55

Gorgeous bag novice , I love the Kelly watch, I have it in black with gold padlock, it was a gift from my dad, I don't wear it much now , but will treasure it forever and pass it to dd one day Smile

awks please stay with us, you have a very cheerful and positive attitude, plus you love nice bags! Grin

bettykt · 06/09/2014 23:03

Novice love love your bag, perfect colour also love your watch too. Hope your dfil is okay Thanks

Awks Your watch is great too. I'm after a new watch and quite fancy a watch with a tan strap.

Liberty glad you found a great pair of trousers. The search has definitely paid off.

One nice of dp to get you a satchel for uni, a very thoughtful gift.

maradesbois · 06/09/2014 23:34

Evening,

A big welcome to Awks, you sound lovely & your positive attitude has encouraged me to be more accepting about big commutes.

Novice hope dfil is ok & that your worries are unfounded. On a lighter note am also glad that you're able to continue to sustain your bling habit! Fab watch and bag.

Dry oi, watch it! Grin. Topaz now you mention it I was wondering where the everybody matters signs had gone?!

Fedup your pink jumpsuit link reminded me that myself and dsises had similar when we were at primary school in mid 80s. We called them flying suits, no idea why. I thought it was the height of sophistication at the time though.

OneLittleLady · 06/09/2014 23:36

shopafrolic · 07/09/2014 00:18

Have a Brew Shop you may feel more human afterwards! Enjoy your day.

Novice lovely bag- great colour and fab watch. Also loved the one Awk linked too. Hope dfil is ok. You may need to do some careful questioning. Can you speak to dmil?

Nice dress One - it does look a little form fitting but you would need to try on - a thicker fabric is more forgiving.

Drywhiteplease · 07/09/2014 09:14

Good luck with your wedding marathon Shop sounds fab., I love a wedding.

I went to Lancs yesterday to find a fabric shop I've heard a lot about. Oh my goodness it was well worth the long trip. High End furnishing fabrics for between £1-£5 a metre! I was in heaven. Looked like a warehouse, with rolls and rolls piled high, you had to rummage. No frills whatsoever. I spotted a Mulberry "Flying Ducks" fabric for £30 a mtr. Designers Guild etc. Bought a beautiful embroidered cotton for my curtains and blinds. Cost me £150. I'm thrilled,I reckon I saved approx £500!

MarshaBrady · 07/09/2014 09:21

Morning, had a lovely indulgent night out and doing it again next weekend with friends. I need that week in between.

Shop I salute you, have fun!

QueenCardigan · 07/09/2014 09:33

You know those nights out where you don't really want to go but you end up having a fab drunken time? That was last night. Far too many raspberry mules, marie Antoinette's, cosmos and oriental mules and ended the evening having a fab chat about clothes with a psychiatrist after I admired her dress.

novice unintentional weight loss should always be investigated..

QueenCardigan · 07/09/2014 09:44
