I have 410, Squirrel, in navy/pink.

shopafrolic · 14/05/2014 23:34

Screeches in, handbrake turn, bass pumping.
OMG I LOVE my new wheels. So much fun. Sportier, can play music from my iPhone through the Bluetooth. Sexy lights that adjust as you corner. Tis a thing of fabulousness.
I've been to my first Pilates class for 3 weeks (ouch), and then met a friend for a drink - one of my old clubbing buddies who I hadn't seen for a year or so. Really nice to catch up.
So Marsha it's just you and I on Saturday. I'll message you tomorrow to firm up a venue.
In terms of the sales I don't have a lot of ££ at the moment but I could do with a casual skirt (trying to get legs out more), a summer dress and a pair of black Florete like heels. And I still need a decent bag. But really can't justify the cost......

shopafrolic · 14/05/2014 23:36

Oh and I quite fancy some printed trousers, not sure if I can 'werk' them tho

Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2014 07:55

Hmm what to wear on a school trip with28 6yr olds?
More importantly how can I make DDs old small pink ruck sack work with ANY outfit? Grin

Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2014 07:56

A ruck sack Shock......

libertychick · 15/05/2014 09:05

Well done on the new wheels Shop. Sounds great.

Sorry to hear about ruck sack crisis Dry. I have no words of wisdom to offer, you are probably off by now anyway.

In sales, I don't know. I seem to have bought a lot lately...some chinos would be good, maybe a maxi dress. I'd like a new pair of flat or very low heel black shoes for work but not sure at all about what style I want.

shopafrolic · 15/05/2014 09:25

Do any spreadsheet ladies have mystical powers to know when the sales start then? Sat in docs waiting room, bleurhh

Stokey · 15/05/2014 09:29

I'm thinking about a mid-range bag too Turq and Shop (although you didn't say mid-range!)

Dry was it you who has the MBMJ Natasha? I do like that one, decent size, looks like a good everyday choice. There was a cross-colour one on sale yesterday but think I want black.

And someone on another thread mentioned Owen Barry who I had never heard of but whose bags look very nice.

I've been toying for ages with buying a Mimi Berry one as she is a friend of a friends as well as making lovely bags. Maybe this one?

And as I'm off to wales tomorrow and missing my Le Pliage, I may have popped into Longchamp yesterday and bought this. Apparently it doesn't go on the corners like Le Pliage. They also have Le Pliage Neo which are made of thicker material but have a chunkier zip.

Decameron · 15/05/2014 09:45

I have two MBMJ Natasha, Stokey, great bags, good, durable leather, very handy with kids as you can wear them cross body or over the shoulder. My pink one has the loud lining which doesn't bother me, the grey one has grey lining. They are often discounted at Monnier Frères. Lovely colour Lonchamp. Enjoy Wales!

Turquoiseblue · 15/05/2014 09:48

Anyone have a way to contact customer services in asos ? Am having an absolute night mare trying to get in touch and an order I placed over 10 days ago hasn't been delivered and the courier is uncontactble. The website isn't playing ball either -

MarshaBrady · 15/05/2014 09:52

Oh Turq asos is a nightmare. Twitter and Fb only I think, no number. So annoying!

LinusDKD · 15/05/2014 09:56

I think if you go to the help page there's 'where's my order' click on 'here' and then you have to put in your order number and e-mail address so you can see what the latest date is your order should be delivered.

If it's past that date I think it tells you what to do but I haven't had to do that yet as my order arrived on the last day it was supposed to arrive.

Hope this makes sense but it's hard to explain without seeing it in front of me.

LinusDKD · 15/05/2014 09:57

shop good luck at the dr!

MarshaBrady · 15/05/2014 10:00

Shop hope all is ok at docs

Stokey · 15/05/2014 11:15

Thanks for the tip Decam , they have the pink one, very pretty.

this is the one I found on offer - it's growing one me.

Shop hope the DR has good news for you

shopafrolic · 15/05/2014 12:05

Gah! My Croft cargos!!!!
So they arrived with tags, looked great. Went to put them on this morning (having already given positive feedback on EBay and removed the tags) and there is the tiniest of holes on the back just below the bum!!! I am beyond gutted. Took them to my clothes repairer and he said they can't easily be stitched without putting a fold in the fabric and I quote "we could always patch them" with a big grin on his face. Like I want a patch on my arse!
So I've messaged the seller to explain but I think he's going to tell me no refund because I've removed the tag.......... It's the smallest bloody hole in the world but it's a hole! :(
Liberty my old ones are winging their way to you as even if I resolve this, they are still too big.

shopafrolic · 15/05/2014 12:11

Loads of MJ bags on the Outnet.....

LinusDKD · 15/05/2014 13:24

Oh no shop!

Can you maybe iron one of these sticky patches on the inside of the trousers? So no skin is visible but you don't have a great big patch on your bum?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/05/2014 13:54

That's so annoying Shop. If you don't want to keep them (depends how cheap they were I guess) and you can't get a refund then maybe ebay them onwards?

As for sale dates, I haven't made a spreadsheet Grin, but had a quick look through old emails and it seems to be the 2nd-3rd week of June for most. Last year NAP was 17th June, my-wardrobe was earlier.

Turq I hope asos are helpful when you manage to contact them. I finally got my extra £5 back from Aldo - what a mission!

Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2014 16:37

Are we still on?

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 15/05/2014 16:41

Ah yes......righto:

I survived my day with pink ruck sack...I'm sure you've all been worried for me Grin anyone care to find me a chic ruck sack for future school trips?
Stokey I don't have the Natasha, but now you've gone and linked it I'm quite tempted...v nice.
Shop patch on arse could be a new trend Hmm bloody annoying
And these arrived. Nice, but not nice enough...I'm being SENSIBLE!

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 15/05/2014 16:45

Help me justify what I'm about to do please.
I have found an Anya Hindmarch maxi satchel in orange for £510 (usually over £800). I have been in love with this bag for a long time but I have no money.
I am thinking of EBaying my Mulberyy Bayswater in Oak which I hardly ever use as it is too heavy and I feel as though they are everywhere nowadays. I reckon I'll get about £450 for it on EBay. I can afford the difference. What do you think?

shopafrolic · 15/05/2014 16:46

Well done on the shoes Dry.

OneLittleLady · 15/05/2014 16:52

If you don't love the mulberry, then sell it shop i would do it if it meant getting something else I would love
