I didn't fancy any of the KM collection either. Besides, I usually find topshop is not cut for busty ladies anyway and the KM stuff is usually even smaller so not much good for me really

ujj I need to learn that, or maybe not, thinking about food ironically gets me through my exercise. Infact thinking about anything other than the torture gets me through

Is anyone else having a skirt/leg conundrum in this weather? Not warm enough for bare legs, too warm for opaques

I am Dry I also hate leggings as I also feel dumpy in them so they are out except for wearing in the house.

dry I think they any metallic leather can scratch. That's what's always put me off silver shoes/bags. And I had a metallic leather belt which scratched too. I love patent though and have an old cheap pair of next ballet flats that haven't peeled yet.

Hello from the most bizarre event I think I've ever been to, the Battersea Power Station party thang...dress code "party casual/festival chic", - no heels . Seems to be 2,500 of Londons wealthiest (us excluded from that )..looking around I suspect these people spend more time on yachts than at festivals-Coachella it ain't! Tom Odell is playing to a bunch of blokes with combovers, in expensive shoes and blazers with pocket hankies (clearly baffled as to who the fuck TO is . TO seems to be dying inside...some great handbag action from the trophy wives however - heels instruction is being blatantly ignored - except by me . Maybe it will liven up when Elton comes on!

I never remember to consider things like "will it scratch?"/crease/dry clean only etc when I buy stuff... I'm getting better though, as it obviously matters.

Dry I hope I do meet you at RA. The race entries are just starting to happen so DH and I will be perusing the horse list and figuring out what we may be running and which days we'll be there. We have enclosure badges for all days and MIL is coming over for the whole of Ascot week so our plans can be fairly fluid. I really need to catch up on highly lacking sleep before then - it's a hard week swiftly followed by horse sales in Ireland, the July festival at Newmarket, a friend's wedding, Glorious Goodwood etc etc. I'm exhausted already and the season's only just beginning!

Asos Brady boyfriend jeans arrived today. I'm undecided. I'm struggling to work out if they suit me or not. I am always late to trends and I've realised that it partly because when something is new all images of the look are on models and obviously things don't look like that on me!! So it's like I need to see it on lots of normal people before I can decide if it's a look that works on my type of body shape or not. But my word, they are comfortable! They could be keepers for that reason alone, much better for summer than skinnies.

Fedup my sulky, annoyed, post row shopping sessions are rarely successful so I suspect a lot will go back - I'll be happy if one top works out.

I'm ok thanks Marsha, just one of those stupid 'how the hell did that start' rows. We haven't made up yet though as I was at work v early and have spent all evening working and catching up with an old friend on the phone and now DH has gone to bed.

Weather is horrible today! Am wearing grey pinstripe Ann Taylor trouser suit with pink short sleeve cashmere top from the cashmere company. Both are about 8 years old and the top was a present from dsis in the year she did an all pink theme for all my Xmas presents . Accessories are Hermes diamond watch with pink straps, pink-ish PS13 handbag, reddish Elizabeth Cole Swarovski bracelet and RB shoe boots. Matchy matchy much?!

Thanks to Dry for cheering me up last night I am still chuckling over "do you know what resting means....?"
