Grumpy I know Hampton ct like the back of my hand outs self...... --P.s Friday Wink and I've been thinking about naughty horses all day. Is it the horse that doesn't want to play ball or the jokey racing ignoramus, apart from the fashion ofcourse

I'm also in SW Lon, quite near that place where they play the tennis ;)

Have been a SW Lon girl all my life and love it, would never move. The commute is sensible for our C Lon jobs and it's a nice place for the kids. We went to Woking this weekend and it was beautifully spacious and leafy but I live a 15min walk from Matches so I'll stay put.

Bought a nice Sophie Anderson beach bag for my hols today - lovely and bright!

QueenCadbury · 05/05/2014 19:24

I've just been nostalgic for where we used to live in SW London. We've just stayed with friends who live very near to where we lived and we went for a drive down our old road and saw our old house. Dd was 4 and ds 2 when we left so they don't remember it at all. Also drove over Hampton court bridge. I do miss the river and those walks and bike rides we used to take down there but I don't miss the traffic.

Topazandpearl · 05/05/2014 19:28

Thank you for the comments re outfit.
Glad you found your ring novice!
DS has loved being a student in London (most recently living in Battersea). Before that his halls of residence were in Chelsea!

shopafrolic · 05/05/2014 19:45

Novice please don't say it was the Raindance? I nearly cried when I read your post!
Loving all the London chat.
Still poorly here so I don't have much more news than that, sorry. Was having a browse of the J Crew sale pages, there's a few nice bits there.
My GAP jeans have dyed my legs blue - Despite washing twice before wear Hmm
In other news DS left his beaker on our sofa and it leaked the entire contents everywhere! Joy.
Marsha no ideas about villas I'm afraid as have only ever rented from friends but can definitely back up the recommendation(s) for Kefalonia. Just beautiful.

Is that pic where you stayed Shop, looks really pretty.

I travelled around the Greek Islands when I was early 20s. I hung out with some new friends and some hot Italians. I really can't believe I did it. Was pretty though.

MarshaBrady · 05/05/2014 19:52

Love your new bag Amber.

MarshaBrady · 05/05/2014 19:53

Blair love your US shopping pins, nothing better than a pre-holiday pinning session Grin

Drywhiteplease · 05/05/2014 19:56

I need some cool sunnies....

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 05/05/2014 19:57

I'm still hoping for the ones I saw, fingers crossed.

What type do you like Dry?

LinusDKD · 05/05/2014 20:04

marsha I saw some cobalt Wayfarers today and when I tried them on I was hoping they would look better than all the others (and Aviators) I have tried in the past, but no such luck.

I am a nightmare with glasses and sunglasses because of my square face shape. Sad

Great beach bag amber!

shopafrolic · 05/05/2014 20:09

I nearly bought these sunnies but had to remind myself I only just bought the Tom Fords..... I'm a sunglasses addict. Am about to EBay some RayBans and Diors.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/05/2014 20:14

Thanks Marsha, I'm trying to be sensible but no doubt that will go out the window once I'm there!

How funny that so many of us are so familiar with SW London!

Lovely bag Amber, reminded me that I really like this topshop one. Not going on a beach holiday though.

Drywhiteplease · 05/05/2014 20:19

Stupid to ask online really, need a try on.
Marsha I need very black lenses because I'm always squinting.
Prefer a squared ish shape. Have pair of Pradas but I think they aren't big enough.....but I don't want huge fly eyes either Hmm
love tortoise shell wayfarers but DD said they looked bad Sad. I'm not an aviator woman Sad
I'm not a fan of huge logos either...just a little one

Difficult moi???????????Grin

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 05/05/2014 20:25

Lol Grin yes probably good to do a big try on. I do like the discounts on the outnet though. Sunnies are rather expensive considering.

QueenCadbury · 05/05/2014 20:29

Sounds like a fab weekend dry. Dd would love to see Matilda.

marsha a couple of years ago we did Majorca. It was great. Easy to drive round, short flight, very child friendly eating out etc. would happily go back.

shopafrolic · 05/05/2014 20:30

BTW loads of American Vintage basics on the Outnet. I am v tempted but I really don't need anymore. There's a lovely sunny yellow tee.

MarshaBrady · 05/05/2014 20:34

Oh I think that's the one I got in the Liberty sale last time, I like it.

Queen that sounds lovely.

santamarianovella · 05/05/2014 21:20

We live in NW too, mara and we love it,I don't need to drive anywhere, everything is very close by,we were very serious about selling and moving,(we need more space) but decided to stay put and wait for a couple of years. so much to do with dcs.yes schools can be a nightmare, but that is the case with all good schools,

grumpy great the dress fits, and wow that's very impulsive! Buying on the spot!

dry your weekend sounds fab,I hope I get to do the exact thing with dd,at the moment she is all about Disney princesses, costumes

novice I too did have a mini heart attack on your behalf! Glad you found it.

I bought this C&P sweater, I was not sure the color would suit,I have a not so great relation with pink, but its a keeper, the shade is much lighter IRL, and so incredibly soft, love it,

Lovely bag amber,

Sunnies are the one area,I reallllly struggle to spend on! I can't bring myself to buy new ones,

Drywhiteplease · 05/05/2014 21:25

Oh but Santa the Disney Princess phase is so lovely. Especially those tacky plastic mules with Rhine stones and maribou on that must NEVER be worn coming down stairs ! I love Going to Disney and seeing little girls dressed up as princesses and got quite beside myself meeting the RL princesses too!Grin

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 05/05/2014 21:25

That looks like a supersnuggly jumper santa. I love it!

I still have the Chanel sunglasses I bought when I was pregnant with DS so they are nearly 4 years old. The pair I had before that were Chanel as well, they do seem to do frames that suit my face as my current glasses are Chanel too.

novice glad you found your ring!
