Morning

Sleep the power station looked amazing all lit up. Hope you're not suffering today.

There's 30% off Acne at my-wardrobe with ACNEFLASH today -ankle boots a gogo!

liberty I know what you mean about seeing trends on models. Maybe try to find some pics of bloggers wearing them? The Bradys do look nice (Marsha's namesake!)

MarshaBrady · 01/05/2014 10:28

Blair there was a jumper on here once called the Marsha. I should wear both and I'd be in my name! (Only trouble is I think it had an animal on it, I don't do fox jumpers).

My me too, was for the jeans. They are really nice Liberty.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2014 11:07

Nice jeans Liberty
Your night sounded fun Sleep
I am sat in the Apple store with a handsome technical wizard sorting out my replacement laptop. I look so shit ATM it's untrue. Everything hurts. Another call with the doc this afternoon. I need to be better now. Hope you're doing ok Novice

Stokey · 01/05/2014 11:47

Poor Shop - hope you feel better, sounds like you have a really nasty virus Thanks

No fashion news except the corners on my Le Pliage have already started going - am going to go & complain as only bought it on 8 April. I have filled it with loads of kids junk but still... I expect better.

Sleep your night looked great - is it becoming a new venue o2 style? (not that I have been to a gig for years)

Annianni · 01/05/2014 12:19

Loved the photos Sleep, it sounded like a fab night.
Congratulations on passing your course too Flowers

Contrats to One too Thanks

Hope you feel better soon Shop.

Just popping in to say that Gap have 30% off in-store.
Think it's on till Sunday.

Ujjayi · 01/05/2014 12:28

Liberty I really like those boyfriend jeans. Might have to pop over to ASOS (and also check out the jersey skirts).

Novice - matchtastic. I can't do matchy-matchy. It just doesn't work for me. I have more of a "ran through a walk in wardrobe grabbing anything I could" kinda look. It is definitely changing though. I appear to be becoming more minimalist and pared down just lately.

Shop - you poor thing. Having such a long standing viral infection is so draining emotionally and physically. Hope your doctor can shed some more light on it all for you.

Stokey I was gifted a Pliage back in December (at one of DH's events). I have yet to use it. Are they not supposed to be very long/hard wearing bags?

My fashion news...I received my NAP delivery today. I think I was temporarily more excited about the lovely be-ribboned black box Grin. The KM kaftan is just beautiful. Really lovely quality fabric and hangs well. It is definitely a keeper. It is a perfect holiday "throw it on" for lunch or dinner with flat sandals (won't be wearing to the beach though unless I stop being so precious about it OR we win the lottery and can afford a beach butler to hang it 'just so'). I am waiting for the cream dress to arrive via Topshop. I cannot keep both...

Annianni · 01/05/2014 13:26

Just popping back to say I've got a pale grey crew neck cashmere jumper for £24-99 off the sale rail in Gap.
The Trafford centre store has loads, cardigans too.

Stokey · 01/05/2014 16:07

Bargain Anni, love a grey cashmere jumper.

So Longchamp told me the corners going on Le Pliage is "natural wear and tear", even after 3 weeks Angry.

But they do offer a free repair service, but it takes 4-6 weeks. Anyway have sent it for the repair but am not very impressed. And now will not have it for my (probably) wet Wales holiday in a fortnight.

Frustrating.

Drywhiteplease · 01/05/2014 16:40

Novice never too matchy for me Wink I try so hard to look "thrown together" but it just looks rubbish. I'm not a rock chic, thrown together woman really am I? Grin relaxed yet?!!!!......remember, bath, pjs, bed, book, cuppa tea ok?
Shop hope you got on ok. I'd love a nice young man to sort out my laptop Grin
It's chilly and damp......yuck. Wore opaques today, did not regret it.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2014 16:53

What a shitty horrible day. Yesterday I was in a tshirt, today I'm dressed for Autumn. The lovely fit and definitely too young for me even if I wasn't married man in the Apple store found all my photos. I nearly kissed him.
I ducked into GAP on my way out too Anni but in Milton Keynes. I got a pair of the Decam recommended legging jeans. Not sure it's the best time to be trying on skinny jeans when I'm so under my normal weight but hey, with 30% off it doesn't much matter. I got the regular length so they hit just above the ankle and will look nice with flats this spring. May go back for another pair in the longer length.......I also picked up a cream slouchy knit. Only 30% wool but it was £13 so no loss.
DH picked me up a copy of this week's Stylist mag. Still nicer to read in print than on the iPad. They have the 50 tracks every woman should have on her iPad so I'm going to see what I score.
Got to episode 3 last night of MadMen. He's a dark horse isn't he. Love it.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2014 16:55

Stokey that is rubbish on your Pliage. Is it leather or canvas? The one decam gave me had some damage to the corners but she'd had it longer than 3 weeks! Do let me know how the repair goes......... Disappointing.

Drywhiteplease · 01/05/2014 16:57

I have the gap legging jean, they're great Shop

MarshaBrady · 01/05/2014 16:59

I'm itching to get to Gap now, will have to wait until the weekend. I could do with some cashmere too Anni and maybe some skinnies.

How was the Dr's Shop?

Stokey how annoying.

Ujj I really liked that dress. And NaP packaging is such a bonus.

shopafrolic · 01/05/2014 17:02

The skinnies are good Marsha. The dark indigos seem to have the most stretch. The different washes are different thicknesses IYSWIM.
Will update separately about what the Dr said. X

MarshaBrady · 01/05/2014 17:03

They sound great. Will definitely check them out. Have dc around me until Saturday now, so will have to wait.

ps yes do x

Fedupnagging · 01/05/2014 17:11

Drizzly weather here too so can't decide what to wear tonight for theatre and hopefully quick dinner before , so should be getting ready feeding the kids instead on mnetting!

Looks like a great event last night sleep and bet you rocked.

Stokey that's not great for a 3wk old bag let alone a pliage.

Ujj another one who'd love a sneak peak at your clothes. They sound lovely.

Sleepwhenidie · 01/05/2014 17:15

Ooh, will have to get to Gap too - I love their cashmere. I somehow ended up buying some boyfriend jeans in Anna the other day - these, but now realise they are about half the price on Shopbop (temporary stupidity...I know this is usually the case Hmm) . So will be taking them back and ordering from SB.

Stokey Battersea is being turned into apartments with 'exclusive' shops/restaurants in the bottom part and huge communal garden on the roof and a glass lift on one of the chimneys Smile. It was very cool...there are pics of all the B list celebs I didn't recognise missed on Dailymail website if you can bear to click Grin. A lot of the guests at the party have already purchased apartments in pase 1 - yet to be completed which would explain the air of wealth about the place Grin.

Need to catch up on links.....

shopafrolic · 01/05/2014 17:32

I always lose the plot in Anna Sleep. It's the same in the Dressing Room, they suck me into a vortex where I lose all perspective of reality Grin

OneLittleLady · 01/05/2014 18:24

Hello all.

shop you poor thing, I hope you're getting as much rest and TLC as you can Thanks

sleep your night sounded fabulous

stokey terrible for a bag that's just a few weeks old

novice I hope you too are getting some rest and how is your Dsis? Thanks

dry you are the queen of matching outfits!

Today I bought a short sleeved cropped 100% cotton purple cardigan for summer and a pink paisley patterned bandanna to wear in my hair. Picked up my friends wedding dress which is now in a very sturdy bag in my wardrobe. She's coming next week for a big discussion about what alterations I'm going to do on it for her Smile

My mood has lifted considerably over the last few weeks, no further weight loss or anything but I'm holding steady and haven't put any back on despite having a celebratory curry the other night!

Apols for the essay!

LinusDKD · 01/05/2014 19:02

stokey that is bad! I just checked my two Pliages and the one I have had for years has a bit of damage on the corners and the one I've had since November last year has no damage whatsoever.

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2014 20:12

dry have done a post with pencil skirt and silver flats as requested!

shop hope you are feeling better!

stokey mine is a few years old and in pretty good nick - that is really poor.

MarshaBrady · 01/05/2014 20:25

Love the stripes Amber.

Couldn't find it on the DM site Sleep I wasn't there really, yep I was

MarshaBrady · 01/05/2014 20:36

ooh look Blair, your gorgeous Stella M skirt on WIT. So pretty.

justasecond · 01/05/2014 20:41

Sounds like you had a great night Sleep I saw the DM pics earlier and thought of you. Well done on passing your exams too btw. Those Bf jeans look really good. I also like the look of Liberty's ones from Asos. The ones I ordered from Topshop are really nice too actually. They are not very loose just a little baggier on the thighs and sort of a slim leg on the calves. they are also so comfortable
these I am wondering now if I can be bothered to order the Asos ones or just keep these. Have you tried on yet Liberty?
Shop I hope you feel better soon, you sound really run down. I think I am too. I just had the worst period ever and am sure I am aneamic again and now I have a terrible sore throat.
The gap leggin jeans are really good. I bought a pair in the dark rinse and really liked them but returned in the end as they were just a bit too tight on the legs for me.
Amber will check out your post re silver shoes as I am undecided about them atm. Are they comfy? thats my biggest fear about Next shoes. I have never tried on any comfy shoes in there.
Stokey I would go back and complain I am sure it should not be looking like that after less than a month.
Anni What a bargain! will check out Gap at weekend.
Ujjayi Your collection sounds really interesting, look forward to seeing it!

Drywhiteplease · 01/05/2014 20:42

Oooooh Amber HIT! HIT! HIT! And guess what ? I have a lace skirt AND a black and white striped top too.....I'm going to do a "you" and post the pic Grin ....not a look for my job though Sad pathetically thrilled at being called a "lovely lady"Smile
