Yes, a great look Amber I see yours are the Boden ones, they look really good.

AmberNectarine · 01/05/2014 20:52

Mine are the Boden ones justa so I can't vouch for the Next ones, but mine rubbed a little to start off with but are breaking in nicely now. I have the same shoes in orange which I wore all of last summer and they were very comfortable in the end.

Drywhiteplease · 01/05/2014 21:03

Noooooooooo hysterical crying face SadSadSad toddler tantrum beats floor with fists I binned the lace skirt when I had The Grand Clear Out!
Well, picks self up, sleeps down hair, straightens clothing never mind. But looks great with red Hobbs skirt Grin
The shies are v similar. Remember I only paid £12 for the next ones (mysterious £14 credit on accHmm) ....not sure how long they'll last but look good now. I think it is worth investing in the Boden or Massimo Dutti because they do go with everything and, as you said, kind of dress down an outfit.
Well that's hit weather MU outfit NO1 sorted.
Grumpy will PM you nearer the date.

Marsha I hadn't seen that, thanks! I do like when WIT does long posts, she hardly ever does. I might have to style my skirt with a grey jumper for work sometime, minus the lovely SW shoes of course!

Dry noooo.... well perfect excuse to get another lace skirt, there are lots around!

I feel I'm lacking a nice pair of flats atm (especially since Aldo still haven't refunded me for my lost pair... boycotting!). I do love the silver pointy style but I noticed the beginnings of a bunion on my little toe recently so think I need to step away from the pointy toe shoes.

Really love the blog outfit Amber, think I'm going to try wearing a stripe top to work sometime!

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 07:48

Blair Aldo still owe you £? That's terrible! I'd like some new flats too. Will have a look and do some links.

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 07:56

These are good. Pointed though. I think Foxy had them.

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 08:04

Lanvin on sale. I can't do patent unfortunately.

shopafrolic · 02/05/2014 08:07

Morning all. DH out schmoozing clients last night so I went to bed early to try and recover. Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly too Justa
Blair that is rubbish about Aldo. Are they on Twitter and FB? Have you tried messaging them there? I find public naming and shaming seems to work better to drive a response. Fingers crossed they sort it out.
Still I'll today so tonight's plans cancelled. We're due to have lunch with friends on Sunday, I'm not sure what to do. If someone is cooking a roast lunch for you, when is the latest you should cancel due to ill health? I'm hoping to be better but not convinced I will be!

Secretsquirrel13 · 02/05/2014 08:14

Morning Shop ThanksThanks to you, you must feel so wiped out by it all. Re the Sunday roast I would contact them today and explain.
Wondering if I need a trip to Gap today, agree the legging jeans are good I wear mine a lot.
Going back to read the thread properly now.

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 08:38

Good idea, they do have twitter. I'd definitely go on there.

Shop I'd give them the heads up, call and say you're ill, would love to go but not sure how you will feel.

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 08:39

Secret I really want to too, if you go let would love to know what it's like. Much stuff left.

OneLittleLady · 02/05/2014 08:51

So, DP has been offered a job in London by the firm he works for. This could mean him moving down to London, me staying here to start/finish my course and then me joining him. There'd be plenty of visits in the mean time though Grin

LinusDKD · 02/05/2014 09:14

Wow one well done for your DP!

shop I am so sorry you're still feeling ill. Sad I would call as well and explain.

marsha those Lanvins are gorgeous but the wrong yellow for me.

As the weather is horrible I am wearing my Jimmies with a white and pink Asos baseball tee and the Burberry mac that I bought a couple of weeks ago has been worn every day this week.

I need some sunshine!

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 09:38

Me too Linus. Fab outfit.

Good news One.

I just misplaced ds for 5 minutes (felt like forever), he hid while I was making eggs, I looked everywhere, he was so quiet and hiding under the sofa. Thought he had disappeared!

Some sale stuff at Donna Ida.

OneLittleLady · 02/05/2014 09:42

it's sunny here but the wind is a bit chilly so I'm still in thick tights (i do feel the cold really badly though) black full skirt, grey nirvana tee and a pink and white cotton cardi on top. it may not quite match (sorry Dry Wink ) but it's comfy and it's just very 'me'

Turquoiseblue · 02/05/2014 12:26

Gah! Lost post and links. Stooopid phone.

Blair- hush have 20% off items at the moment. -pm me if you want me to forward the email.

Marsha links wouldn't work

Want a midi skirt.
Contenders are
this which is a lovely blue in reality - pale but dull like the pic here.

maradesbois · 02/05/2014 12:27

Grr, just lost a post.

Basically was just to say rubbish weather here too, pouring with rain.

marsha love the lanvin flats you linked but the elasticated style really hurts my feet after a couple of hours so have stopped trying.

linus wish I had a mac with me, lots of chic Italian women here who are v weather appropriate in little springtime moncler jackets etc.

stokey agree rubbish about your pliage, has never happened to me even when used as change bag so don't think they should dismiss as normal wear and tear.

blair rubbish aldo cs, hope you get it sorted soon.

Turquoiseblue · 02/05/2014 12:30

skirt&Rf-700=1000&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=50&sort=-1&clr=Silver silver camo my favourite I think

Turquoiseblue · 02/05/2014 12:35

Not sure why I m getting long links sorry.

Have ordered them and two others for try on.

Still on summer jacket hunt. Gah. Want the marant red one from last year.

Justa- terrible performance from pillage.

Amber - great blog post. I wore the same last weekend and loved it - crept shoes were black pony skin flats. Got compliments too.

Uuj - collection sounds exciting.

Turquoiseblue · 02/05/2014 12:36

Oops that s stokey re the pillage -Hmm

QueenCadbury · 02/05/2014 12:52

Morning. Bit tired here after a much needed night out at a friends house. Wore the new pale grey shoes with skinny jeans and a navy blouse.

dry why did you get rid of a lace skirt?
shop call friends and explain. You starting to feel any better yet?
stokey I'd be pretty p'd off after 3 weeks wear.
turq I like the silver one best

LinusDKD · 02/05/2014 13:25

turq I like the silver one best as well.

The Reiss one is a lovely colour but £££ for 100% polyester.

I might wear my black H&M midi skirt tomorrow but I think it needs opaques and they might look a bit strange in May despite the horrible weather.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/05/2014 14:07

Turq Love both those skirts, silver camo the best, it looks like lovely material. I think I got the hush emails re 20% off but it was only selected items? Thanks though and hope I'm wrong!

Marsha yep I need to start charging Aldo interest!! I'm not on twitter Blush Maybe fb. I need to work out how long it's been as they originally said the "investigation" could take ages. :( Love those Lanvin flats.

Shop maybe a prior warning and ask when they'd like to know by? Hope you do feel better.

Well done your DP One, that's exciting for you both!
