Here too, my keep and happy rates are much higher these days. Group vetting definitely helps loads.

OneLittleLady · 06/07/2014 23:09

shop I'm waiting for the weather to cool down so I can wear the sequin cat sweatshirt you sent me. I keep stroking it when I catch sight of it in the wardrobe! It's not a buying it regret but I am regretting the fact I haven't had a chance to wear my Michael - Michael Korrs dress yet. the christmas event I was meant to be going to ended up being cancelled and there hasn't been an excuse to wear it since. At this rate, I'm going to have to wear it to sainsburys or something Grin

shopafrolic · 06/07/2014 23:11

Does it still fit you One ? (Now that you are the incredible shrinking woman) :)

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 06/07/2014 23:17

it does still fit Shop it seems surprisingly able to accommodate both my bigger and smaller self. I think the draping across the front is what does it. It may have to altered if I get any smaller but MIL has had a look at it and says she'll be able to alter it if it needs it as the actual shape of the side seams is fairly simple so it should be with me for a while yet!

Topazandpearl · 06/07/2014 23:44

I'd go for whichever are more comfortable and stayed on my feet Dry. I have [http://www.dunelondon.com/anarla-suede-pointed-toe-heeled-court-shoe-0100508890002011/ these] in pink but I have a tendency to walk out of them (especially after one too many proseccos!)

Topazandpearl · 06/07/2014 23:45

Don't know what happened with the link but it works.

QueenCardigan · 07/07/2014 07:10

dry they all look the same to me but the florets look like they have slightly smaller heels so depends what you can walk in.

MarshaBrady · 07/07/2014 09:10

Dry for once I do think, wow they are similar. But the floretes look slightly lower, and I like the shape, so go for those.

shopafrolic · 07/07/2014 09:23

Dry can open links on laptop - say Whistles if you want a really high shoe, Floretes if you want a classic go with anything court - I love mine with both dresses and boyfriend jeans / skinnies - they are a fab comfortable classic shoe.
DS slept from 3pm until 8.30 last night and then 9pm until 7am. Thankfully he seems better today and said he wanted to go to nursery so we'll see how he gets on.....
I'm wearing this James Perse dress today. I have no make up on and a pair of Birkenstocks and yet 3 people on the school run said how good I looked! (I should make less effort more often).
I may have found the perfect strapless bra so I thought I'd share as I really struggle to find comfortable ones. bra here. The sides of it use [stay in place technology] so they grip to the skin well but without that horrible silicone stuff. Will have to see how it washes but haven't had to yank it up yet!

Shop thanks for the bra link am in desperate need for a strapless bra that stays put, glad ds is feeling better and woo hoo to you looking good on the school run.

Dry if I was going on looks alone I'd go for the Floretes, they have that certain something about them, and look VERY classic, I like them a lot.

maradesbois · 07/07/2014 09:46

Morning!

Enjoying poached eggs and smoked salmon in the sun, yum. Wearing the maxi dress I had wanted to wear for the mu so at least it's getting an airing.

shop thanks for strapless bra link, I need a better one. Btw take liberty's jumper, may well be too dark for me and especially if you were after it when on outnet. Leave you both to arrange.

dry leather bracelet is Hermes. Was a gift from dh a few years ago but think they have them all the time.

LinusDKD · 07/07/2014 09:57

Morning!

Glad to hear your DS is feeling better shop!

I thinkt the aircon in the hotel and airplane made my cold worse as I am a snotty mess today.

Right, better late than never, my roundup of the MU

dry has got lovely hair (but we knew that already) and has a bum you could bounce coins off in that lovely pencil skirt. Wink. It's a shame we didn't get to talk much.

shop has great legs and the AH bag is the perfect bag for her. Oh and I forgot to ask you which eyeliner you use and how you keep in from smudging under your eyes. (I hardly ever use a liner under my eyes for that reason)

marsha has the body and legs of a supermodel and looked überstylish in her blue GR heels and MaxMara flowery skirt.

mara dazzled me with her bling and her gorgeous hair.

queenc again, gorgeous hair (colour and fringe) and I loved your top.

Btw, I ordered the bracelet from the Dressing Room website and it's a brand called Jiya.

I loved fedup's yellow trousers and topaz' gorgeous watch.

blair looked lovely in her pencil skirt and I can't wait to see your engagement ring.

novice lived up to her reputation as the queen of bling and is a petite as I imagined her to be.

sleep looked amazing in her dress and I was impressed she could go bra-less Wink

And liberty has gorgeous curly hair and looked amazing in her skirt.

A big thank you to shop for organising everything and to you all for making me feel welcome and treating me like an old friend!

libertychick · 07/07/2014 10:12

Mara we have always operated 'first come, first served' on these clothes swops! How about I send it to you and if it's not right then shop gets to try next. I think I recall a pair of jeans that decam offered having 3 of us in the queue :)

shopafrolic · 07/07/2014 10:12

Linus these are the eyeliners I use. Waterproof and don't budge. The one I had on at the MU was a dark greeny grey called Celadon. I won't use any others now....

shopafrolic · 07/07/2014 10:14

YY Mara you try the sweater. Definitely x

libertychick · 07/07/2014 10:24

BTW QueenC the cardi is 50/50 cotton and modal so it would dye well I think. If no one wants to try it in next few days then I'll try to dye it but ATM it is still up for grabs...

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/07/2014 10:48

Morning! shop my sister is an Autumn and she looks stunning in that dark green colour so I'm not surprised you got compliments :)

Dry another vote for the Floretes, I've read so many good things about them. Also I have wide feet too so I'd be interested in how you find them.

On the subject of disaster purchases - oh lots of things up until about 2 years ago. Zara pleather leggings, just the wrong shape and length for my legs, but they were selling out so I thought they must be good. All scarves, ever (scarves aren't me). J Brand jeans in a size 29, I thought I was a 29 but they have always been too big.

Actually that could be my first swap - the J brands are these, "Agnes" style, black, silver zips, probably worn twice. If anyone would like them, let me know.

OneLittleLady · 07/07/2014 11:03

They look lovely Blair but I very much suspect they'd be far too slim on the calf for me. I have extremely muscly calves, no amount of weightloss changes them as they are solid muscle not fat!

maradesbois · 07/07/2014 11:27

sleep's fab Tart dress just in on Outnet in midnight blue.

LinusDKD · 07/07/2014 12:03

Just ordered this top in cobalt.

I had seen it on SusieSoSo's blog in black and as it's one of the few Madewell things we can order online and because it's reduced I decided to go for it.

AmberNectarine · 07/07/2014 12:34

I had those Agnes jeans Blair. Bought them at 38wks pg (why?!) and got a 30! Needless to say they were on eBay about 3 weeks later (idiot).

Turquoiseblue · 07/07/2014 12:56

Afternoon all, home after lovely weekend overnight. Had lovely SIL stay last night too which was lovely (she has similar interests of fizz and fashion plus she lives close to j crew so does y shopping sometimesWink). I m still Hmm I missed MU and meeting everyone, feel a little 'unfamiliar' now.

Shopping regrets - hmm red Valentino dress I loved the pattern on, never sat right, worn once waste of money
Like the others I ve probably more that 'got away' as I dither too much! Have taken to ordering stuff I like now though as I know I can return it! Missed the lovely IRO jacket on MW Friday though.

I returned my JP dress, just felt it wasn't quite right for what I wanted. Not dressy enough even though I loved re style.

Turquoiseblue · 07/07/2014 12:57

Queen C- clever name change Grin
Dry- floretts

BrandyAlexander · 07/07/2014 13:03

love reading other people's mu round ups as we all notice slightly different things! and bless you for calling me petiteSmile though it turns out fedup might officially be the smallest as I think she said she was 5'0 and I am 5'1.75 - note the 0.75 everyone!

Linus hope you feel better, those short flights can be a bugger.

I might nip over to the outnet and look at sleeps gorgeous dress. actually how did Mr Sleep keep his hands to himself?Wink

today I am wearing Austin Reed signature red dress with capped sleeves with louboutins. from Saturday (and tennis yesterday) I have still got my black prada bag, boodles raindance ring and studs. I have added in silver flower watch and red rose necklace which I wore to previous mu. love the necklace as it was £6Grin

OneLittleLady · 07/07/2014 13:06

novice I think I'm shortest, I'm 4' 11''! I've been measured twice in the last six months and both times have come out at 4'11'', for years I thought I was 5'1'' but I'm not Sad
