There's a chill in the air as we head towards Autumn. Some of us may have jetted off to sunnier spots, some of us are lounging on yachts (kind of) but we're still going strong 44 editions in. Come and join us for fun, friendly fashion and beauty chat. All welcome, any budget. :)

I love to go to it with you one. My exams finish around about the 3rd week in April so anytime after that would be great.

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2014 21:01

Grin excellent liberty I'm really excited about it. Once I've got my timetable etc, I'll know what weekends/weeks I'll be in London so we can sort something out Grin

Drywhiteplease · 26/08/2014 21:17

I may well be down for Easter and really fancy it too.
Great shopping Shop.
Am feeling uninspired so far but it is still August

So far I need:
Black suede courts, probably Florettes
Black lowish ankle boot to wear with dresses and skirts for work, prob R and B will need to save
A going out dress for Christmas dos fancy red or berry

Today I'm still swaying and fell out of my car in town Grin plonker....grazed my knee, now I look like a 5yr old Sad

My wonderful builder left milk skimmed and a loaf of bread in my fridge when I came home from holiday....I actually really love him Smile
Both new bathrooms are nearly in. I love one but I think I've messed up the layout of the other and think it's too late to say damn

libertychick · 26/08/2014 21:34

Good stuff one - just pm me once you have dates and Dry would be great if we could fit around your plans too. I love the V&A.

Grin that you are still swaying Dry. I'm sure your bathroom is lovely. I often find with home stuff that you put so much effort into it that you end up feeling underwhelmed with the final result. Once it's completed and other people who haven't spent as much time thinking about it as you see it and comment on it you will feel differently. Your builder sounds great.

My list is:
Black knee high boots, hopefully these
Navy skirt - have a couple ordered from M&S and a few others lined up to check out next week
Black, grey or navy work trousers. Like the idea of a slouchy style. Waiting for Topaz to feed back on how washing the Next ones goes Smile
Black cashmere sweater - I threw out my old Woolovers merino and cashmere one yesterday - it was ok but I don't love it so decided an upgrade is in order. I have ordered a V neck one and a crew neck from M&S in a couple of different sizes to try out.
Like Dry a Christmas going out dress. If the gorgeous DVF one I linked yesterday is still hanging around the Outnet in Oct no chance it could be the one...

And that will be it until the Christmas sales when I will be looking for:
2 work dresses
Navy blazer
Black ankle boots
Silk shirts/tops for work
Jeans - skinny indigo and maybe black

Drywhiteplease · 26/08/2014 21:37

Will be interested to see your navy work skirts Liberty........Shock that someone has already mentioned Christmas sales Grin

Fedupnagging · 26/08/2014 21:58

Sad news this afternoon- the Sam Edelman Ollie order has been cancelled. Had already planned what to wear them with this weekend Sad.

Just love these boots, great colour.

One, I already have tickets for the exhibition otherwise I would come along. I think it will be brilliant. Have you found your coat yet?

My a/w list is similar to Dry and Lib, Christmas dress and black knee length boots and a new winter hat. Am also v tempted with a tartan scarf.

libertychick · 26/08/2014 22:04

Nice boots Fedup. What a shame about the sandals.

BTW for those looking at tartan scarves I got this one in Edinburgh Woollen Mill last year. Great quality and I think it cost about £12. It's a small scarf so not suitable if you are looking for something big and drapey.

santamarianovella · 26/08/2014 22:12

I'm still Grin at shop and marsha would've loved to witness a live shopping exchange of them in the same room Grin ,I really love you both. And yes ,I hereby declare isabel marant crisi boots the new MNV boots, as I think, marsha, shop, decam ,and me own them, and shop, I have the exact marant shirt, but In red, we are practically twins Wink, but of course you are the tall willowy one, and I'm the short hot one Grin

one I'm planing on going to the exhibition , but I still have no set date yet.

dry that's very sweet of the builder, and I agree with liberty, I'm sure its great, but you've reached a stage, where you feel, you could've done this,or added this instead of that etc, but be certain that your first choice is probably the best one,

My list: bought some stuff already but i still need
one more dress
, maybe two sweaters, but one will be later in sales,
a coat, again in sales,
a leather skirt,
scarf,

boots,sales,
wool cropped pants,in plack

Christmas party dress.

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2014 22:12

No, haven't found 'the one' yet fedup report back about the exhibition if you go before we do! I bet it's going to be fabulous

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2014 22:13

you'd be more than welcome to come with us Santa if everyone's dates match up Smile

OneLittleLady · 26/08/2014 22:13

I like that scarf liberty but I already stole Dp's black, blue and red burberry check wool scarf Blush

Topazandpearl · 26/08/2014 22:55

Everyone is so organised with their lists! And lots of great shopping!

My next purchase will probably be a dress for a do at the end of Sept. I haven't decided what style yet so haven't really started to look, although I was inspired by Shop's quest. I'm sure I can rely on help when the time comes!

I haven't washed the trousers yet Liberty, but will report when I do. Btw, I am very happy with the ghd air hair dryer, but can't say how it compares with similar ones.

shopafrolic · 26/08/2014 22:57

Santa why can't I be hot too?
Marsha and I are lethal when tandem online shopping. In stores we tend to separate to cover more ground. In bars we are dangerous Grin

Fedupnagging · 26/08/2014 23:08

Grin at shop and marsha's shopping and drinking habits!

Topaz, I am only organised as they were items I didn't get last a/w and should have done! No idea what else I need would like at the moment.

libertychick · 26/08/2014 23:20

Thanks for the hair dryer feedback Topaz. Now that the weather is getting colder I will be blow drying more often so I will keep it in mind.

Grin at Shop.

The list has made me very focused, I need to do a wardrobe analysis more often. Have just done a job lot order of navy and black trousers in various sizes from the Outnet - MK and Tory Burch - v boring though, will link if any good.

LinusDKD · 27/08/2014 07:47

Morning!

All this talk about wishlists has made me realise I need a good wardrobe clearout before I make mine.

I know I don't need any winter boots as I bought 2 pairs of Jalouses, my Choo bikers and Colts last winter but I might be tempted by the perfect grey boots. I will not be tempted to get the new MNV boots, oh no!

I probably do need some ls tees as my old ones will probably be too big and will be relegated to sleepwear.

I have my lovely Moncler coat from last winter but maybe I'm in the market for a more formal wintercoat. I do have a brown one but the colour really doesn't suit me.

I will have to be ruthless in my cull as I have a tendency to hold on to stuff 'just in case' Grin

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2014 08:32

Morning!

Shop haha so true! Lethal! Grin

I have a slight shopping hangover Wink

Ok wish list.

Jumpers always good - would love a waffle type chunky knit- navy
Skirt - why oh why is it so hard, still need one
Peacoat - navy but definitely sales
Scarf - nice to get new colour, but muted not bright

That's not too bad and as usual I'll probably get distracted on the way!

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2014 09:14

Liberty looking forward to seeing your outnet links.

Linus me too, I really need to do a cull. I've been quite ruthless lately, but still I must do this.

Santa that is a fab list, it's made me put more on mine Grin

Topaz I need a dress too, something for lunches and nights out. Not formal but nice.

MarshaBrady · 27/08/2014 09:59

Can anyone do collarless?

lovely Equipment silk shirt.

libertychick · 27/08/2014 10:40

Tory Burch Emily Trousers

Tory Burch Violet Trousers

Michael Michael Kors straight legs

See told you it was boring Grin. Fingers crossed one of them will fit and save me the hassle of an afternoon in John Lewis. I hate trying on trousers - my chunky thighs, low slung ass and hip/waist ratio combine to make it a misery.

shopafrolic · 27/08/2014 10:42

A big box has arrived.....

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 27/08/2014 10:49

i really like the michael kors trousers liberty

Live unwrap Shop?! Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/08/2014 11:32

What is it shop? The dress? Surely not outnet already?!

I think this A/W I am focusing on accessories. Maybe 1 pair of warm trousers. But I want new gloves and a scarf (never had nice ones before really and I'm not a scarf person so just need 1) and some jewellery. I was going to save up for a burberry brit camel coat but now I'm not sure.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/08/2014 11:43

My outnet box (cape) has just arrived. R&B boots should be here later. Christmas has come early in the B.Waldorf household Grin

And it's my last day of work for a bit today, I'm going on holiday tomorrow evening (after a spa day!), so great timing!

shopafrolic · 27/08/2014 12:05

Yup - Matches order arrived super quick
boot love these are definitely staying, so comfy and slouchy and perfect - love, love, love
the shirt I like, but it is a bit of a departure for me. Need to try with my make up on as I look quite androgynous with the short hair too! Looks fab with denim and the boots. I know Linus thinks the colour is off though so will try again a bit later.
And I am gutted to say that this sweatshirt is too big. Which is such a shame. It is lovely and soft, snuggly, really long arms and some great detailing. Boo hiss. Liberty PM me if you want it......
