dry my personal preference is for the floretes, they have a nice line. As betty says though, you shouldn't go for them if you see them as a dull option. If you can walk in the others and like the shape go for it! D

maradesbois · 13/07/2014 11:13

Oops posted to soon. Was going to say DON'T get both! You can always hold off for the perfect pair somewhere else when more a/w stock around.

shopafrolic · 13/07/2014 11:25

Morning all!
Dry I don't love the Harley as I don't think they look worth the money. But, if you don't like a pointed toe then don't get the Floretes - wait. There'll be loads around soon.
No style news here - have been tidying the garden in cut off denim shorts and a crappy old tee. Grin
Yesterday I wore my Me&em maxi and my Gables - for shopping (house stuff), watch repair advice, and lunch with DH and DS.
Am kicking myself about my MK rose gold watch. The battery ran out after a year so I took it to a local jeweller and got it replaced. The battery has run out again 6 months later. The jeweller I went to yesterday said that it may actually have a fault but by getting the battery replaced locally I may have invalidated the 2 year warranty. So off to Fossil (who make MK watches) it goes. Keep your fingers crossed. The strap is so tarnished and worn - they cannot replate it so a new strap would be £80. I wouldn't get a rose gold plated watch again. I'm gutted as this was my 40th birthday present from all my friends so was hoping it would look good for longer.

I'd go Russell and Bromley over LKB any day dry - these are lovely, for example.

I've had quality issues with LKB footwear, and they can be shitty about returns. I won't buy shoes from them again.

Drywhiteplease · 13/07/2014 12:54

Shit.....I've left my Gucci watch in the gym................Sad

AmberNectarine · 13/07/2014 12:56

My kenzo ring is still in the gym till and has been for a couple of weeks - hope you get it back dry!

Drywhiteplease · 13/07/2014 13:17

Phew they found it.
Re shoes I don't dislike the pointy toe, infact that's what I need really.
Amber I'll try the R and B one too.
So Florettes and R and B so far.

Ooooh.....Gap chino bf shorts in navy, gold Gigis and very old white linen halter neck top, feels as if I'm on holiday .

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 13/07/2014 13:32

Dry don't buy what you don't love - quickest way to the poorhouse!

I'm a R&B girl too - you can usually find what you want there and they always have so many colour/fabric options (patent/matt/suede/sparkly), so if you like a style, chances are you'll find it in a colourway/finish you want.

ATM today's outfit is ancient Jack Wills skinny track pants and almost-as-elderly khaki Zara linen Tee, nicely accessorized with Ugg sheepskin flip flops! I have been doing housework though and I promise to change before heading down to Waitrose although I did once see a girl in shortie PJs, slipper boots and curlers in there Shock

Secretsquirrel13 · 13/07/2014 14:06

Yes if you love the Harleys then get them but agree was going to say r&b too. But if you do get the LKB ones can you buy from john lewis as they are fab at returns exchanges etc. no just changed my mind again go for r&b or maybe look at sam edelman too, my other favourite brand.

Secretsquirrel13 · 13/07/2014 14:07

Hobbs or whistles too?

QueenCardigan · 13/07/2014 14:29

dry I love the Harley's. But I'm much more a round toe than pointed.

We've just spent the morning at soft play. Wearing cropped jeans, navy/white spotty top and saltwaters.

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2014 15:00

I have been disgraceful and am in trouble with my family.

I am now with friends with puffy eyes and drinking prosecco. Cin cin (is that how you do it?) my lovelies.

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2014 15:04

Ps and friends are making me laugh a lot which is a great thing. And my Matches has been dispatched.

libertychick · 13/07/2014 15:26

Oh Marsha (((hugs))) are you ok?

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2014 15:46

Liberty thanks lovely I'm ok. I went somewhere I probably shouldn't have. At my age, tsk.

Silly really, but maybe some kind of closure. That's life, I suppose, you can't get everything you would like to have.

I realise I'm probably incomprehensible!

libertychick · 13/07/2014 16:00

I'm glad you are ok and with friends. No need to explain yourself - we all have complications in our lives - just sending you happy, safe, positive vibes xxx

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2014 16:05

Argh I am being dramatic and unclear, sorry.

Will recompose.

libertychick · 13/07/2014 16:08

You are fine, lovely, don't stress about it.

MarshaBrady · 13/07/2014 16:28

I should clarify not my actual family, but parents etc am a big tipsy. But am over it now.

Some good fashion here today.

shopafrolic · 13/07/2014 19:56
