And we're actually dc-free atm and we could go out, but I don't think I could look at a glass of bubbles right now, let alone drink it Wink

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2014 19:02

Er, can someone remind me of the stamen comment....must have drank more than I thought Grin

LinusDKD · 06/07/2014 19:10

Evening!

Spent most of the day outside with the DC as we had glorious weather here. It looks like there's a thunderstorm on the way though this evening.

Soooo tired so I will try and catch up later and also do a roundup. But maybe it'll be tomorrow...

Before I forget, I think it was shop and someone else who were interested in the This Works Leg Miracle and I have found a less £££ alternative in Boots when I was in London (recommended by a beauty blogger)

It's by Rimmel and the principle is the same, it's a tinted moisturiser you put on your legs and wash off with soap and water in the evening.

I'm not going to lie, I prefer the texture of the This Works one which is more of a serum/gel but the Rimmel one gets good results as well.

I was panicking slightly when I saw the colour (even though I went for the lightest option) and it did require extra blending on my legs but I was very happy with the result. Less subtle than the TW one but not at all orange.

Will try and find a link.

LinusDKD · 06/07/2014 19:12

Rimmel

LinusDKD · 06/07/2014 19:15

Oh and I saw this bag in a magazine I bought in the airport and I love the shape and the fact it's crossbody.

I know Radley gets a lot of stick on S&B and I really don't need another crossbody bag but maybe one of you might like it.

libertychick · 06/07/2014 19:29

One has snapped up the linen trousers and the green cords so just the Espirit and James Jeans left....

I have a tan cross body Radley that I really love Linus. I just took the little dog off. I like the shape of the one you have linked a lot.

Couple of follow up questions from yesterday...

Shop I really liked your neon belt - where is it from? I'd like something similar to wear with the crofts.

QueenC your pink lippy and nail varnish were just perfect - brands and colours please as I will just go straight out and copy you on those.

Sleep what brand self tan do you use?

Mara I have meant to ask you for ages if you bought the Babyliss iconic brush and if so how do you find it?

QueenCardigan · 06/07/2014 19:35

Thanks lib. Lipstick is house of colour no62. Nail varnish is Rita Ora for rimmel don't be shy.

linus remind me where you got that lovely cobalt bracelet from.

OneLittleLady · 06/07/2014 19:36

Linus I have a Radley bag that I use every day. MIL gave it to me. I, like Liberty, took the dog off it

QueenCardigan · 06/07/2014 19:41

I love radley bags, think they're really great quality and I don't even mind the dog.

I'm still buzzing from the mu. Enjoyed it far more than last time as I wasn't so nervous!

Sunday night question...what's the purchase you've regretted? This is following on from a conversation that dry and I had. Mine is the jaegar white blouse as it cost loads (for me) and I'm too scared to wear it.

QueenCardigan · 06/07/2014 19:43

this may have to go on my birthday list unless it goes in the sale before then.

AmberNectarine · 06/07/2014 20:14

Probably the VW anglomania dress that I have never worn and is now far too big for me.

QueenCardigan · 06/07/2014 20:18

How come you've never worn it amber? I would have thought it was your sort of thing. Presumably you can sell it and make some money or pass it onto me Grin

OneLittleLady · 06/07/2014 20:19

I don't really think I've got anything I regret, i regret more the things I didn't buy. I missed out on a VW dress I really loved as I decided to be sensible and use the money for paying bits and bobs off. I really regret not getting it now

AmberNectarine · 06/07/2014 20:26

QueenC (loving the name change btw), I think you're the same size as me! Down to 8st 11 now. I will never be over 9st again until Xmas

If we're talking about things we regret NOT buying, the Charlotte Olympia toucan clutch is my one that got away.

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2014 20:30

Hideous green cashmere jumper from the outnet. Of course I only realised it later and had to wear it a few times but I looked and felt like a fuzzy elf.

A few recently I wish I had bought. That Sonia R navy skirt, I had net yet been paid and now it's gone and the yellow GR heels ditto.

maradesbois · 06/07/2014 20:39

queenc bag is lovely. I get ideas about brands that I think I dislike/ are just not me, some egs are radley, boden, next, Michael kors, roberto cavalli to name a few... That is a little gem though.

Re question I bought a Joseph shift dress in sale a couple of years ago for a wedding. It is nude coloured which does nothing for me, fit is all wrong and decided not to wear but stupidly never sent it back. Is still in wardrobe with tags on so should eBay it.

liberty I never got round to buying that brush, had forgotten about it tbh. Really wanted it pre holidays earlier this year to avoid summer frizz but my hair is behaving atm so will hold off for a bit. Let me know what you think if you go for it.

shopafrolic · 06/07/2014 20:41

Lib belt was GAP
Had wine with dinner. Big mistake. Huge!

amber after giving up chocolate and buying yet another cardi yesterday I felt the name change was apt.

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 21:17

I've been to the Tour de France! Blimey they are quick. Bike

No hangover tea on train helped and back on the proseccos (mixed with Creme de cassis, oh yeh) at BBQ this afternoon.
I wore dark wash Gap legging jean, long orange vest over white vest and gold Gigis , gold necklace.

MU was awesome. The resumes are fab. So glad I can put faces to Mara Topaz Fedup Blair and linus

linus I need your jeans details please.
Mara I meant to say your black leather bracelet, wound round right wrist...Hermes? I loved/ want it was just dazzled by your ringGrin

I'd like to clarify that Sleep was wearing a Tart dress, not a tart dress Grin and yes, I love Laura's hoes p.50.

QueenC feel free to touch my hair next time Grin

santamarianovella · 06/07/2014 21:19

Love the bag queen, the color is very chic ,and your new name is very true!

I do have a few regrets, Loubs gold wedges ,i ended up selling them on eBay,and made some good ££,but wish I bought something else instead, and an msgm dress,I've worn maybe twice,I wanted to wear it for my big 30, but ended up wearing a velvet cream crochet dress,

My "wish I bought" are loads!: APC chambray belted dress, it didnt cost loads, and I thought no,better not ,will get it in sales, and now I'm kicking myself, and GR white pumps, wish I bought them,

libertychick · 06/07/2014 21:29

Dry, Linus's jeans are the Paige Jimmy Jimmy boyfriend skinny.

Drywhiteplease · 06/07/2014 21:37

Ooooh no, thanks liberty, how do they come up size wise? They look much looser in the pic than on Linus, they looked better on l

libertychick · 06/07/2014 21:41

I don't have too many things I regret buying but then I tend to get rid of mistakes very quickly as I dislike having things around that I feel guilty about Smile

My main regret is that I spent years not buying nice things because I constantly felt I was too fat and should not buy nice things until I was slim Confused Needless to say I am over that attitude now.

But the question has got me thinking a clear out is in order!

Would anyone like this jumper? (is this the one you got rid of Marsha). I think it's nice but the colour doesn't suit me. It's a size medium BTW

This is also free to a good home. Again it's a lovely cardi but the colour does nothing for me. It's H&M, size 12 and fairly decent quality IMO.

libertychick · 06/07/2014 21:43

I think they are true to size Dry. The ones I have (vis Linus and Shop) are 30 which is my usual size in jeans. The fit on me is similiar to how they fit on Linus.
