Continuing. From here some of us may have jetted off to far flung foreign parts, but we're still friendly, fabulous even in the heat wave and full of frivolous fashion talk. Come and join us Smile

That's what I'm thinking Stokey surely no one is as disorganised as us Grin we must get one last minute.

Where are you going? Might inspire me!

Fedupnagging · 11/08/2014 17:43

Just popping in to say hi everyone! Sorry the weather is so rubbish in the UK. It's lovely here so intend to hit the beach again today.

Had a fantastic day at the mall yesterday - will link everything when home in a few days but as a teaser, picked up 2 Kate Spade bags! Dh still in shock

There was loads of Roland Mouret in BR but the dresses are too form fitting for me so didn't buy anything.

Queen, gorgeous cardi, love that colour. Also love the lace skirt.

Blair, sounds like the wedding plans are coming along. Can't wait to hear all about the dress trying on session.

Santa Grin

Marsha, hope you find somewhere to go. Am guessing you are looking further afield than the UK?

Liberty, I love jumpers too! long sleeve, short sleeve, batwing.....

One sounds like you had a lovely weekend.

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 18:13

Hello you lovely lot. I've had a lovely day catching up with two Voguettes and their gorgeous little ones. I think my DS is in love! He has finally met a lovely young lady who adores Thomas The Tank as much as he does!
Novice those soaps smell gorgeous - Thanks thanks so much xx
What weird weather - sunnies on one minute, rain the next.
I have some jeans to offer up to you. Linus gave them to me, and they are now too big. Although well loved, there is still life left in them. Free to a good Voguette home. These ones Paige Troy Boy in a very generous 28. (they are too big for me so would say they would fit a smallish size 14. PM me if interested.

LinusDKD · 11/08/2014 19:30

Evening!

I love that Radley bag in navy queenc! Definitely a classic.

liberty your TS link doesn't work, is it the shirt I also ordered? Mine hasn't arrived yet but I did size down so hopefully mine isn't too big.

marsha great jeans, I hope your light wash denim search has come to an end.

blair wow, the venue has been booked. That must be a relief!

I bought [[http://tablet.hm.com/gb/product/23918?article=23918-C this] H&M cardigan today in grey. Love it and hope it washes well.

LinusDKD · 11/08/2014 19:31

try again

QueenCardigan · 11/08/2014 19:32

Sounds like a lovely day shop . Our weather sounds like the same as yours.
blair very excited about your wedding. We should organise a mu/hen do date for January?

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 19:34

Queen the lovely MrsR was in the neighbourhood, so she and Liberty came to my house for lunch and a play date. Very strange to be so non Vogue e.g. No alcohol involved! Just a really lovely day.

QueenCardigan · 11/08/2014 19:42

Ah, that's great that you met with mrsr. I did think that the other would be lib. I need more bristolians to join the thread!

QueenCardigan · 11/08/2014 19:45

blair I emailed save the date but I think I did buy printed invitations. I did originally have the idea of making my own until I looked into buying all the stuff and realised that it wouldn't be much cheaper. Same with table decorations. In the end I went with a simple cala Lilly in a vase.

LinusDKD · 11/08/2014 19:47

Sounds like a great afternoon shop! Even without alcohol Wink

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 19:47

Blair I made my own invites. Friend designed a DL postcard style invite, bought wax paper wraps for pennies off Amazon, tied with ribbon from John Lewis and then put in plain DL envelopes from WH Smith. Happy to chat on PM if you want (can even send you a sample!)

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 20:29

Gorgeous things on here

libertychick · 11/08/2014 21:00

Yes was a really lovely afternoon and it was so nice to see the DC's getting on as well as their DM's do! And it was very unlike a usual MU - I didn't even wear make up Shock. Shop's house is v chic - loved it. And we did a bit of clothes/make up swapping - all good.

Linus it was the shirt you linked. It is lovely soft cotton, good idea to size down. The main thing for me was that it was too short - it hit at the widest part of my hips which coupled with the boxy style did me no favours.

Back to work tomorrow and doing some study now .

OneLittleLady · 11/08/2014 21:07

hello to all. In a panic as I'm not feeling well so rang the out of hours doctors and they are sending a car out to pick me up so i can be seen by a doctor. Will let you all know how I am when I get home, the car could be here any time within the next half an hour so must be on the look out for it

libertychick · 11/08/2014 21:11

Hope you are ok one Flowers

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 11/08/2014 21:12

Email save the date is an idea, it's not very important after all. It's so hard not to get swept up in everything! Shop thank you for the kind offer but I know what I want (something very plain with a modern all-capitals text on cream card, no pictures/motifs/squiggly bits). It's just so hard to find! This is my current favourite but I priced it up and it's over £300 for save the dates, invites, and thank yous and we are not having a big wedding at all!

Playdate MU sounds like it was lovely :)

Carven top arrived today and I love it. It's really me and fits like a glove, on the tight side actually.

to fedup, looking forward to holiday shopping report.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 11/08/2014 21:13

X post, thinking of you One.

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:16

I know a lot of people who swear by the WH smith invite printing service. They used to do an instore service. Not sure anymore....

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:17

One feel better soon. Keep us posted x

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:19

anything on here Blair?

LinusDKD · 11/08/2014 21:20

one I hope you feel better soon!

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:25

Ignore my links Blair. I'll have a chat to a few friends and see if anyone can price anything up for you if you like?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 11/08/2014 21:39

shop I like the Debenhams link, had no idea they did personalised stuff! Nor WHSmith. Do you know people who can print/make invites then? I wouldn't want you to go to too much trouble Flowers x

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:43

I know people who can do the artwork for you. I'd be happy to proof read them for you and then we can find you a local printer. I've sent an email to see if I can get anyone to help.
In the meantime Debs and a lot of the high st stores do reasonable stuff and not too many people know to use them. John Lewis used to do it too I think....perhaps M&S....

shopafrolic · 11/08/2014 21:45

M&S
Not sure if John Lewis are personalised
