Should be asleep but quick one for dry

I think the Jimmies come up big but maybe that's because I am a pear.

I am currently a 28 in TS Leigh skinnies and wear a 26 in my current Jimmies.

Night night!

maradesbois · 06/07/2014 21:48

liberty I love that jumper! Have a theory cashmere dress in olive green that wear loads. Could swap it for my Joseph dress if you're interested? Is size 12.

LinusDKD · 06/07/2014 21:48

Oh and you should have asked to try mine on yesterday! Wink I wouldn't have minded.

libertychick · 06/07/2014 21:56

Mara thanks for the offer, I love Joseph but nude doesn't work on me at all! I got the jumper via another MNV regular Justa who got it in an outnet clearance day for about £20 and I have worn it several times so I would feel bad taking anything for it TBH. Happy to post it to you - pm your address.

QueenCardigan · 06/07/2014 21:58

lib lovely cardi. I'm assuming it pastel pink rather than just a hint of pink? What material is it? Have you thought of dyeing it?

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2014 22:05

Liberty a different one, it was apple green Tory Burch I think.

libertychick · 06/07/2014 22:09

It's a dusty pink QueenC, almost a pinkish nude. Good point re dyeing it. I'll double check the material, can't remember and too lazy to pull it out right now.

Topazandpearl · 06/07/2014 22:11

Lost a post grrrrr.

I have the ionic brush Lib and found it made a subtle difference, which it was worth having for. I only use it when I blow dry with my BBH, which I am not doing at the moment (my BBH broke and I haven't got round to replacing it yet. I prefer letting my hair go wavy in the summer).

Speaking of hair, fedup and liberty, your curls/waves are lovely and shiny. What's your secret??

Regrets:things like a purple Damsel in a Dress coat, which I bought in a sale. I got sucked in by the bargain but it was always too big and not me. It has just gone into a charity bag. I can't think of anything I regret not getting. I have learned that if I miss out on something that there will always be something else I want.

Hello! Dsis and I have had a terrific day although we are both massive massive Federer fans so SadSadSad. I have kind of got a headache now from shouting myself hoarse for 4 hours. I am kind of beginning to regret now not buying the 2 debentures, esp as dh had made me do this-->Shock by agreeing to it and then I felt guilty about the cost in case we didn't get a return in our investment so I didn't do it.

I have am annual clear out so I don't usually leave bad choices hanging around. I do however have a Jaeger longline wool wrap coat It was £299. A sill buy, proof being it's still got the tags on, almost 2 years later. It's way too long for me and it's a size 8 and for some reason hangs off me. not if keep guzzling prosecco. Anyway, if by next MU, it hasn't left the wardrobe I shall bring it to give it to a good home as it's silly for it to be just sat there.

I am in my pjs and haven't taken my cocktail ring off from earlier today. I luffs it. Little things make me happyGrin

libertychick · 06/07/2014 22:30

It's taken a while to get them shiny Topaz but I have been doing the curly girl method.

In a nutshell, use sulphate and silcone free hair products (I use Body shop rainforest shampoo and Boots Naked conditioner), don't towel dry your hair, wrap in up when wet in a cotton t-shirt or microfibre towel, use curl cream or gel with no silicones (I use Book Naked curl cream or Umberto Gianni curl gel), put the curl cream or gel in when your hair is soaking wet then wrap it in the t-shirt or microfibre towel to take off the main wetness. Then allow to dry naturally or use a diffuser on very low setting.

I used to use the BBH but I think it fries curly hair. I was thinking of trying the hairbrush as after a couple of days the curl falls out so I was wondering if the brush would smooth it out on those days.

Oh and getting a 'curly girl' cut made a huge difference to how my hair sits.

Infact Sleep looking at Laura Weir's outfit I actually love the whole thing, could see me wearing that skirt. Love it. Per Una Shock Grin bet it's not in shops yet

libertychick · 06/07/2014 22:36
Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 22:37

Wwwwoooooaaaaah what's happened to Per Una?

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 22:41

mon dieu, en blue

bettykt · 06/07/2014 22:45

Loving all the renditions of the MU, everyone sounds super stylish and great fun too.

Hope you get your bag QueenC very understated, are you going to keep your new name?

Regret purchases, I'm a sucker for coats and jackets and seem to buy them a lot then realise I don't actually need them. Bought a flowery Boden dress a few years ago that I've never worn, it was in my wardrobe until recently and I'd stare at it thinking why on earth did I buy it, luckily it didn't cost ££. I regret buying yellow sandals this summer and whilst I like them, tan would have been more practical so now I'm trying to find tan sandals now which I'll probably wear a lot more.

Topazandpearl · 06/07/2014 22:50

Thanks Liberty, I am already doing some of that (Naked shampoo and conditioner and Boots curl creme). I will try the t shirt method and look out for the other products you mentioned.

I loved Laura Weir's outfit too Dry and had the same thought -PerUna Shock.

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 22:54

Ok, question for you;
As you know I've been looking for a beautiful, classic, black suede court.
like this
this
and this
Haven't tried any yet, but quality/comfort wise which would you go for? I have wide feet.

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 22:58

And Mara talking about my saving for the bag and subsequent spending binge has reminded me that I must get back on track......one nice thing from time to time. Please remind me.Smile

libertychick · 06/07/2014 22:58

Lovely skirts Dry. Wonder what sizing is like though? I used to buy pencil skirts for work in M&S all the time a few years ago but they seem to have changed their hip/waist ratio and none of them fit me now. That Laura Weir look is great today.

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 22:58

Topaz it's not in yet Sad

libertychick · 06/07/2014 23:01

I have some Whistles loafers Dry and the quality is excellent. They still look like new after over a year of wear.

I like the Florettes - both Hopefully and Shop rate them I think.

libertychick · 06/07/2014 23:04

So DH has been looking through the list I gave him for my birthday and has just come in to ask me about these and to ask am I serious? Grin

He looked totally baffled and said 'but they are crap for summer and winter'. He's not going to get them...went off muttering about my ability to waste money...

shopafrolic · 06/07/2014 23:04

Damn it! Missed Lib's jumper. Bloody missed it when on sale on the Outnet too! It wasn't meant to be.
No regret purchases for me after my pre turning 40 wardrobe cull (6 bin bags full of mistakes). I wear it all now and anything I don't I've sold or shared with you lovely lot!
