And fibrology makes my hair grim. First use - great. Second consecutive use - a weird combination of greasy build uppy and yet still oddly bouffanty.

TroyMcClure · 12/06/2014 21:32

it just takes off make up surely. Does it claim to do anything else? dust your skirtings?

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 12/06/2014 21:32

I do love hot cloth cleansing though. I use a muslin though, not a flannel fan.

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 12/06/2014 21:32

Too many thoughs

TroyMcClure · 12/06/2014 21:33

I need a shampoo ( not too $$$) to smooth down the hair at the roots, I am not using straighteners and i have a hint de frizz.
Oil/serum can make it go lank

love that " washing your face"= ' hot cloth cleansing'

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 12/06/2014 21:34

Oh I love the Fibrology (at last, my hair isn't flat and limp).

I love the Aquiss hair drying towel.

I love the Muji nail clippers.

I'm Sali's bitch (except for the Sleek CC cream - muddy colours. The TopShop BB. Cream is much better).

TroyMcClure · 12/06/2014 21:35

nail clippers? how can that even be a recommendation

its like saying : hey folks! try a WOODEN SPOON to stir things with

All the talk of bioderma being the holy grail and it's the latest thing. FADDY shoite. And it makes my skin all tight and reactive, all that guff about being as gentle as water. Bolleaux

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/06/2014 21:36

Frizz Ease is good, but my scalp can't cope with it. My hair likes it.

Elsiequadrille · 12/06/2014 21:37

I don't like that one of her tips to look younger is to try fake eyelashes! I've always thought they had the opposite effect.

But I've bought some of her recommendations and they've become staples, and started hot cloth cleansing because of her columns. On the whole I like her advice very much.

NinetyNinePercentTroll · 12/06/2014 21:40

Elsie - I look like a tranny camel in falsies

MorrisZapp · 12/06/2014 21:40

La Roche Posay is gorgeous stuff though, and v affordable, especially as it's often a third off on websites and in Boots.

The hand cream is my HG.

GatoradeMeBitch · 12/06/2014 21:40

Which NARS multiple do you have? South Beach is amazing!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 12/06/2014 21:40

Grin Troy. She was saying that they are the sharpest nail clippers. And they have a cover. True and true. I've found my clippers.

MorrisZapp · 12/06/2014 21:41

Oh and I rushed to Muji for the nail clippers. They didn't snigger as I paid for them, what polite staff they have.

Elledouble · 12/06/2014 21:43

Oh, I quite like Sali. I bought Benetint and the Clarins Lotus Oil on her recommendation and I really like them.

ThisBitchIsResting · 12/06/2014 21:49

I have been experimenting of late with pricey shampoos (Kerastase) and have come to the conclusion that hair care is like skin care and just needs to be gentle and thorough, and it doesn't matter what products you use. Sort of. So anyway I've now got pink Herbal Essences every other day and it's going well - my hair is smooth but not siliconey. I've stopped shampooing twice and scrubbing at (massaging) my scalp and my hair has chilled out accordingly.

francesthebadger · 12/06/2014 22:19

The fibrology shampoo is fantastic (and cheap). And I really like her column. .

Kundry · 12/06/2014 22:23

I love Kerastase which has transformed my fine, frizzy hair from dry stalks to a thing of beauty.

However if you try hard enough you can figure out which L'Oreal shampoos are the cheap versions of the Kerastase - so L'Oreal Everriche is now doing exactly the same job for me as Kerastase Resistance at less than half the price Smile

Cereal0ffender · 12/06/2014 22:27

It's like you are all on borgen speaking a language that I should understand but somehow can't. 'Nars micella fantashiche sex!'

TroyMcClure · 12/06/2014 22:51

Lol at everrichhe.

It's like the wagamama dish "raisunkuree". Which is rice and curry.

I loved the video she's just done of her makeup kit bag.

here

It makes me want to stalk her, and break into her house and steal it.

iK8 · 12/06/2014 23:55

I will not hear a bad word about Sali. Love her.

iK8 · 13/06/2014 00:19

I just watched that whole video about the make up kit. Zachary, I'm coming with you!
