I ordered a Tory Burch cashmere jumper, petrol blue, as part of my I will not be seen from space project. Will link

Tory Burch petrol blue I sized up because I'm not good with overly fitted cashmere. Hopefully still the rich proportions, not too billowy around the middle and sleeves.

Actually does any one have TB cashmere?

I know marsha I'm now actually a 12 in quite a few skirts but I've always had to size up in any kind of trousers/shorts/jeans. Even at my slimmest, when I wore an 8 for everything else, I was a 10 in jeans. Still having to buy dresses in a variety of sizes though as I have largeish boobs so they can be difficult to get into smaller sizes. Doesn't help that my arms are not shrinking at the same rate as the rest of me so long sleeves are proving difficult atm, especially if there's no stretch to the material of the tops I'm trying on

Like the sound of that project Marsha - I loved the colour of that but was scared by fine knit and unsure on the buttons - let us know what it's like.
Dress has arrived but I'll have to try later as am having a Liberty-esque panic day today with guests due tomorrow!

So, today DH made a huge fashion pronouncement " I think dd has inherited your g and t fashion style". what on earth does that mean? We were both wearing sun glasses and straw hats, did we both look like Joan Collins on her yacht? refused to elaborate, his fashion vocab is V limited

Urgh feeling crap today with PMT. Somehow managed to put on something I'm happy with though, navy culottes and black and white polka dot shirt with J crew statement necklace.

Lib I am on the wine! I have baked a banana bread in the hope that no-one realises I am serving Charlie B's fish pie tomorrow evening! (they are an old school elderly couple who like 'real' food - so an absolute nightmare for me to cook for as they really just want meat and 2 veg.)

I decided against wearing a dress this morning as it felt slightly nippy so I went and bought tights today. Does this mark the beginning of the end of summer?

I was cold today too Liberty, now wearing hush harems, vest and a long cardigan with slippers . I'm going to France in 2 weeks and when I come back I feel it will definitely be autumn. BUT that does mean AW clothes and shoes and wedding dress shopping.

I'm shattered. My periods are all over the place and I've had period pain today despite bleeding for the past week . I am going to see a GP next week as I've had enough of it.

Meeting dh tomorrow after work. If it's raining like this evening I will need to wear boots and will probrably wear my taupe suede ones from last year. I was a bit precious with them though and never got them wet. I've sprayed them with protector so will they be ok in the rain?
