Am now preparing to visit Dparents with DS and DD. Delaying…procrastinating…And DS is playing Bohemian Rhapsody on the piano for the squillionth time. Actually he plays it very well, but there is too much of a good thing. I need to get them out..
WAF what is your script? I'm trying my hand at script writing for the first time…it's exciting and scary in equal measure...

Rosebag · 04/06/2014 13:46

CV of course…penny's dropping Grin

herbaceous · 04/06/2014 13:48

We met WAF at the first meet up! She was then Dukes...

Is that right? Have I gone mad?

Stropperella · 04/06/2014 13:51

CV, I reckon you have met WAF, cos I'm sure you were both at the first Waterloo Bar & Kitchen meetup. WAF has changed her name since then.. :)

Stropperella · 04/06/2014 13:51

x-posts, Herbs!

Stropperella · 04/06/2014 13:54

CV were you at the first BFI meetup?

What was the date of that first thread - have the Crepeys turned 3 yet?

bigTillyMint · 04/06/2014 13:59

Someone found it recently - I think Rudy was first to appear on it. It was about 3 years agoShock

Yes WAF was definitely at the first meet-up, and it would be lovely to see her at the next. Which will be..... when???

Rosebag, are you on FB?

Rosebag · 04/06/2014 14:14

Yes, I can PM you my name if you wanted to add me, or vice versa?

bigTillyMint · 04/06/2014 14:28

Yes, PM me!

wordassociationfootball · 04/06/2014 14:30

Indeedy Dukes I am (or was) And was at BFI AND first Waterloo Bar and Kitchen.

See CV, that's why I knew you'd look great in the dress. Cos I've seen ya!

wordassociationfootball · 04/06/2014 14:31

Would rather not say rosebag but have been at it - scriptwiting, not this particular one - for quite a few years now.

bigTillyMint · 04/06/2014 14:35

And Rosebag, seriously impressed by your DS playing Bohemian Rhapsody! How old is he? Don't say 5Grin

Blackduck · 04/06/2014 15:01

Ahhh now I hadn't clicked WAF was Dukes........

Rosebag · 04/06/2014 15:21

WAF no worries but impressive! I'm just a beginner but co writing with a professional so he keeps me in line.
BTM will PM you. Lol re BoRap! No, DS isn't a child prodigy. He's 16 and started playing quite late, year 5 I think. It's taken off recently because he has done music GCSE and will do the AS next year and had huge encouragement from brilliant teachers at school. Plus his youth theatre has put him in the youth band and vocal group and also given him loads of encouragement. So he's starting practising at last.

Blush

At least I'm not the only one who didn't make the Dukes-WAF connection (thanks, BD Wink )

wordassociationfootball · 04/06/2014 18:10

(I won't tell her you and I haven't met in RL if you don't BD Wink)

Blackduck · 04/06/2014 18:58

Sorry MI tell him 'no it is not convenient this weekend, any other weekend BUT not THIS weekend'. (Congrats on India tickets...)

SheherazadeSchadenfreude · 04/06/2014 19:23

Where have Bindi and Windy gone? Did we scare them off?

I knew that WAF was Dukes, but keep getting her confused with OPM. Confused

BFI meet up was a loooong time ago!

MI, that's pants. Where is the lunch (if near home, could you leave them to it with a dvd; if not, could they go to a cinema or something nearby)? Well done on India.

My house is far too small for two dc on study leave and a parent who works/faffs at home.....I want a holiday [wails].

motherinferior · 04/06/2014 19:56

I am mulling over options. Thing is, we have a kind of agreement that I sing, he does t'ai chi, and this is a special weekend of it (again Hmm) . I may be able to bribe them with chips in the gastopub. It's a nice pub. Also a new baby, which will entrance DD1.

Blinking Norah, MI, your DP must be a t'ai chi Master, what with all the practising he does.
