One of my best buys has to be my fat face denim shorts as I wore them virtually every day during that hot spell. I'm pleased to say that everything (except a lipstick and a nail polish) bought over spring/summer has been a good buy. All thanks to you lot and this thread .

my best buy...hmmm.....I don't really know, I haven't actually bought all that much other than 'make do' items while my body shape is still changing. I think A/W is going to be more more my season anyway as all the colours that have been 'in' for S/S have been the wrong colours for me, despite many attempts over the years, I just don't look good in pastels and if there are any i will look good in, I haven't found them yet

As for summer star buy, Its difficult to choose one, i like everything i bought but I love CE striped dress, the most i think so comfy ,petit bateau one I picked on sale while on hols has been amazing too, good quality and costed less than €30 , very impressed with it, and have worn it loads, to bad I can't wear it again,

The weather here is miserable,I'm wearing jackets , knitwear scarves,and its still August! I've worn my rick owns jacket this morning ,

Santa I've been wearing jackets and my new red trench coat the last few days. It hasn't been wet here but has definitely been chilly. I gave my last trenchcoat to my sister as it was huge on me. My new one, the red one, is actually a size bigger than the one I gave away but it is a lot smaller fitting and the material has no stretch or give in it at all

Popping in to RAGE just saw this dress and though ohhhhh I like that, wool top, silk skirt, good price decide to buy it and it's OOS in EVERY size - if it's gone then take it off your sodding website people and don't upset me like that [anger]...

Best summer buy, well it's thanks to Linus really H&M navy maxi dress I wore it loads when it was warmer and wore it a lot on holiday too. Considering I'm quite short, it's the right length for me.

So following pm's from super dress finders Blair, Betty and QueenC I have ordered the Jigsaw dress from John Lewis . You are all so, so lovely - another example of this thread giving me the warm fuzzies... it was only left in small and usually I would go for a medium but Jigsaw often runs a bit big I think so worth trying.

I was pondering my best buy at 3am and thought hmm yes the Rossi heels are not high on cpw. What's my best cpw and I nearly bolted upright when I remembered the Celine bag. I felt guilty but it's because it feels so right - so that's my one for sure.

Morning all. Have just dropped DH off at hospital for some knee surgery. So day at home for me with DD and popping in and out of hospital as it looks like the surgery won't happen till early afternoon so will go in a keep him company.
