So imagine my surprise this evening when the door bell goes and it's my banana republic order. Unusually for me, I have tried everything on. The verdict....OMG! Just fab. 100% just fab. These are like the perfect dresses for hour glass figures. The dresses are perfect, as they are petite sized and just proportional for me in every way. this dress is my favourite just love everything about it. this dress is very pink! The picture is misleading. But looks great. Only thing...they are cut v slim and not very forgiving ie v Roland Mouret!, so I just about got away with the 6.

Shop like a sheep I bought the 1969 sexy boyfriend jeans. How did you find the sizing? I bought 26 but they are gaping at the back. Did you find this?

novice really happy the order was good. Sounds like the fit would have been perfect for me as well, but I am telling myself not to be too disappointed as the colours of all the dresses weren't really right for me. Is the pink dress a very hot pink? If so I will feel better, as I wanted it to be a warm pink.

Novice I got the sexy boyfriend shorts, not the jeans. Sizing is generous I'd say. Mine are a 28. But my chinos from them are a 10. There is no way I'm a 10!!!!

I love mine Shop think I'll be wearing them a lot on holiday. Gap is generous generally I think.

Sorry Shop, I meant the shorts, same as you. I think I will have to take them back for the 25s as the gaping thing is not a good look. problem is that they might be tight on thigh then, which is also not an attractive look! I can't really lose 5lbs by next weeks holiday!!

10 adults and 19 little ones here tomorrow for a BBQ. No idea what I'll wear, hideously disorganised this week so we'll just get everyone pissed and hope it goes well (obvs the children will be sober)

We have a visit to pil which was source of my grump as had to rush out and get presents and he'd agreed the visit 2 weeks ago. this candle was one of my presents for sil. It smells divine.

Have had the most rotten night. Poor dd had a tummy ache all night. She finally fell asleep at dawn. Ds then woke up at 6.30am! We are supposed to have left home by now to go and see in laws but she's still asleep.

Novice strength to you my love. I put my boyfriend shorts on this morning and mine gape at the back too. I tried the 27s but they felt too snug. I like my shorts loose and slouchy so I just pull them down onto my hips a bit more and wear a belt. I'm not convinced they are the most flattering shorts from the rear as the pockets are low, but they're good for the ££.
Off to start prepping - see you on the other side!
