Lol Shop Grin you know that look you linked.

I've just made bacon for a salad and if people eat it while I put a child to bed I will be highly unimpressed!

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2014 20:24

I dunno what does a fence do that clothes can't? Hmm. Boundaries

libertychick · 28/04/2014 20:28

I'm in for the MU - can't wait!

Amber - Dry would be crazy to let miniDry go shopping with you!!!! Grin Imagine the CC bill....

Novice stress definitely builds up - good call to take it a bit easier today.

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:28

LOL
Well fences don't stand there looking as fabulous as I would in £1800 worth of clothes that's for sure!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 28/04/2014 20:32

Aaah sorry shop and dry! Blush I think I must have been thinking about replying to shop's post as I wrote it. Was going to say that if a 17th May mini MU does get organised I might have to come as a practice run!

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2014 20:33

Hahaha quite Grin

I like H&M if someone else can do the shopping for me, I'm rather partial to dh's big comfy sweaters.

LinusDKD · 28/04/2014 20:34

Fences schmences! Grin

Mmmm bacon! Reminds me of the best bacon sarnie I ever had. DH, DBIL and I came home rather late and were feeling peckish so DH made us a bacon sarnie with Ginger Pig bacon. Yum!

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:36

No worries Blair she's one of my MN besties so I take it as a compliment. It'll be lovely to meet you.

LinusDKD · 28/04/2014 20:41

Oooh wouldn't it be great to have a MU and bring our favourite items of clothing and see how they look on other MNVoguettes?

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:41

I just read out your replies to DH. I think he might take his comment back!

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2014 20:42

Did he really give you the choice? Is he mad?! Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 28/04/2014 20:43

You too shop (and everyone). mmm bacon...

MarshaBrady · 28/04/2014 20:44

And one of these Shock for good measure.

Linus great idea except we get rather merry, I bet we'd all walk out wearing three outfits or something Wink

Fedupnagging · 28/04/2014 20:46

Fences are in short supply atm shop so the prices are inflated. I heard that they should be back to more normal prices by the autumn. So, if I were you, I'd have the clothes and save for a cheaper fence In the autumn. HTH Grin.

I noticed that Dune had some very Gigi 'esque sandals in stock last week -
nice but not as nice as mine!

Looks like there will be quite a few of us at the MU. do we refer to each other by our mn names?

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:47

Linus I'd walk out like this
joey

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:49

fedup whatever name works. Marsha and I can't call each other by our real names! Too weird.

Fedupnagging · 28/04/2014 20:54

'Hi, I'm Fedup, nice to meet you.' Hmmm Wink

Annianni · 28/04/2014 20:57

Evening ladies...

Shop i see your fence and I raise you a 7 or 8k heating system Envy

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 20:57

LOL

AmberNectarine · 28/04/2014 20:59

You see, I've solved the mn nickname/real name dilemma for you all already, aren't I kind/stupid?

I'm in for the MU. I really will come this time, promise!

I'd love a teenage daughter dry, can't wait for DD to be one. That said she was in H&M picking things out this afternoon and telling me 'let's get it' so I suppose I'm not far off.

shopafrolic · 28/04/2014 21:00

How was the DR event Amber?

LinusDKD · 28/04/2014 21:00

As long as you're not going commando like Joey! Grin

libertychick · 28/04/2014 21:04

Fedup I try to use proper names but as I get drunker it gets easier to use MN names. Marsha's name in particular really suits her. I quite like being called Liberty much sexier than my rather boring RL name!

Shop and Anni I had to pay my first stage MBA fees last week - sob. So much money - a couple of years worth of clothes at least. I'm thinking I will have to build in a little reward system for myself, a treat for each assignment submitted.

libertychick · 28/04/2014 21:06

Amber my DD (3) flicks through the rails like a pro going 'Ohhh this is nice' Smile

Drywhiteplease · 28/04/2014 21:24

Right;
Me
Marsha
Novice
Fedup ...."pleased to meet you Fedup" Grin
TUrquoise
Blair
Shop
Liberty
Linus
Amber

Sleep and QueenC are coming I'm sure

I get all confused with names. Like our MN names. "Hi I'm Dry" Grin....my drink orders pretty straight forward!

DD is still at the stage where she likes me and quite likes my clothes too. This may well change. I hated shopping with my mother. We never window shopped or shopped for fun, it was always shopping with a purpose in C and A and I always seemed to settle for something I hated. There were also the home made monstrosities but that's a really long story. Not even mentioning the "directional" clothes sent by French relatives psychologically scarred from the tomato red crimplene new jumpsuit with daisy zip circa 1976 explains a lot doesn't it?!!!!!!
