Continuing. From here some of us may have jetted off to far flung foreign parts, but we're still friendly, fabulous even in the heat wave and full of frivolous fashion talk. Come and join us Smile

So am I novice wanted it dealt with straight away to lessen the pain and damage!

I doubt I could get Loubs to fit me, as nice as they look as I have no arch to my foot so the front of my foot is slightly wider than the heel and I've always been told they are a narrow fit

AmberNectarine · 07/08/2014 08:56

Which ones do you have Novice? I've got the Pigalles and after a couple of hours I may as well plunge my foot into a bucket of razors. Gucci/Jimmy Choo way more comfortable. Not tried my Wangs yet...

MarshaBrady · 07/08/2014 09:00

I had some ivory ones for my wedding, cpw terrible. They didn't really fit my foot (too delicate) otherwise I would have worked out a way to keep wearing them. And they have grass stains so couldn't sell them.

Drywhiteplease · 07/08/2014 09:09
Hmm

Novice you live at Downton Abbey don't you? I really think you need a butler Wink and jewellery curator, moi

Shop coming along nicely thanks. The building is done, scaffolding gone and looks fab front the outside. V pleased, our builder is v proud of his stone work, now it's all going on inside. This week it's first fixing the plumbing for bathrooms. Kind of makes going to the loo interesting and a bit stressfulGrin when we get back from our holidays the bathrooms should be in and plastering in the bedroom done. Can't wait. Then I start with the fun stuff.....colours.

Hello, just back from my hols. Haven't really caught up but would like to give big hugs to Shop for the loss of Shopdog Thanks and to One hope everyday is getting easier for you.

No fashion news from me but arrived home to a catalogue from Wrap and saw some really nice boots in there, will link once I'm on the laptop.

libertychick · 07/08/2014 10:30

Morning all. Welcome back Betty.
one glad to hear your tooth is sorted.

I am just wearing a skirt and silk t shirt. Decided not to bother with a jacket but now I am cold! Come back sunshine!

libertychick · 07/08/2014 10:31

B

libertychick · 07/08/2014 10:32

one how is DP getting on in London? Is he settling in to his new job OK?

Stokey · 07/08/2014 11:09

Love that Joseph coat Mara Envy

Had to take DD1 to the eye hospital this morning so completely missed Roland Mouret, apparently it's all sold out on line now. But patching has really improved her eye so it is all good.

Did anyone get anything - pink dress Blair?

maradesbois · 07/08/2014 11:11

Just popping in to say Outnet extra 50% off plenty of stuff!

Stokey · 07/08/2014 11:41

Dangerous Mara

I just bought a Joseph top, red Goat dress and blue top. Hopefully at least one of them won't fit!

maradesbois · 07/08/2014 11:56

Stokey good haul. Particularly love the red dress. I have ordered these. Need white heels to replace some old Gucci ones from years ago that are pretty trashed. Partly also hoping no good, want to focus on saving for that green Joseph coat.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/08/2014 13:20

Stokey the RM for BR has been an unmitigated fail for me. Turns out it was only available online yesterday, and in stores today. I only ever saw the 7th August written down anywhere and didn't get an email yesterday morning so I didn't know. Oh well.

Thanks for the heads up mara, I got Carven top which I've liked since I first saw it in SS13. :)

Hi betty hope you had a lovely holiday.

OneLittleLady · 07/08/2014 14:08

He's getting on ok liberty better than I'm doing I think, thanks for asking

OneLittleLady · 07/08/2014 14:41

Do you think I could pull off a leather pencil skirt? I hope so since I just bought one.......

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/08/2014 14:50

Definitely One! Link?

OneLittleLady · 07/08/2014 15:12

I can't find it online blair Sad

Topazandpearl · 07/08/2014 15:58

Santa I'm with Dry on the rust Celine tote- gorgeous! Actually I find myself focussing on bags at the moment. I loved that DVF one Liberty, shame it wasn't right. I also really like the Fossil one that Dry linked. I think it is because I find it hard to think about AW when the weather is still good so bags take my attention.

That being said, I loved that Joseph coat Mara, the colour would really suit you.

One I hope you have recovered from the dental treatment and looking forward to the weekend. Is your DP coming home? I know it has been hard but you have done so well to get through these days and nights, and I know we can't really judge just from your posts, but you do sound more yourself, if that makes sense. A leather skirt sounds great.

I don't know Bournemouth Shop but hope you get somewhere nice. Sometimes upscale B&Bs can be better than so-so hotels, might be worth a look (thought not such a good idea if you want hotel facilities, which with your DS, you probably do - ignore me!)

Linus glad you got to relax last night. I hope the DCs are a bit easier today.

Novice bet you were glad to escape! Your outfit sounded lovely and I hope your feet have recovered.

Good shopping Stokey. I especially like the red dress (like mara, great shoes btw!)

OneLittleLady · 07/08/2014 16:02

topaz Dp will be home tomorrow until late Monday afternoon. I can't wait. Tbh, I don't really feel like myself at all but I'm trying to at least pretend I'm feeling positive and upbeat, fake it til you make it, or something anyway

Topazandpearl · 07/08/2014 16:19

One fake it til you make it is a good strategy. Have a lovely, lovely weekend! x

annielewis · 07/08/2014 16:24

Struggling again to keep up and find the time to log in and concentrate. A lot of shit going on here at AnnieHQ - fear I may be a bit of a lurker for a bit!

Just popped in to wave - hope everyone is doing ok, so sorry to hear shopdog has passed away. Hope you're ok shop.

No fashion news really - am finding myself waiting for the A/W stuff now - am loving the warm weather but want to be wearing boots and sweaters and cozy things! Must be mad!!!!

shopafrolic · 07/08/2014 16:58

Really fashion related frustrating day.
The Rag & Bone boots arrived. The Outnet said size up so I did - they are too big. Shame as they would be perfect if they fitted GRRRR
I was back in Milton Keynes today so I went back to GAP to try the khakis. They didn't have the floral ones but I came away with these only to get home and find they are 20% off online with free delivery with code COOLDEAL. Hate it when store and web prices are inconsistent. Sort it out GAP (and J Crew).
And then was halfway home when the jewellers called to tell me my other watch is ready for collection - which means I will have to make a 3rd trip in a week!
I know what everyone means about thinking about AW stuff more now, but I am still very much enjoying the sun. :)

bettykt · 07/08/2014 17:07

How annoying Shop I too hate it when store and web prices differ, also hate it when something I see in store is not available to order online grrr

Annie sorry to hear things aren't great at the moment for you Thanks

One glad you survived the week and soon dp will be here

Mara lovely coat and a great colour too.

Here are the boots I've got my eye on. Not sure about cpw though which is something I'm going to try and consider much more when buying something in future.
